In a way, Trump did demand a recount when he won in 2016.

He was upset that he lost the popular vote by about 3 million and launched a commission headed by Kobach to find the 3 million people who supposedly illegally voted for Hillary. The commission quietly disbanded later after finding no fraud,

Bloggers referred to Trump in 2016 as a sore winner.

Trump couldn't accept reality when he won in 2016. He wasn't going to accept a loss in 2020.

 

Maybe they should let down the barriers again, and let them kill more cops. See how long it takes the cops to figure out they are killing themselves.

 

Ironic how the only other actual job he's ever held was as a 'reality' show host.
Reality is NOT his strong suit.
He seemed to think he was still doing the show, though, which mainly consisted of his telling the guests on the show, "You're fired!"

 

Ashli Babbitt was shot by a police officer who was in the House Speaker's Lobby while she was trying to climb through a window at the entrance to the lobby after rioters smashed the windows and nearly broke the doors down. The doors were barricaded with furniture.

The lobby is near the House chamber. Before the siege, House members were holding a debate in the chamber because of the objection to Arizona's electoral votes.

Through the doors, a group of older men can be seen in the lobby just before the rioters started trying to knock the doors down.

The police were obligated to protect the people inside the lobby.

The shooting of Babbitt stopped the attack at the lobby door.

 

Unfortunately, its not the strong point of a clear majority of Americans.

 

What I find ironic is that the hillbillies who took selfies in the Capitol were using phones made in China.

 

The irony is their population is imploding faster than any other on the planet, and a civil war would decimate them. As it is, their population will become a minority within twenty years. Forget about abortion, they have the highest abortion rates of anyone, and the invention of modern contraceptives is destroying their way of life. The more advanced our technology becomes, the more stupid they become, and the faster their population implodes, while their teachers urge them to vote in rigged elections and work harder.

Man with painted face and ‘horns’ hat taken into custody after US Capitol mayhem

An Arizona man who was allegedly photographed wearing a costume with a painted face and a fur hat topped by horns during last week's mayhem at the US Capitol building has been taken into custody, officials said.

Jacob Anthony Chansley, more commonly known as Jake Angeli or 'QAnon Shaman', had become a staple in his costume at rallies in favour of Donald Trump protests across the country.

He is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds in Washington, DC.

Chansley is among dozens of people arrested in the wake of the Capitol invasion by a large mob of supporters enraged over Mr Trump's election loss who forced legislators to halt their voting to affirm president-elect Joe Biden's victory and go into hiding for hours.

Separately, the man allegedly photographed grinning as he carried away US house speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern has also been charged following the rioting that left five people dead.

Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida, was arrested on Friday night on a federal warrant and is being held without bail in Pinellas County, Florida, according to jail records.


Johnson is a married father-of-five who was quickly identified on social media by local residents as the man in a photo smiling as he walked through the Capitol rotunda carrying Ms Pelosi's lectern, The Bradenton Herald reported.

He was charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, one count of theft of government property and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Before being deleted or taken down, Johnson posted on social media that he was in Washington, DC, during Wednesday's riot. His content included disparaging comments about the Black Lives Matter movement, according to The Bradenton Herald.

The rioters took over the house and senate chambers and smashed windows on Wednesday. Some waved Confederate flags.

By Saturday, prosecutors had filed 17 cases in federal district court and 40 others in the District of Columbia Superior Court for a variety of offences, ranging from assaulting police officers to entering restricted areas of the US Capitol, stealing federal property and threatening members of congress.

Prosecutors said additional cases remained under seal, dozens of other people were being sought by federal agents and the US attorney in Washington vowed that "all options were on the table" for charges, including possibly sedition.

 

That's the best news to come out of the riot yet, if they go for it, and decide to save what dignity we have left, this could be fun!

So far 83 suspects have been arrested, but many more arrests are expected in the coming days.

Two Seattle police officers were in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to participate in the riot and are expected to be fire.

I'd like to know how many more police officers were there from other departments from around the country, but so far have not been identified.
