On Dec. 23, 2020, the hashtag #pencecard started trending on Twitter as social media users urged U.S. Vice President Mike Pence to use the power they claimed he had to reject the results of the 2020 presidential election. 3 USC 12 says that if a state fails to deliver a certification of vote to the vice president or the archivist of the United States by the fourth Wednesday of December, that person shall request that the state’s secretary of state provide these certifications in an expeditious manner. This provision does not, however, grant the vice president the power to reject votes that were certified by the states. So things are falling into place for Biden to be confirmed as President on January 6.

Patriots Hah! The world judges democracies by the use of elections to select leaders. By any standard the 2020 election was free and untainted. During normal times (pre-trump) it wouldn't be necessary but during these crazy times, a ten foot wall topped off with barbed or razor wire along with
armed guards carrying assault rifles would not seem like overkill.

Cruz even said it won't work, but it appears he put his political ambitions over that of the constitution and over the future integrity of the US election system.

Cruz was spewing rhetoric long before Trump was even in the picture. I distinctly remember Trump talked shit about Cruz’ wife- which should have warranted an on-stage beatdown on national television.
