Truthers are known to resort to this type of claim.

After exhausting all possible failed explanations, they claim that an entity engaged in nefarious behavior in such a clever manner that no one will ever be able to prove that it did it.

Which is usually the case when there is no fraud.

Now that they have absolved themselves of having to actually prove fraud, team Trump members have to prove that officials set up a diabolical election system that was so clever at evading detection of fraud that no one will ever be able to prove the alleged fraud.

So, if there was no fraud to begin with... and team Trump is now saying they can't prove there was fraud... Would these fucking morons just shut the fuck up, already.

The issuance of a federal subpoena on a state agency, and especially involving the state’s top attorney, is a highly unusual move that likely would have required higher level approval from the U.S. Justice Department. Barr getting back at trump?

'Stop The Steal' should be the slogan for groups trying to stop Trump from overturning the results of a fair and legal election.

Opinion: Trump's alarming war on democracy - CNN

    excerpt:

"Meanwhile, Trump backers in the House intend to raise objections to the Electoral College vote during what is typically a rubber stamp meeting to affirm the results of the election. The process would be complicated, however, since objections would have to be raised by lawmakers from both the House and Senate (So far, Sens. Rand Paul and Ron Johnson have said they are open to that option). Regardless of whether members of both chambers play along, it's clear we are entering uncharted territory.

All of these are starkly antidemocratic moves. By making baseless claims about voter fraud, Trump is trying to cast his fight against the election results as a noble effort to bolster democracy. In reality, Trump is ignoring the mandate of the American people in a desperate attempt to keep his grip on power. Abusing the system and finding loopholes to stay in power is what all dictators do."

Has No Presidential Candidate ‘Won Iowa, Florida and Ohio’ and Still Lost?
U.S. President Donald Trump demonstrated in December 2020 that one can move the goal posts and still lose the argument.
    David Mikkelson
    Published 10 December 2020

Has No Presidential Candidate ‘Won Iowa, Florida and Ohio' and Still Lost?

    excerpt:

"As we pointed out in an article at the time, Trump was wrong. Precedent did exist for a candidate’s losing an election while winning both Florida and Ohio, namely Richard Nixon in 1960, who — despite capturing those two key states — was defeated by Democratic candidate John F. Kennedy.

The following day, Trump doubled down on his erroneous claim, moving the goal posts by this time asserting that no previous presidential candidate had won the states of Ohio, Florida, and Iowa and “even come close to losing an election” — as Trump himself did in 2020:"

Trump was trying to make it sound like it was impossible for a presidential candidate to lose the election while winning Iowa, Ohio, and Florida.

His intent was to make it seem like fraud had occurred in other states that caused him a supposed impossible loss.

It happened before with Nixon in 1960.

Even if it hadn't happened before, it's not proof of election fraud.

Trump is making a list and checking it twice.

Every Republican in Congress May Have to Vote on Trump’s Coup
    Ed Kilgore

Every Republican in Congress May Have to Vote on Trump’s Coup

    excerpt"

"That won’t happen, if only because the Democratic-controlled House isn’t going to support Brooks’s effort to overturn the election. But it would force each and every Republican member of Congress to go on record supporting or opposing Trump’s coup, in the ultimate loyalty test just before the 45th president leaves office, shrieking and whining the whole way. They all know Trump’s refusal to accept defeat is childish and dangerous, but will they have the courage to deny him one final gesture of fealty? I wouldn’t be so sure about it. But if they do succumb in large numbers to this last temptation, their party will for years bear the stain of so outrageous and authoritarian a measure, as bright and red as the biblical Mark of the Beast."

Being able to say 'Merry Christmas' again after it was supposedly banned and resurrected by Trump is the fantasy that matters to him during the holiday season. He is squandering his time on his futile quest to overthrow a valid election as the pandemic rages.

Trump could be spending time with Congress to pass a new relief package. Instead, he's calling members of Congress and making a list of all the Republicans who support his election overthrow effort. It's the ultimate tally of who is loyal to him as he exits the White House.

COVID relief negotiations continue as deaths, unemployment claims spike

    excerpt:

"After passing the CARES Act in March, the federal government has essentially abandoned direct assistance to individual Americans. Moody’s Analytics projected that nearly 12 million renters will owe an average of $5,850 in back rent and utilities by January, as a federal eviction moratorium is set to expire, potentially leaving millions at risk of losing their homes. Hunger is rising, as census data found that 1 in 8 Americans reported running short of food during a single week in November, with food banks besieged in advance of the holidays and the Washington Post reporting a rise in the shoplifting of food and hygiene products. November’s job numbers were the worst since the recovery started, and small businesses around the country continue to shutter."

Trump is on the warpath, again

As Donald Trump’s presidency winds down, his administration is ratcheting up the pace of federal executions, announcing plans for five starting Thursday
and concluding just days before the 20 January inauguration of the president-elect, Joe Biden.

If the five go off as planned, it will make 13 executions since July when the Republican administration resumed putting inmates
to death after a 17-year hiatus and will cement Trump’s legacy as the most prolific execution president in over 130 years

$500,000,000.00 mystery loan given to Kushner & family by Qatar is under investigation. Mystery co-signor for Deutsche Bank loans made to Trump is under investigation by Manhattan DA who interviewed Deutsche Bank employees and some brokers as criminal charges are being prepared. Michael Cohen's old cell is being fitted with some new -none gilded- bed sheets for a fat man.

That's exactly what I say. Trump has been pushing the envelope so our Democrats should start doing the same in 40n days, right after Cyrus Vance has Trump & cronies arrested.
