Ooooooo. The Cruz announcement. What a spineless piece of worm dung he is--a traitor, and (according to Trump)! a chip off the old block! (with an ugly wife) Eleven traitors back a statement that refuses to accept the reality of Trump's defeat. This after nearly sixty court cases including two SCOTUS decisions have found that there is no there there. These "senators" say that a new commission needs to"audit" the matter. No doubt, if that should happen, they'd want another commission to investigate that one: keep on investigating until it turns out right (as in right-wing). The latest defeat came last Friday when a Trump appointed district judge rejected a lawsuit brought by congressmen to give Pence substantive powers to nullify electoral votes. After which Rep. Louis Gohmert became unhinged and called for violence in the streets. LAW AND ORDER! The last-ditch congressional effort of Cruz and his fellow traitors to reject the electoral votes of some states (other than their own) was accompanied by an explanation that this must be done because of "unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations and lax enforcement of election law". They got that right. The objections raised by Cruz, Gohmert and their fellow Retrumplicans with no substantial evidence to support them are certainly unprecedented. These are traitors to our democracy, just like their supporters, whether they wear phony Uncle Sam hats, MAGA hats, or whatever!
If Donald Duck keeps this up, congress will have no choice but to declare the Tea Party traitors. They may wait for the judges to confirm, but then they will round up all of his cohorts as traitors, and throw the Tea Party into the Boston harbor. Take your pick, civil war or Professional Wrestling, but it will destroy business as usual.
Facebook fucked up by leaving a loophole Republican Senators Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas have both recently run online ads soliciting funds for the GOP candidates in Georgia's upcoming special runoff election for the U.S. Senate. However, a portion of the donations have gone into their personal campaign committees. While McConnell and Cruz's ads have asked donors to give funds to help Republican Georgia Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Purdue, the fine print at the bottom of the linked donation pages shows that some of the funds go towards their own campaign committees as well, according to a recent report. Question: Do any of these people have any sense of moral decency?
How is this for irony; Right now Ted Cruz is in Georgia campaigning with Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler while pocketing millions of dollars online to supposedly help her win re-election, and not only is she going along with this charade, she encourages it.
This is in reality political grandstanding for 2024. Cruz, et al, are jockeying for a position as a Republican Party leader. While these assholes profess their love of trump, they secretly hope he disappears. What would be ironic is if in the next four years the Republican Party returns to some normality, and some moderate, Nikki Haley maybe, becomes the nominee. I think Rafael Cruz realizes that his political future is tenuous. He is up for re-election in 2024. With the changing demographics of Texas, he may have a short political career. Btw, does anyone really think Rafael would have been the party nominee, if trump had not entered the contest, in 2016, let alone beaten Hillary?
Forty years of extensive studies concluded the republican party organizes along the lines of a flock of chickens. They have a very strong sense of moral values, and studies have shown they apply their morality to others in a very thoughtful and deliberate manner, but don't apply their own moral standards to themselves. Its a chicken thing. Do as I say, not as I do.
As Biden reflects on Nashville bombing, Trump says nothing Biden acknowledged the bombing, assured the public, thanked first responders, and extended support to the community shaken by the incident. Trump didn't. By Steve Benen Dec. 29, 2020, 11:05 AM EST As Biden reflects on Nashville bombing, Trump says nothing excerpt: "The president-elect went on to thank the local first responders -- including police officers and fire fighters -- for their 'bravery and cool-headedness," which "likely saved lives and prevented a worse outcome." Biden concluded, "I know the hearts of all Americans are with the people of Nashville as they rebuild and recover from this traumatic event." To be sure, there was nothing especially extraordinary about these comments. Biden simply did what we'd expect a president to do: acknowledge the bombing, assure the public, thank first responders, and extend support to the community shaken by the incident. The trouble, however, is that Biden won't be president for a few more weeks. The current president, meanwhile, has said nothing about the bombing. As the Washington Post noted, the White House issued a brief statement on Friday, noting that Donald Trump had been briefed on the bombing and thanking first-responders, but that was it."
Ted Cruz is stupid. He got laughed out of the Supreme Court just last month. Pencil Dick Hawley is twice as stupid. Louis Gomert is not human. He's a monkey with a shaved head.
Speaking of the Nashville bomber, whazup with that? Seems to have been a believer in 5G and infiltration of our government by lizard people from outer space. Just yer average American nutjob. Cruz leads 11 GOP senators challenging Biden win over Trump excerpt: "To ward off a dramatic unraveling, McConnell convened a conference call with Republican senators Thursday specifically to address the coming joint session and logistics of tallying the vote, according to several Republicans granted anonymity to discuss the private call. The Republican leader pointedly called on Hawley to answer questions about his challenge to Biden’s victory, according to two of the Republicans. But there was no response because Hawley was a no-show, the Republicans said. Hawley’s office said he sent an email afterward to his colleagues explaining his views. In the email, Hawley said constituents back home are “angry and disillusioned” with the outcome of the election. McConnell had previously warned GOP senators not to participate in raising objections, saying it would be a terrible vote for colleagues. In essence, lawmakers would be forced to choose between the will of the outgoing president and that of the voters."
While I agree with you, we have to remember that these fools didn’t elect themselves. It’s a sad state of affairs when we have a segment of society who voted for them. It just proves that there are a lot of dumb people in the world’s “most powerful” country.
