A quarter of Americans still insist the sun revolves around the earth, and over 40% insist our glorious leader should be above the law altogether, and allowed to commit high crimes and treason, and the idea anybody gives a crap about what they do anymore is a joke in bad taste. With any luck, Donald Duck will encourage them to declare war on the Pentagon.

LOL, conservatives couldn't find their own ass with both hands if they tried. I've talked to them, and their only solution is to "Vote the Bums Out of Office!" The concept of cooperative government, or even sharing their candy, is anthema.

 

That's not a victory for Donald Duck, but for the all mighty American dollar. US currency is so powerful now, it buys the supreme court and rigged elections. Donald Duck will never see the inside of a jail, nor will his head be cut off and fed to the wolves, because he is the very symbol of wealth and power, and its best to just never go there.

 

This does put the republicants in a quandary. How will Mitch spin it?

I don’t believe this was an attack by Earth First. I would chalk it up to White supremacists.
Earth First has not been active in years, and didn’t know they were still around.

Note: Back in the 70s, and 80s I was a supporter of Earth First, but didn’t always agree with their tactics.

McConnell signaled he would package the increased stimulus checks and tie it to a bill focused on repealing Section 230 and election reforms.

McConnell is being obedient to Trump and his desire to abolish Section 230. Or he is simply making it appear that way.

Trying to quickly abolish Section 230 using the stimulus spending bill or the military spending bill is farfetched.

Section 230 is a distinct issue not related to spending bills. Abolishing or limiting it has major ramifications. It needs to be addressed carefully by Congress, not capriciously by holding spending bills hostage.

In short, McConnell shot down the $2,000 checks.
