Slightly warmer today. Supposed to be nice and hot this weekend. Definitely heading to the river this weekend as long as it doesn't rain.
I just love this little guy! Thanks for posting that! And how is life lately Mr Boozercruiser? I see the ships are set to sail again sometime, any plans, wishes, dream vacation spots? (I could recommend a few )
I love going to the river, floating down stream and catching a fish, great idea!! Here's a song to go along...
the most notable thing I think about today's atmospheric conditions is... the sky is very blue! I paused to look at it, and almost took a picture. It's gorgeous.
Nice! That song is so chill. I swim in it also. As long as I have a fishing pole in hand. No one can say anything. Nice little loophole
The PNW can get hot in the summer but the next few days are on tap to break record highs for the day, for the month, and forever( since record keeping began). Maybe people in Phoenix know how to deal with 110 degree heat….in western Washington, we don’t! The climate, it is a changing!
........ Thank you for your very nice post Zen and your interest in how life is treating Wifey and I. Life is very good and nice thank you, and I count our blessings every day. Particularly after I came through my change of Mitral Valve heart operation last December which I reckon you will remember. Wifey and I are going to Liverpool again this coming Monday 28th June for a 4 night stay in a special Super Room on the top 7th floor of a very nice Travel Lodge situated in the heart of Liverpool. That's for our 25th Wedding Anniversary next Thursday 1st July. Then on the 2nd July we are going over to my Sister in New Brighton for a 3 night stay to celebrate our anniversary and my bla bla bla birthday on the 3rd July. She is throwing a party for us, so that should be very nice. On the 10th July we are going down to Porthmadog on the llyn Peninsula for a week. I have booked a lovely cottage/apartment in the marina so that should be nice. £900 ruddy quid that is! Still. That's £900 quid I won't leave behind when I pop me clogs! I think you know Wifey and I are living life to the full. We are fit. Active. And ready to go! We are just waiting for flight restrictions to go and then we will be off to Madeira for two weeks. Before the pandemic hit we were having at least 5 holidays a year abroad in Europe, and we will pick back up in that mode one the pandemic is over. I better get my Weather report up Zen, or I shall be all day going on and on and on and boring everyone stiff about our good life! ........ ... Good Saturday Morning/Afternoon/Evening or Night to my HIP forum friends. Not too bad today the weather, but could be better for the time of year. .. Thanks for the update Kenny! And super congratulations to you and the Mrs. surviving all those years together! And Happy Birthday in advance! As I think you may be partying heartily that day Your itinerary sounds fun, I'd also like to go to Madeira, sounds like a very interesting place. Yes, we follow your travels with vicarious glee, enjoying the life you lead from afar Go forth and enjoy! Life is meant to be lived, not suffered.
Hi Zen. Again. Thank you for your very nice post. ....... I just hope that me saying here how life is right now that nobody thinks I am bragging of any sort. You believe me that in my life there where times when I have lived in poverty really, didn’t have two pennies to rub together, and have had great difficulties which I could write a ruddy good book about. I am one really who just says things as they are at the moment, and I have worked all of my life for the fortunate life I am living now. I could go on, but enough of that as I am sure you and my friends here get my grift. Down to business! ........ ..... Good Sunday Morning/Afternoon/Evening or Night to my HIP forum friends. Not too bad today the weather, and it looks like things are warming up for the week ahead. ..
