What's ur opinion on Biden?

Joe Biden is an Establishment Democrat. He'll be at least moderately liberal on social issues but Wall Street owns him, so we might hear of bullshit like "clean coal." Still I think he'll be OK. I'll take him, especially after the dumpster fire we've had for the past four years. Better "meh" than "WTF."

 

Donald Duck makes Andrew Jackson look good.

 

From a Canadian point of view, Trump made USA look like retards. Biden may be just "ok" but at least he'll bring back the "prestige" that the USA deserve. You folks from the other side of the border are good peeps and I love going in your country for various reasons but that Trump dude made you look ridiculous. Russia and China were probably - quietly - laughing their asses off watching the mess happening. You good folks deserve better than the orange dude.

I think the whole world has that same kind of perspective. Those 4 years were more negative than positive, better days are ahead for our American friends.

 

Americans are not famous for producing quality goods at reasonable prices, but for Hollywood, marketing, franchises, and a line of crap a mile long. Sometimes, all the bullshit comes back to bite us in the ass, as in the civil war.

Believe it or not, I cracked the analog logic for language, any language and any mathematics. All English speaking cultures are cultures of compulsive liars, who teach their language only has one grammar, when it has two, and refuse to teach children how to use a stupid dictionary, share their words, and play nice. When the entire world was largely composed of extended families farming the land the tribal groups all the lies promoted creativity and mixing of the gene pool, but are rapidly becoming self-defeating as our technology improves. Americans are literally making themselves more stupid, using cellphones and televangelism and whatnot.

I'm working on the analog logic required to help their population implode even faster. If they insist on killing themselves, at least people can make money off them and learn what to avoid. Analog logic can be 10,000x to a million times more efficient, and is crucial to AI and quantum mechanics. Japanese are also imploding, so its an enormous market waiting to be tapped.

 

both Biden and Harris are essentially from the "Wall Street" wing of the Democratic Party. Look at where the money has come from in all of their past campaigns. Delaware is home state to most credit card companies and Biden was known in Congress as the chief protector of those companies against federal regulations to protect credit card users. Harris raised most of the money to finance her California campaigns from Silicon Valley and used her position as California Attorney General to protect them from regulations the same way Biden used his position in the Senate to protect credit card companies. They are better than Trump and Pence but Obama picked Biden as his VP to send a message to Wall Street that it didn't have anything to fear from a Obama administration - and history shows he was right. Biden picked Harris as his VP partly to get out the black vote but also to send a message that based on her "law and order" record as California AG he would not be soft or weak on crime.

 

Although we approach things from slightly different starting points, I think that we both see the REAL problems facing the entire planet.
It is a bit depressing watching the circles ever decreasing into a mire of insanity driven by greed.

When an aquarium goes bad, we can simply flush the whole lot down the toilet and start again.
I sometimes think that we are heading in the same direction. Lets just hope that the flushing part remains metaphorical.

They're not these corporate demagogues beyond the common man's purview or anything remotely like that. Kamala Harris one might argue is a freaking prosecutor! but she's not anymore...

It's like, "Hello? She's grown up now!" for crying out loud.


I think people who say that are just trying to tear them down. They want to pick on democrats usually, and it's sort of insidious.


This momentum is trying to build against Biden's team and Biden despite - what has he done? - reversed everything worth reversing that Donald Trump tried to do to spite us as democrats or in the name of faux-patriotism (arguably white nationalism).



It's not a good policy to stand against the types of attitudes and the sort of universal unity that Biden means to instill or revitalize in the American electorate/populous.



And so when you try to equate him with this sort of unthinking heartless soulless wall street ethos and attitude or personality, it really REAALLY sounds phony and made up!
