In spite of many such ignorant statements by him and 346,000 American coronavirus deaths that his irresponsible behavior exacerbated and that he ignores, Trump still managed to be Gallup's most admired person in 2020.

Because it would have been 500,000+ had it not been for the early implementation of the China travel ban Trump instigated

"“So what I did a little while ago, I took a trip up there to the North Pole. I went there and I vaccinated Santa Claus myself. I measured his level of immunity, and he is good to go. He can come down the chimney. He can leave the presents, he can leave, and you have nothing to worry about. Santa Claus is good to go.”

Forensic accounting firm hired for investigation of Trump finances.

N.Y. prosecutor hires forensic accounting firm as probe of Trump escalates

    excerpt:

"NEW YORK – The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has retained forensic accounting specialists to aid its criminal investigation of President Donald Trump and his business operations, as prosecutors ramp up their scrutiny of his company’s real estate transactions, according to people familiar with the matter.

District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. opened the investigation in 2018 to examine alleged hush-money payments made to two women who, during Trump’s first presidential campaign, claimed to have had affairs with him years earlier. The probe has since expanded, and now includes the Trump Organization’s activities more broadly, said the people familiar with the matter. Vance’s office has suggested in court filings that bank, tax and insurance fraud are areas of exploration."

I started listening to him back in 1995 or 96 when KHNC Radio out of Johnstown Colorado used to put him on the air daily. I was driving an OTR truck and listened while driving. He did sound normal and much like all other guys there in the cattle country. What he said about Waco and 911 started to sound extreme later on. Early on he demonstrated compassion toward the people of Iraq and Palestine and Native Americans. He seemed normal to me. KHNC was owned by Don Weideman back them. He was a Messianic Jew and very much pro Israel. The big guy on the air for them was Dr. Norm Resnick. So, that says the Jewish owner/manager of that radio station were not offended by Alex Jones back in them days. After Don passed away, the station was taken over by a Messianic convert. That man changed his name to Michael Golden and as far as I know he still owns that radio station. He still has Alex Jones on everyday. Alex Jones has a huge following in Colorado and Wyoming. I feel that he started to change toward extremism back between Sandy Hook and 911but got worse a short time before Trump started working on the takeover of the Republican party. The clues that I noticed were on the air participation by Jerome Corsi and Roger Stone in INFOWARS. Corsi's INFOWARS articles started much earlier than that. I heard them speak with Alex Jones on the air not long before the Republican primary in 2016 and they did talk about getting Julian Assange to release hacked/stolen emails to push Trump over the top. As I said, I started listening to Alex when he was still a teenager.

That would explain why he was repeatedly dropped on his head in rapid succession.... forcefully.

I am hearing rumors of voter fraud in Kentucky. One report says that McConnell got 4000 votes in a county of 1500 people.

Make sense because I only got the crazy version of Alex Jones, after I was first introduced to him when he was a guest on the Opie and Anthony show back in 2010

Trump's legal people said that votes were stolen from Biden and given to Trump.

BUSTED? Why the numbers behind Mitch McConnell's re-election don't add up

    excerpt:

"In a Dec. 4 filing in Georgia, Trump's legal team referred to a “machine-controlled algorithm deliberately run" by a voting machine vendor, Dominion Voting Systems. They allege this algorithm “generally took more than 2.5% of the votes from Mr. Biden and flipped them to Mr. Trump." So Trump's own legal team, instead of providing evidence of fraud by Biden's side, may have inadvertently revealed fraud benefiting Trump. In describing a deliberate, vendor installed, machine-controlled algorithm automatically taking a percentage of Biden's votes and giving them to Trump, they certainly are outlining how fraud could have been executed."

Trump has been a divining rod of misery in the nauseating, demented, bigoted, violent, and deadly year of 2020.

At first he really did sound like he was one who cared about average people and about minorities (including me) and he was nice to callers on his show. I met him and some in his close circle. I went to his first studio which was in a small steel building. I wrote to him a few times after 911, because I did believe there was some Shenanigans going on there. Today, I think he has been steered by his inner circle of associates and by an audience which has become more White Supremacist-like and more extreme and more angry. It's sad but I did observe Alex change.

Josh Hawley is now objecting to Biden's confirmation just to force a vote.
