But, to be fair... McConnell himself has gotten very wealthy. So he's not seeing the problem here. It's supposed to trickle down, innit?
I guarantee the CEO of this company told his minions “find SOMETHING! We need to keep the big lie going right up to the next election “ There should be jail time awarded for all this!
This audit lacks any credibility. I think the answer unfortunately would be to have another company audit what Cyber Ninjas have done- plain and simple. Why would we believe a damn thing from the outcome of THEIR audit? This shit dance is going to go on and on, and it’s a damn shame. I think the piece that needs investigated are the votes TRUMP received. Inspect THOSE ballots!
I beg to differ, you forgot Hurricane Dorian. He was accurately able to identify Alabama on a map of the US, despite his crude child-like drawing of a circle . ...lol...
Rudy Giuliani Reportedly Called Arizona Official About Getting Election Challenge 'Fixed Up' | HuffPost excerpt: "Gates is one of four Republicans on the five-member Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, which is the scene of a controversial recount that is being conducted by a Trump-supporting, right-wing conspiracy theorist. One of the auditors is a former state legislator who attended the U.S. Capitol riot and whose own name appears on the ballots he’s examining as a failed candidate and an elector for Trump. Gates, a life-long Republican, wrote in an op-ed in the Republic earlier this month that he fears his party is being taken over by “conspiracy enablers whose primary purpose is to promote the ‘Big Lie’ about the 2020 election.” “If we encourage this madness much longer – we will lose credibility with the majority of Americans on issues where I believe we have better ideas. We will do lasting damage to our republic,” Gates wrote. Giuliani could not immediately be reached for comment."
Trump likely didn't know the location of Alabama on the map when he used his Sharpie pen to doctor a government document to try to cover up a mistake he made when he used a dated hurricane projection map to claim that the hurricane might his Alabama. The hurricane had changed direction and was already heading north up the U.S. east coast. He also pressured a high-level official at NOAA to make a written statement to make his mistake not look like a mistake. The name of the official is unknown because the statement was unsigned. On the topic of Alabama, Trump tried to reach Tommy Tuberville of Alabama during his Capitol riot and dialed the wrong number. This is the person who is supposedly ten steps ahead of everyone.
Tuberville isn't too bright either. He is a former football coach and now a U.S. Senator. Tuberville publicly said he was going to use his Senate office to raise campaign money for himself, which is illegal.
I suppose there's a certain logic here when it comes to trump supporters. They believe, they too can become billionaires because their president is as dumb as they are, and look how he turned out.
The Republicans Who Backed Trump’s Election Lies Are Hatching a Plot to Take Over Trump wasn’t able to steal the 2020 election because enough state and local officials held firm against his anti-democracy efforts—but what happens if the ex-president’s allies nab key roles in future contests? By Eric Lutz May 24, 2021 The Republicans Who Backed Trump’s Election Lies Are Hatching a Plot to Take Over excerpt: "Indeed, what would have happened to Biden’s victory in Georgia had Brad Raffensperger, a pro-Trump conservative, not stood his ground and declined to “find” 12,000 votes for the incumbent? What if election officials in places like Pennsylvania and Arizona hadn’t won out over the will of Trump and GOP state legislators, who insisted, without basis, that the vote had been marred by fraud? Could Trump’s relentless attempt to undo his loss have worked? Republicans are trying to answer those questions in the lead-up to the 2022 midterms and the 2024 general. In addition to passing laws making it harder to vote and redrawing maps to dilute the impact of their opponents’ voters, the party’s powerful MAGA wing is seeking to oversee the voting process itself, with several proponents of Trump’s Big Lie running to replace election officials in key states. Representative Jody Hice, who voted to object to Biden’s victory after the January 6 Capitol attack, is running for secretary of state in Georgia. Mark Finchem, a state representative who is supporting the partisan Maricopa County audit, is seeking the same position in Arizona. Kristina Karamo, who challenged the results of the election in Michigan, is running for secretary of state there. “Someone who is running for an election administration position, whose focus is not the rule of law but instead ‘the ends justify the means,’ that’s very dangerous in a democracy,” Bill Gates, Republican vice chair of the Maricopa County board of supervisors, told Politico Monday. “This is someone who is trying to tear at the foundations of democracy.”"
