It's obvious at this time that if trump were to say--"get your guns, hit the streets and start shooting at anything that moves"------there are a certain amount of stupid, racist, low information cult members that would do just that. And republican legislators--the chickenshit ,cowardly, delusional , anti democracy, anti american stooges that they are---would back him to the hilt!! It is soooooo important to get those two Georgia seats into the democrats column in January or this country will be run by Mitch McConnell for the the next four years, guaranteed!! There are many, many, many areas to fix throughout the government, that trump and his suck-ass lackeys have all but destroyed. We're almost " out of the woods" on this destructive pricks reign of destroying the country--let's hope he gets --finally--WHAT HE DESERVES.

‘We want them infected’: Trump appointee demanded ‘herd immunity’ strategy, emails reveal

‘We want them infected’: Trump appointee demanded ‘herd immunity’ strategy, emails reveal

    excerpt:

"A top Trump appointee repeatedly urged top health officials to adopt a "herd immunity" approach to Covid-19 and allow millions of Americans to be infected by the virus, according to internal emails obtained by a House watchdog and shared with POLITICO.

“There is no other way, we need to establish herd, and it only comes about allowing the non-high risk groups expose themselves to the virus. PERIOD," then-science adviser Paul Alexander wrote on July 4 to his boss, Health and Human Services assistant secretary for public affairs Michael Caputo, and six other senior officials.

"Infants, kids, teens, young people, young adults, middle aged with no conditions etc. have zero to little risk….so we use them to develop herd…we want them infected…" Alexander added.

"It may be that it will be best if we open up and flood the zone and let the kids and young folk get infected" in order to get "natural immunity…natural exposure," Alexander wrote on July 24 to Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn, Caputo and eight other senior officials. Caputo subsequently asked Alexander to research the idea, according to emails obtained by the House Oversight Committee's select subcommittee on coronavirus."

Trump pardon requests pour in during final weeks: 'It's turned crazy' - CNNPolitics

    excerpts:

"The Electoral College's affirmation of President-elect Joe Biden's win this week did not appear enough to shake Trump from his delusions of victory, but it is adding urgency to a push by several of his advisers to gently steer Trump toward reality. Several of his closest allies have urged him to move on from his efforts to contest the election and begin planning his post-White House political future -- including a potential 2024 run.

Yet even amid the intractable movement of the transition and the hurried lame-duck activity -- some of which he is participating in himself -- Trump is steadfastly refusing to acknowledge that he lost."

"In his moments of deepest denial, Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge. The possibility has alarmed some aides, but few believe Trump will actually follow through.

"He's throwing a f***ing temper tantrum," an adviser said. "He's going to leave. He's just lashing out.""

After all of those mask-less parties Pompeo has been holding, it's no wonder he's been exposed to someone with covid-19.
But at least they're not all idiots in the state department because he invited 900 people last night and only 70 showed up.

Pompeo in quarantine after COVID exposure

It's unclear when he was exposed, but his agency has hosted holiday receptions.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in quarantine after being exposed to someone who tested positive for coronavirus, according to a State Department spokesperson.

It's unclear when or where the top U.S. diplomat was exposed or by whom, a detail the State Department said it won't confirm for privacy reasons. But he has tested negative and remains under monitoring by the department's medical team, the spokesperson said.

Report: President Trump's neighbors try to keep him from moving into Mar-a-Lago

    excerpt:

"When President Trump leaves office in January, he’s expected to return to Mar-a-Lago. The club has been his primary residence since he officially moved to Florida in 2019.

Trump purchased Mar-a-Lago in 1985. An 118-room mansion, once gifted to the federal government as a Winter White House and later returned, Trump had numerous public spats with the Town of Palm Beach after purchasing the property.

Eventually, in 1993, he requested to turn Mar-a-Lago into a private club. It was during that approval process where his then-lawyer Paul Rampell agreed to restrictions that prevented extended stays at Mar-a-Lago. The agreement between Trump and the town was signed in August 1993, according to a printout of the document obtained by Politico."

Fewer than 70 of 900 invited guests showed up to Mike Pompeo's State Department Christmas party | Daily Mail Online

    excerpt:

"The announcement meant he did not go to the White House for a cabinet meeting held by Donald Trump, and came the morning after he failed to turn up for his own Christmas party.

Fewer than 70 people showed up to the indoor Christmas party after Pompeo invited 900 people.

The event, hosted by the Secretary of State and his wife Susan at the State Department, was avoided by the majority of invitees after the celebrations prompted an outcry from public health officials."

An eerie image from a prominent Chinese artist showing a futuristic Communist Party controlled New York is going viral amid rising nationalism and widespread belief that the Asian superpower is on course to power past its Western rival.

It is one of a series of digital illustrations by artist Fan Wennan showing how the world may look in 2098 if the world turns its back on the United States.

It shows tourists wandering through Manhattan with buildings draped in the hammer-and-sickle flags of the “People’s Union of America”

Deadliest place in America: They shrugged off the pandemic, then their family and friends started dying
    Trevor Hughes, USA TODAY
    Published 3:01 a.m. ET Dec. 12, 2020 | Updated 10:29 a.m. ET Dec. 12, 2020

COVID deaths highest in US in rural Republican-leaning Kansas county

    excerpt:

"He's always been the rock for our family— Biblically and overall," she says. "You think he’s just a retired old guy who goes fishing and drinks coffee and doesn’t do anything but in reality he was still out there touching lives."

As McElhaney's condition worsened, doctors decided he'd have a better chance of survival at the bigger regional hospital in Hays, Kansas, 54 miles east along Interstate 70. Working with other EMTs, Nicholson loaded him into "Big Red," an ambulance designed to keep the virus from reaching the driver's compartment.

"She told him she promised him pie when he got better," Charles says. "He just thought that if he went on the ventilator, he'd never come off. And ultimately that's what happened.""

Republican incumbent U.S. Senate candidate Perdue won by about 1.8% in the 2020 election in Georgia.

Republican incumbent U.S. Senate candidate Loeffler lost by 7%.

Trump's delusional perception of rampant fraud in the election system has sowed seeds of doubt in Republican voters. Former Trump 'elite strike force' attorney Sidney Powell has called for a boycott of the Georgia runoff election.

Early voting in Georgia for the runoff election started during the heat of Trump's accusations of voter fraud. Trump's self-inflicted damage to the runoff elections may have already been done.

The behavior of Trump could damage Purdue's 1.8% win margin, giving Democrats control of the Senate in 2021. Trump's election loss in itself could cause less turnout for Perdue.

Perdue losing could precipitate an intense post-election fraud accusation fight in Georgia.

Trump administration to withhold Medicaid funding from California over abortion insurance requirement
    By Kathryn Watson
    December 16, 2020 / 6:09 PM / CBS News

Trump administration to withhold Medicaid funding from California over abortion insurance requirement

    excerpt:

"The Trump administration will withhold $200 million in Medicaid funding from California in the first quarter of 2021 over the state's mandate that health insurance providers include coverage for elective abortion, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced on Wednesday.

An additional $200 million in funding will be withheld for each quarter in which the state continues with that policy, said Azar, failing to recognize that the Trump administration ends on January 20. HHS' Office for Civil Rights had previously issued a violation notice to California over its requirement that all insurance plans cover elective abortions, and threatened to cut funding. The Trump administration maintains that California does not have the constitutional right to make such a requirement."
