Republicans in PA and GA in particular are frustrated about the affects of absentee voting that they implemented and thought would help them. The Republican legislature in PA passed absentee voting legislation nearly unanimously. Now they are being sore losers.

How real is the threat of prosecution for Donald Trump post-presidency?

    excerpt:

"In one of the starkest of those incidents, Trump tried to scupper the special counsel inquiry itself by ordering his White House counsel, Don McGahn, to fire Mueller. When that became public he compounded the abuse by ordering McGahn to deny the truth in an attempt at cover-up.

Weissmann, who played a key role in gathering the evidence against Trump in the Mueller report, said that such obstruction goes to the heart of why Trump should face prosecution.

“When the president, no matter who it is, obstructs a special counsel investigation there have to be consequences. If you can obstruct an investigation criminally but you don’t have to worry about ever being prosecuted, well then, there’s no point in ever appointing a special counsel.”"

One of Trump's tenets of his 2016 campaign was railing against the elitism and cronyism in DC.

After the 2020 election, Trump had Shirkey and Chatfield of MI at the White House to discuss attempts to overthrow a legitimate election under the guise that they were invited to discuss coronavirus relief.

Shirkey and Chatfield were seen drinking wine that costs hundreds of dollars a bottle at Trump's hotel in DC later that evening.

It's the epitomy of elitism and cronyism.

Chatfield was so proud of it that he changed his social media pic to an image that showed his name and face projected onto the Trump hotel in DC.

The Republican heroes and villains of Trump's attempt to steal the election

The Republican heroes and villains of Trump's attempt to steal the election

    excerpt:

    "Mike Shirkey and Lee Chatfield

Republican leaders of the Michigan state senate and house who accepted an invitation to visit Trump at the White House as the president tried to prevent the state from certifying Biden’s 82,000-vote win. In the Oval Office, Shirkey and Chatfield received a telephone briefing by Rudy Giuliani about fake election fraud. They later lied and said the meeting with Trump was about Covid-19 economic relief. They were photographed drinking Dom Pérignon at Trump’s hotel in Washington DC after their meeting."

    A Christmas message from Trump.

The presidential election was supposedly stolen from him in an election selectively rigged against him but not others.

Trump supposedly saved Mitch McConnell and others from losing in an election that wasn't rigged.

Donald Trump Christmas Eve tweets attack Mitch McConnell, stimulus, Twitter

    excerpt:

"At a meeting in Florida today, everyone was asking why aren't the Republicans up in arms & fighting over the fact that the Democrats stole the rigged presidential election?" Trump tweeted after a visit to his Palm Beach golf club.

He name-checked McConnell, the Senate majority leader, in another tweet.

"I saved at least 8 Republican Senators, including Mitch, from losing in the last Rigged (for President) Election. Now they (almost all) sit back and watch me fight against a crooked and vicious foe, the Radical Left Democrats. I will NEVER FORGET!" Trump wrote.

Graham is saying that Trump would sign both the military spending bill and the coronavirus general spending bill if Section 230 is eliminated.

It's a far-fetched contingency. Section 230 has little to do with military spending or a general spending bill. Trump tried to tie Section 230 to military spending by saying it has national security implications. Few in Congress agree with him. It's an issue that needs to be addressed in separate legislation.

Trump would sign stimulus and defense bills if Section 230 is repealed says Lindsey Graham

Anger at Congress, Trump mounts among governors

    excerpt:

"Governors facing the prospect of hundreds of thousands of their constituents losing out on badly needed relief during the coronavirus pandemic grew increasingly frustrated as Congress dragged its feet on a legislative package, and many became downright apoplectic after President Trump this week blew up delicate negotiations by saying he was not happy with a bill in which he previously paid little interest.

In interviews Wednesday and Thursday, top advisers to both Democratic and Republican governors said that anger at the lack of a coordinated federal response to combat the pandemic had reached a boiling point during negotiations over a relief package.

“Honestly I’ve never been so disgusted with Congress,” said a chief of staff to one Democratic governor. “We’ve been pulling our hair out for months. The federal government has not made a single step of the process of dealing with this pandemic easier. Not one single step.”

The chief of staff, like others interviewed for this story, asked for anonymity to avoid angering both the Trump administration and Senate Republicans, who have said they will not consider new aid to state and local governments in future relief packages."

trump can’t have it both ways. If the presidential election was rigged then so were the contests for the House, and Senate.

There has been a big explosion in downtown Nashville and the police are saying it's intentional. An RV was loaded with explosives and was detonated when the responders were on the way. 3 people were hurt. The first cop on the scene said it did look suspicious and called for help. It reminded me of Oklahoma City and Tim McVeigh. It very likely is a foreshadowing of things to come from Trump's supporters. Trump did say January 6th when Congress is to confirm the election would be a "Wild Day" according to his predictions.
