pardoning these people may backfire on trump. If these people are called to testify in any civil, or state criminal case against trump they might not have the protection of the 5th amendment.

That's not good, not good at all. Donald Duck was elected, in part, because the chickens will believe anything you repeat often enough, and they spread the rumor at the last second that Hillary was being investigated. Some asshole in the justice department decided it was a good idea to start an investigation of Hillary, just two weeks before the election. Twitter knows damned well they can easily stomp Fox News into the dirt, and swing public opinion on a dime. The entire mass media could start jockeying for position and this could get very ugly fast. Politics are impossible when a quarter of your population insists the sun revolves around the earth, and the real issue is when will the idiots explode!

 

I think you are right. I'm old and have dementia starting but some brain cells still work. I can remember the old information but have trouble with short term stuff.
