I think that if the rioters actually got their hands on a few republicans, they would have thought differently about their vote this week on the 9/11 style investigation. Unless something actually happens to them, they aren’t going to take anything serious. That GOP is doomed. They are done!

Sometimes I start to get depressed knowing how much stupidity has crawled out of the woodwork thanks to Trump. And so I take another toke. Not a good way to deal with it.

Trump's base is slowly shrinking, but some hardcore minions will never give it up. I just wish they'd stop trying to attract attention, it's really irritating!

 

The more attention they keep trying to attract, the less popular he’s becoming. It’s actually working against them. All the GOP needed to do was kick him to the curb and then go on about their business. Diehard Trump supporters are Republicans, at the end of the day. They would never jump ship and vote Democrat if Trump was completely out of the picture. I just don’t see it. It’s shameful what the GOP has become.

Since the end of the Trump administration, prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York, have been exploring whether pro-Russia Ukrainian figures tried to spread damaging claims about Joe Biden and his son as a way to tip the election in favour of Mr Trump.

Among the targets of the investigation is Andriy Derkach, a member of parliament in Ukraine, who US officials previously warned then-president Trump was a figure being used to spread misinformation about the election. In September, the Treasury Department sanctioned Mr Derkach, calling him an “active Russian agent.”"
