I agree on Texas. We do need the Spanish and Black voters to step up. Texas also has a big Arab and Muslim population, but they tend to be self employed and vote "pro-business" and likely supported Republicans. They need to be educated after Trump's screw job in the Middle East. If I haven't accomplished any thing else in the last 5 years, I want people to know that if this nation will not hold Trump and the Republicans to account after January 20th then it will be taken as a license to abuse the system again. People should write letters to Biden when he moves into a sanitized with Lysol White House and demand that he has the new AG prosecute Trump and the other Republican cronies.
Trump got kicked out of court again in Nevada this morning. What does that make? 53 court cases lost by the ignorant Trump team? Is there an Edison County in Nevada, Baconator?
That's the way Republicans work. They can be very vindictive. We Democrats need to start firing Republicans were we can and where they hold public office.
Wrong. Where did you get your law degree? Trump u? It’s telling that by you posting alot, you are worried.
The Michigan AG said that Texas can’t dictate how other states set up voting regulations. Texas has no standing. Like hotwater said, Paxton is being investigated by the feds.
Hey, you're giving him way too much credit. I doubt that he's finished high school. Wouldn't know a subpoena ad testificandum from a subpoena duces tecum!
The second person to get vaccinated was an 81 year old man, William Shakespeare. See, dead people do get vaccinated. He was also seen in Nevada, on November 3rd, voting for Hamlet.
He’ll disappear, and if his history on hf is an indication, he won’t show up for another eleven years.
Will a vaccine give us our old lives back? By the Visual Journalism Team 4 December 2020 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-b6360f40-84f9-469b-b6a3-a4568e161c4f excerpt: "Despite the scientific and practical challenges of delivering an effective vaccine accross the UK and also the world, the good news is that it looks likely the first-generation vaccines will have a significant impact on the global battle against Covid-19. In the short term they will help prevent the most vulnerable in our communities from developing severe disease and dying, especially older people with pre-existing conditions and front-line health workers. Pfizer/BioNTech's announcement that their vaccine appears to protect 94% of adults over 65 years old is an important boost to this work. The bad news is that it could well take months or possibly years to vaccinate enough of the global population to make the whole interconnected world safe and reach a point where we can all return to full normal."
DeSantis tells Trump to 'fight on,' takes aim at science and has beef with John Roberts excerpt: "DeSantis also took shots at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for its “ridiculous” studies on the Covid-19 outbreak, which he said were more about "affirming" the positions of “bureaucrats” than science. He questioned the need for contract tracing, saying most people are either infected in their homes or medical authorities can’t figure out the source of infections. People can engage in most outdoor activities, including sports, because the virus doesn’t spread at such events, DeSantis told the group. He insisted that Trump's huge rallies did not contribute to the spread of Covid-19, countering a Stanford University study released in late October that traced 30,000 cases and hundreds of deaths to Trump rallies."
The GOP couldn't find a place in NY for its gala due to coronavirus safety guidelines. It sneaked into a place in NJ. Matt Gaetz hits back after NJ's Dem governor says he's 'not welcome' in state excerpt: "That guy in the middle, the tall, handsome fella in the gray suit, that is Representative Matt Putz - oh sorry, Matt Gaetz, and based upon his past performances, it is obvious being a knucklehead is not beyond the pale for him," Murphy said during the news conference, New York City's WNBC-TV reported. "He was actually Sarah Palin's backup act for this event." "I hope you're watching, Matt. You are not welcome in New Jersey, and frankly I don't ever want you back in this state," he added. Murphy then reiterated his criticisms in a tweet and said, “Last night, the [New York City Young Republicans] allegedly snuck into Jersey City to hold a “gala fundraiser” – ignoring our social distancing and mask rules.” “It is beyond the pale that anyone would willingly endanger people in another state,” he added. “Jersey City law enforcement is investigating this matter.”
Trump has threatened to veto the military spending bill if Section 230 isn't abolished because he's frustrated that #DiaperDon was a top trending tweet. He's also demanding that Confederate names be allowed to remain on military entities. House Passes Defense Bill Overwhelmingly, Defying Trump’s Veto Threat
Trump has picked up the ball from Paxton and that hare brained idea. He just said he will intervene, what ever that means?
I have said many times in the last four years that Pence wants to revive the confederacy. It looks like he and McConnell have recruited Trump to be their token Yankee on board with their idea, huh?
