He was referring to bullet-stopping body armor he wore while posing with camouflage gear, gas mask, knife and AR-15 rifle next to a Christmas tree, prosecutors said. Patches Thurlow wore related to the 101st Airborne Division, in which he served from 1988 to 1991, and “Boogaloo,” a term taken up by fringe groups referring to a racially or ethnically motivated civil war, prosecutors said. Attorney General Merrick Garland last week announced the number of arrests had reached 500, including 100 people who have been charged with assaulting police and the first defendant charged with assaulting a member of the news media, a total in that category that has climbed to four. Information about newly arrested defendants’ attorneys was not immediately available. In court Wednesday, prosecutors asked to jail a previously charged defendant, the now-fired Rocky Mount, Va., police officer Thomas Robertson, saying that since being charged with a co-worker for trespassing at the Capitol, he has acquired 34 guns he stored at a local gun dealership despite a court order that he should not to possess firearms while on pretrial release, and that he was found with a partially assembled pipe bomb in a box labeled “Booby Trap.” “The picture of Senators cowering on the floor with genuine fear on their faces is the most American thing I have seen in my life,” prosecutors said Robertson wrote on Facebook days after the riot, adding, “. … The only voice these people will now listen to is VIOLENCE.” Robertson’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment."
Trump's base is dissolving; his Ohio rally attendees walked out on him and another rally in Alabama was cancelled. Now the Manhattan district attorney’s office is charging the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer with tax-related crimes tomorrow. We're closing in on the motherfucker.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...1ab8a4-d9bd-11eb-9bbb-37c30dcf9363_story.html excerpt: "Federal investigators have brought multiple conspiracy cases against defendants tied to Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and Three Percenters. In charging papers against Thurlow, an FBI agent attested that several Boogaloo members also were present in the riot. The Proud Boys — designated by Canada as a terrorist organization — have rallied behind Trump since forming in 2016 and establishing a history of violence with far-left groups in street demonstrations. The Oath Keepers and Three Percenters are a loose coalition of groups that recruit police and law enforcement members to oppose what some see as a tyrannical federal government, gaining notoriety as self-declared providers of security at conservative events. In charging papers filed Monday and unsealed Wednesday, prosecutors said Grods’s plea was related to an ongoing grand jury probe into 16 alleged Oath Keepers leaders, members and affiliates Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and other states, who are charged with planning as early as Nov. 3, Election Day, to interfere with the certification of the presidential election."
Grand Jury Indicts Trump Organization and CFO Allen Weisselberg: Reports excerpt: "A grand jury in New York City reportedly indicted The Trump Organization and a top executive Wednesday night, the first slew of criminal charges stemming from a three-year investigation by the Manhattan district attorney. The indictment, according to The Washington Post, charges Donald Trump’s family conglomerate with undisclosed crimes and will remain sealed until Thursday afternoon. What was clear Wednesday night, however, was that Allen Weisselberg, the company’s chief financial officer and a longtime trusted confidant, will be indicted on criminal charges. The long-awaited indictment will reportedly not charge Trump himself, but two insiders who testified before the grand jury told The Daily Beast that investigators were still gunning for the former president. These people said they believe prosecutors have a desire to leverage charges against multiple Trump Organization executives and their families to turn them into witnesses against Trump. Although the indictment remains sealed, people with knowledge of the investigation said they expect it to detail the ways the company and top officers would illegally avoid paying taxes. In previous court filings, investigators have said they were looking into possible bank fraud and underpayment of taxes owed to the government. One witness, who testified before the grand jury and spoke to The Daily Beast, explained how Weisselberg failed to pay taxes on company gifts and perks that amounted to additional salary, like a luxury apartment in New York City’s Upper West Side overlooking the Hudson River."
Fox News cuts off Trump’s 2020 election rant during Texas border trip excerpt: "But despite loads of hype ahead of the event, the reliably pro-Trump Fox News cut off the former president’s remarks just over a minute in, as Mr Trump began ranting about the 2020 election. “We had an election where we did much better than we did the first time and amazingly we lost,” Mr Trump said, sitting alongside Texas governor Greg Abbott. He continued raging against US elections, comparing them to a “banana republic,” before his audio feed was muted and Fox hosts cut in for commentary."

In the 2021 Presidential Historians Survey, Trump is fourth from the bottom of the list, above Pierce, Buchanan, and Johnson (who was impeached, though not twice like Trump). Trump is ten positions below Nixon. Total Scores/Overall Rankings | C-SPAN Survey on Presidents 2021 | C-SPAN.org
I was watching that on the local news, so far 10 people in Massachusetts have been arrested for their participation in the Capitol riots. But no other state comes close to Florida for arrests in the capitol breach with 52.
Man from Dayton, Ohio arrested in connection with insurrection at Capitol. Man charged in Jan. 6 Capitol riot arrested in Huber Heights excerpt: "Hart, of Huber Heights, is accused of posting five videos to YouTube, including four on Jan. 6 that include a video of the rally for President Donald Trump; a video taken while walking to the U.S. Capitol; and two videos that appear to be recorded from the top of a scaffolding showing protesters pushing past Capitol police. A fifth video from Jan. 4 is captioned “Headed to DC from Dayton Ohio to support President Trump because the election was tainted” and shows Hart driving to Washington, D.C., during which he said he is going “to represent for Donald J. Trump,” the statement of facts read."
'Rioters For Trump' would be another appropriate name for a group to put on signs at Trump's rallies.
Wrong ... charges were to be UNSEALED by 2 pm on Thursday. You can have charges filed six months or longer before UNSEALING. Weasulburg has already turned himself in this morning ... hours before 2 pm. He knew what the charges were and why they issued a warrant for him, because the charges were filed UNDER SEAL.
A Trump rioter from Ohio, the state that Trump said (at his recent rally in Ohio) sent a brave young man to a plant (a plant?) and asked the audience for the name of the person (Neil Armstrong). Ohio has degraded.
