Swalwell sues Trump over Capitol riot. Eric Swalwell sues Trump and allies for violating civil rights with Jan. 6 incitement excerpt: "Why it matters: The federal lawsuit filed on behalf of Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who served as one of the House's impeachment managers, adds to the mounting legal exposure Trump has found himself facing since leaving office. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) was the first lawmaker to sue Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 riot, accusing the former president in a suit brought by the NAACP of violating the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act by trying to prevent Congress from carrying out its official duties. Trump is also under criminal investigation by the Fulton County district attorney in Georgia for his efforts to pressure officials to overturn the results of the election, in addition to the ongoing legal scrutiny he faces in New York for his business dealings."
Trump collected lots of cash off his fake election fraud claim. Now he will be spending all that on defense attorneys, other than Sidney Powel and Rudy Giuliani who have their own legal problems, or his earlier lawyers like John Dowd who refuse to touch his problems with a ten foot pole.
Donald Duck has no choice but to declare the republican party bankrupt and form his own party, because he is bankrupt now that they've frozen his assets. He knows damned well the only reason people are supporting him, is because he is willing to fight for them, and destroy anything remotely connected to the government. The Tea Party and republicans can pretend to be a political party all they want, and Donald Duck will thoroughly trash them.
Barnett will remain in jail until the next court hearing in May. It's not polite to put your feet on the table. 'Not fair!': Man who put feet on Pelosi's desk has outburst at court hearing for Capitol riot excerpt: "The man who was seen putting his feet up on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot had an outburst in federal court Thursday over his continued detainment. Richard Barnett, reportedly screamed at Judge Christopher R. Cooper during a virtual hearing where it was determined he would remain detained until at least his next hearing in May. He yelled at Cooper that it was “not fair” that he remained in jail as others were released, according to NBC Washington’s Scott MacFarlane."
Conned by a con man. It's so discouraging to think that tens of millions of people fall prey to this person.

Trump demands Fox fire Karl Rove. Trump Goes Full Cancel Culture As He Angrily Demands Fox News Fire Karl Rove | HuffPost excerpt: "Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly decried “cancel culture,” but on Thursday night, he proved once again that he’s one of its biggest practitioners. Trump released an angry statement decrying a number of Republican figures for being disloyal to him and called on Fox News to ditch longtime contributor Karl Rove, who he labeled a “RINO.” “Karl Rove is all talk and no action!” Trump wrote. “Fox News should get rid of Karl Rove and his ridiculous ‘whiteboard’ as soon as possible!” Trump was apparently triggered by a Wall Street Journal column in which Rove criticized the former president’s CPAC speech as “divisive, controversial and embittered.” “There was no forward-looking agenda,” the longtime GOP strategist wrote. “Simply a recitation of his greatest hits.” Rove dismissed Trump’s gripe in a statement to Reuters. "
Trump has fallen into the trap of being obsessed with whatever his critics say about his political behavior. It has worsened over time and has become a hare-trigger behavior. When he was a newcomer to the political world in 2016, he didn't have a political record that people could criticize. It was a significant advantage for him. In 2016 Trump showed at least a minimal semblance of having a forward-looking vision for the country, although many would say a warped vision that involved promotion of protectionism and bigotry. Trump's 2020 campaign platform was filled with empty statements from him and his officials, such as saying that he did great things in his first term and would do many more in a second term.
Trump has never learned to cope with political criticism like he did, to some degree, in the celebrity world where he had more control (i.e., David Pecker burying bad stories about him using the catch-and-kill approach). His frustration with his lack of control is part of what led to his political demise in 2020. An example late in his term was the 2020 Thanksgiving Day press briefing where Trump sat at his little desk and yelled at a reporter, "Don't ever talk to the president that way!" After dodging the question repeatedly, he was upset about being asked repeatedly if he would finally concede to Biden.
This is another attribute of Trump that led to his demise. The type of vision he had in 2016 was sufficiently effective for him, as a political newcomer, to garner just enough votes to win the election by appealing to the grievance-oriented, negative, basal emotions of a segment of the public. It was a negative type of vision that, in the longer run, bitterly divided the country to an extent that his term ended with a riot at the Capitol, symbolic of his divisiveness and his appeals to white grievance. The nature of what a second term of Trump might be like after events like the Capitol riot is open to the imagination.
The FBI has labeled QANON as Domestic Terrorists. They supported Trump and showed up for the January 6th event which he and Roger Stone and Alex Jones set up. The FBI is also looking into members of the Republican Party in Congress who helped these QANON terrorists do more that $30,000,000.00 damage to federal property. When these dots are connected, I think Trump will end up in federal prison.
Star Spangled Trumper Revealed: The Star-Spangled Trumper Filmed Attacking Cops At The Capitol Robert Scott Palmer assaulted police with a fire extinguisher on Jan. 6 — and he’s still at large. Meet one of the online sleuths working to change that. By Ryan J. Reilly and Jesselyn Cook 03/05/2021 01:27 pm ET Revealed: The Star-Spangled Trumper Filmed Attacking Cops At The Capitol | HuffPost excerpt: "With bright red and white stripes across his body and stars down his sleeves, the man in the American flag jacket and “FLORIDA FOR TRUMP” hat wielded a fire extinguisher while charging the U.S. Capitol on the afternoon of Jan. 6. He shoved his way through the crowd of rioters to the police line, then sprayed officers at close range before chucking the emptied canister at them. By nightfall he himself had been lightly harmed, apparently by a police crowd control munition. He held up his shirt to show off his bruised gut during an interview with a female journalist filming him live as cops pushed the mob back from Capitol grounds. Then he looked straight into her livestreaming device and identified himself as Robert Palmer from Clearwater, Florida. At this point, the man had not only assaulted federal officers before a sea of smartphones while wearing highly distinctive attire, he’d also willingly revealed his own name and hometown on video at the scene of the crime — while still in the same outfit. This isn’t your typical “Florida Man” story, despite its absurdity. This is the story of a violent insurrectionist who’s still at large — nearly two months later — and one woman who joined the online sleuthing communities crowdsourcing their efforts to bring a Capitol attacker to justice."
Palmer says he didn't do anything wrong. Revealed: The Star-Spangled Trumper Filmed Attacking Cops At The Capitol | HuffPost excerpt: "Palmer seemed to grow increasingly anxious as the call continued. “I’m just going to just leave it like that. I’m not getting myself any — not deeper, ’cause I didn’t do anything wrong — but I’m not involving myself anymore,” he said. He hung up when HuffPost asked him about the fire extinguisher."
