Um - I'm from England. I got my hiking badge as a scout as a child, I love going camping with my friends at festivals, and I have never ever tramped anywhere.

Adam and Eve On a Raft
This is possibly one of the better-known diner terms, referring to two eggs on toast. But the dynamic duo inspired a whole slew of breakfast terms, like “Adam and Eve on a log” for eggs and sausage, or “Adam and Eve on a raft and wreck ’em” for scrambled eggs and toast. Poor Adam and Eve, what a precarious lifestyle!

You Brits are a quirky lot with the language.

(Ooops, that use of 'lot', rather than 'bunch' or 'group', sounded almost British, yet t'was written by an educated person in Louisiana.) Here I have to fall back on your Mr Churchill's statement, "Two peoples divided by a common language." Still true today, yet inroads are continuing to be made between the two. Granted some of our regional dialects are truly horrid (and I collect their oddities out of curiosity), nonetheless, some of yours are as well.

And you folk seem to have some sort of 'thing' with the vowels such as the letters 'I' and letter 'A'. Such as, if it's 'vital' and 'vitality', then why is it a, 'vit-amin pill'?

Just a gentle nudge, nudge, wink, wink, there. (Ooops, a Python-esque slipped in.)
