Yeah- that was the thing that fucked me up the most. To know that my brethren-in-arms were turning over in their graves when they heard this (I know they’re dead, but I still felt the pain and anguish for them). That guy, who shit over everything and everyone- obviously missed out on much needed asswhoopens when he was younger. He would have learned some humility and respect for others.

Problems are compounded when the president himself has to be considered an instigator and potential terrorist.

'Colossal' breakdown: FBI warning not fully shared before Capitol riot; police lacked training, gear

Capitol riot: FBI warning not fully shared, police lacked training

    excerpt:

"Top Capitol law enforcement officials Tuesday described cascading intelligence breakdowns before the deadly Jan. 6 riots, including failure to adequately distribute an ominous bulletin provided by the FBI the night before warning that protesters were "preparing for war."

In the first public testimony from officials tasked with the security strategy, former Capitol Police chief Steven Sund told a joint Senate investigating committee that the FBI report prepared by agents in the bureau's office in Norfolk, Virginia, was received by the police department's intelligence division but was never shared with the agency's command staff.

The new disclosure only underscored what lawmakers described as a "colossal" security breakdown in intelligence sharing, training and equipping officers who were badly overrun by an armed mob bent on halting the certification of President Joe Biden's election."

Merrick Garland confirmation hearing: Capitol riot is 'first priority'

    excerpt:

    "'Dangerous period' of domestic terrorism

At the same time, the former prosecutor offered a stark warning for the politically divisive times, saying that the country faces a “more dangerous period” than when violent domestic forces sparked the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, which still stands as the most deadly domestic terror attack in U.S. history.

In his previous Justice Department tenure, Garland's work was steeped in the fight against domestic terrorism when he oversaw the Oklahoma City investigation and prosecution of bomber Timothy McVeigh, along with co-conspirator Terry Nichols.

At Monday's hearing, he called the Capitol siege the "most heinous attack on democratic processes I’ve ever seen."

If confirmed, Garland said his first act as attorney general would be to convene a meeting of prosecutors and investigators involved in the inquiry, which has so far led to more than 230 arrests.

Garland said he would urge investigators to examine “more broadly” the origins of the attack and determine the risk of future assaults."

News about the Nashville bombing seems to have disappeared into the black hole.

Trump stayed quiet about the incident.

Donald Duck is still a free man, because money is the only issue on the table, and half the country doesn't trust the other half, which is every con artist's wet dream.

Trump may soon have to answer rape allegations under oath | WTRF

    excerpt:

"In September, after several unsuccessful attempts by Trump’s lawyers to get Carroll’s case dismissed or delayed, U.S. Justice Department officials under his administration took the unusual step of asking that the government be substituted for Trump as the defendant in the case. Justice Department lawyers argued that Trump, like any typical government employee, is entitled under federal law to immunity from civil lawsuits when performing his job. They argued that he was acting in his capacity as president when he said Carroll was lying.

Legal experts said it was unprecedented for the Justice Department to defend a president for conduct before he took office. When Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Federal District Court in Manhattan rejected that argument, the Justice Department appealed. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has yet to rule on it.

It’s yet to be seen whether Justice Department officials under President Joe Biden, who took office last month, will continue to defend the case on Trump’s behalf. The White House and the Justice Department declined to comment.

If the appeals court upholds Judge Kaplan’s decision, it would likely clear the way for Trump to be deposed by Carroll’s lawyers."

As a last-ditch effort after Trump's other legal maneuvers failed, Barr made the unusual move of intervening in a case and defending Trump for a personal incident that occurred before he became president. The DOJ defended the intervention by essentially saying that Trump defamed her as part of his presidential job function.

It would be unusual for the DOJ during the Biden administration to continue to defend Trump when he is no longer president and for an alleged defamation related to an incident that occurred before Trump became president.

They have the worst rates of rape, abortion, divorce, alcoholism, suicide, and child abuse, which is why hippies sometimes call them zombies, because you have to pity them as much as being angered and horrified. Jesus said, "Forgive them father, for they know not what they do" and Donald Duck is definitely proof, they are totally clueless and have been entirely corrupted by their own money and technology. The only tears they get are crocodile tears, because there's nobody left to mourn.

FBI Arrests Kentucky Nurse, Husband in Connection With Capitol Riot

    excerpt:

"A Kentucky nurse who said she was fired after participating in the Jan. 6 riot in the U.S. Capitol has been arrested by the FBI along with her husband, the agency announced Tuesday. Lori and Thomas Vinson, of Owensboro, are facing charges including impeding government conduct and knowingly entering a restricted area. In January, Lori Vinson told several local news stations that she indeed had participated in the insurrection, which she said cost her her job at the Evansville, Indiana hospital she worked at. “The FBI showed up here and after speaking to me said you’re not going to be hearing from me again,” Lori Vinson told local ABC affiliate WEHT in January. “I’m not upset that I stood up for what I thought was right.""

It's important to note that when Hawley & Cruz challenged the count of Electoral College votes, that triggered a procedural rule which required two hours of debate in both houses of Congress.
While it may have been a purely cynical pandering to the MAGA Death Cult for midterm votes, it had the practical effect of taking what is usually a perfunctory ritual and pointlessly prolonging it, thereby effectively fixing Congress in place in their chambers in the U.S. Capitol Building, which was about to be assaulted and sacked. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if that was the original intent.

I wouldn’t doubt that. Both of those chumps helped incite the violence, and there’s literally in-your-face evidence to prove that.
I would love to see Cruz locked the hell up for being such a worthless tool, anyways!

And what part of that is not conspiracy? That and the blatant "miscommunications" over bringing in more police and national guard. Of course it was an inside job where they were more or less told to stand down and just let it happen. Convenient that the Capitol police officials just got to bail out. "Oh, I resign".....

How can this not be termed a coup? What else do we need, tanks and machine guns ? You know, like in the regular other coups, the US has set up.....
