Police records show threats to kill lawmakers in wake of Capitol attack excerpt: "One 13 January bulletin said that the group had been “calling for others to join them in ‘storming’ state, local, and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event POTUS is removed as president prior to inauguration day”. The bulletin also noted that the agency was facing broader challenges in monitoring far-right actors on social media websites, saying that “with the shutdown of Parler it has been a challenge to track down how activities are being planned”, and that they continued to “see more users on Gab and Telegram following the de-platforming of many accounts on more conventional social media companies”. The bulletin mentions a “possible second suspect” in the placement of pipe bombs near the DNC and RNC, who was “observed on video scouting/taking photographs in advance of the placement”, who “took a metro to the East Falls church stop and took a Lyft from there”. On 12 January, a bulletin noted that a supreme court agent had noticed “two vehicles stopped beside each other” outside the court building, and that in one an older white male was “videotaping the Capitol fence line and the court”, and in the other a passenger was “hanging out the window in order to videotape the court”. A 22 January bulletin mentions that in Pennsylvania a man was arrested after “transmitting interstate threats to multiple US senators of the Democratic party”, having stated that he was “going to DC to kill people and wanted to be killed by the police”. When Pennsylvania state police apprehended him “he was in possession of a rifle, two handguns, and a large quantity of ammunition”"
Police records show threats to kill lawmakers in wake of Capitol attack excerpt: "The threats continued for weeks after the attack. Almost a month later, a bulletin reported that “an identified militia group member” in Texas was claiming that if their “operation failed at the US Capitol”, there was a “back-up plan” involving the group “detonating bombs at the US Capitol during the State of the Union”. The group was not named but was described as “a large organization allegedly with members from every state, which included individuals who were former military and law enforcement”. The documents also reveal how law enforcement agencies secured the cooperation of private companies, from ride-share companies to hotels. A bulletin includes the claim that “FBI [is] working with Lyft and Uber to identify riders to and from the protest locations”. The same bulletin carries detailed figures on reservations in hotels across the capital leading up to the inauguration on 20 January, which was secured by an unprecedented mobilization of law enforcement and the national guard. Two days later, another bulletin said that “MPD’s intelligence division has conducted extensive outreach with security directors of area hotels”, who they asked to be “vigilant for evidence of suspicious activity and firearms possession by hotel guests”."
Law enforcement was overwhelmed investigating the types of people Trump said he loved and who were very special people to him.
In October 2020, Trump claimed at a rally that his supporters who ambushed the Biden-Harris tour bus in Texas were protecting the bus. He also referred to his supporters who ambushed the bus as patriots and said "I love Texas!" It's similar to his lies about his rioters hugging and kissing police officers at the Capitol. His rhetoric has induced an increasing level of violence, making it uncertain what types of incidents would occur if he were to be in office another four years. He's attempting to keep the fever going with a resumption of his rallies in June 2021. FBI investigating Trump supporters who swarmed Texas campaign bus excerpt: "Even as dramatic footage from the scene caused widespread alarm, President Donald Trump threw his support behind the so-called Trump train, tweeting “I LOVE TEXAS!” Earlier on Sunday, he asked supporters at a rally in Michigan: “Did you see the way our people … were… protecting this bus ... because they’re nice. They had hundreds of cars. Trump! Trump! Trump and the American flag.”"
Former Defense secretary: No Republican president I worked for would recognize GOP today By Joseph Choi 05/23/21 11:29 AM EDT Former Defense secretary: No Republican president I worked for would recognize GOP today excerpt: "Robert Gates, the former Defense secretary under both the Bush and Obama administrations, said in an interview that aired Sunday that of the five Republican U.S. presidents he worked for, "I don't think any of them would recognize the Republican Party today." CBS's "Face the Nation" host John Dickerson asked Gates what he made of the current state of the Republican Party given that a contingent of its voters do not consider President Biden to be legitimately elected. "I would have serious concerns about the future. You know, I've ... worked for eight presidents. Five of them were Republicans. I don't think any of them would recognize the Republican Party today," Gates said. "I think in terms of the values and the principles that the Republican Party stood for under those five presidents are hard to find these days.""
Once again I ask why the loyalty to trump? If trump decides to run again in 2024 he is effectively slamming door in any potential republican presidential candidate’s face. Are yu listening Rafael, Little Marco?
LOL, I'm agnostic but, for me, God is just another word for the Loving Truth, which can be wrathful! Nobody can be our own worst critic than ourselves, and my poetry is the mathematic proof. Believe it or not, Three Stooges slapstick is related to your immune system, which can imitate your conscious mind. The exact biology has yet to be explored in detail, but it means modern science will soon have a cure for stupidity. They can already literally inject new memories and erase old ones.
National Guard ending mission at Capitol excerpt: "The National Guard is ending its deployment in Washington, D.C. more than four months after troops were called to the district following the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. WUSA 9 reported that 2,149 National Guard troops will return to their home bases this week, after the Department of Defense did not request that the force extend its mission to help protect the nation’s capital past Sunday. A spokesperson for the D.C. National Guard told WUSA 9 that operations will “return to normal.” "The Capitol Police have not requested the Guard to stay past May 23. Once the mission concludes, D.C. National Guard will return to normal operations and the out-of-state Guard members will return to their home station,” Capt. Chelsi B. Johnson of the D.C. National Guard Public Affairs said in a statement to WUSA 9."
What if the Unorthodox Arizona Audit Declares Trump Won? excerpt: "Another auditor was a former Republican state legislator named Anthony Kern who participated in “Stop the Steal” events, was photographed on the steps of the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot, and had been fired from a law enforcement job for lying to a supervisor and placed on an official misconduct list. Kern’s name was also on the ballot as an official elector for Donald Trump—under normal Arizona audit procedures, it is illegal to count a vote when your name is on the ballot. Kern was ultimately removed as a counter because of “optics,” Senate liaison Ken Bennett told reporters in the press pool when I was at the coliseum."
What if the Unorthodox Arizona Audit Declares Trump Won? excerpt: "And then there are those hasty counting procedures, which seem almost designed to create errors. Despite Smith’s insistence that this recount was not a recount, the audit supporters and the rest of the Republican base seem ready to view it as exactly that. Bennett, the former Arizona secretary of state who is now the leader of the audit, said this count—and he called it a “count”—is being conducted to look for “more than acceptable variance” from the official tally. “More than acceptable variance” is 0.3 percent, or Joe Biden’s margin of victory in the state, Bennett told me. In Maricopa County, that would be a change of 6,268 ballots, or approximately one error toward President Donald Trump every third batch count. Again, the count allows up to two discrepancies per batch between the two official counters and a third “off” counter. “This has been designed in a way to create this doubt and to be able to put out misinformation and not be honest with the public about what they found,” Arizona’s Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs told me. “A really key piece of any audit is that you can replicate your results, and they’re creating results that are not going to be replicable by anyone else who wanted to do the same thing again.”"
Democrat Adrian Fontes lost his Maricopa County Recorder position to Republican Stephen Richer in the 2020 election in AZ. Amidst accusations by Republicans that the Recorder office was corrupt for the 2020 election, the running joke is that Fontes forgot to rig his own election. Even Richer is now against the audit by Cyber Ninjas.
Slightly off topic, but just wanted to point out how much good that Mc Connell does for his state. . . . Not. The Poorest States in America Mississippi. Rank: 50th. Mississippi's Poverty Rate: 19.6% ... Louisiana. Rank: 49th. Louisiana's Poverty Rate: 19% ... New Mexico. Rank: 48th. New Mexico's Poverty Rate: 18.2% ... Kentucky. Rank: 47th. Kentucky's Poverty Rate: 16.3% ... Arkansas. Rank: 46th. ... West Virginia. Rank: 45th. ... Alabama. Rank: 44th. ... Oklahoma. Rank: 43rd.
When they’re finished I wouldn’t be surprised that they find Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction. What kind of legitimacy does a company named “Cyber Ninjas” have? This whole audit nonsense smells rigged!
