Since you brought up one of my favorite points of interest (Ross Perot) I can give you some personal examples of manufacturing jobs leaving the us 1 of which WERE highly specialized items bought by a relatively small segment of the public. Bass Pro Shops (Owned by Johnny Morris (businessman) - Wikipedia) I used to EXCLUSIVELY buy gear from BPS as it was quality gear MADE IN THE US ( I actually still have a few UNCLE BUCKS spinnerbaits stamped MADE IN THE US) now its all made in china and its SHIT. I used quite a bit of gear as I was a tournament bass fisherman so I needed good stuff that lasted. Now I buy NOTHING from BPS. Right around the time Ross made his presidential bid my wife and I made a conscious decision to quit buying stuff "made in china" In 2000 when we bought our first house we needed a microwave we found a Sharp that was indeed "made in the us" In 2016 we needed a new microwave alas we were unable to find one that was NOT "made in china" We still look at the label of EVERY SINGLE item we buy if its says "made in china" chances are we do without, in some cases its just IMPOSSIBLE to buy not made in china anything to do with phones and computers is just about a lost cause unfortunately
Anyway, today brought interesting news! Didn't Blimpo predict the market would crash if he lost the election?
Let me summarise 2016 to 2020 then: Cut the corporate tax rate -> full employment -> then covid happened And none of these Covid measures were going to work in the long run, as the world is finding out now, a record again, 11,720 deaths yesterday
Except your cause and effect are completely WRONG the dow has been on the rise since BEFORE the election....and just to placate your sorry whiny ass trump also caused it to go pretty low , so to summarize Stock Market Performance by President | MacroTrends Stock market: Dow Jones falls to 2017 level before Trump took office - Vox from 3/18 with MASSIVE liberal bias reporting Dow Jones up 49% in first 3 years of Donald Trump; how this ranks vs. Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter - cleveland.com The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 49% during Donald Trump’s first three years in office, topping the gains made during Barack Obama’s entire final term but falling short to-date of how much the Dow went up during Obama’s first term.
Cmon even a broken clock is right twice a day jeez...ascribing trump with powers of prognostication is a stretch dont you think.......... I always took trumps statement as a threat not a prediction anyway but whatever the dow marches on
Obama fixed the economy after Bush fucked it up. Trump claimed credit for Obama's effort. Trump again claimed credit because the stock market went up above 30K. Stupid Republicans can't seem to understand the market went up because President elect Biden nominated Janet Yellen to head treasury. Trump lost because we the American People voted for Big Joe Biden. I'm ah ridin' with Biden.
I knew Id get something like that from you. None of that is going to be of much importance in the grand scheme of things You said: "No President in history has deliberately inflicted so much damage on our country" Then I asked: "So what damage did he inflict on your country, give me the top 5 things quickly on point form, from most important to least important" To which you give me a number 1 like this, and extremely vague, intentionally so: "1. Trump has sown more division and discord than any President in history. " I ask you to give a response and that's the best you can give He was supposed to be the new Hitler remember, except the opposite happened, he didn't start any silly wars and pulled a lot of troops back home. You were supposed to get a Second Civil war remember those headlines, instead he just plays golf No one believed Russiagate, No one gave a shit about Ukraine. The rest of the world is in a trade war with China anyway Which then leaves trying to blame Trump for Covid, or the now absolutely ridiculous belief that only Trump supporters aren't wearing masks and that's what's causing the spread I said two months ago, the world will learn the hard way in January, but we are already there and it's not even December yet Trump was right about one thing in that first debate, Biden isn't a smart guy No joy for Bernie or Pocahontas in a senior Position, so Biden will just be centre right Pretending to be centre left The one thing you have to ask yourself, the main thing I'm asking myself now is; anyone but Trump, the operative word being "anyone" .... how the fuck did you end up with this guy? At least with Trump the left media hated him, so you had anything about Covid analysed to death, now that's all starting to magically disappear, which means it's just not getting reinforced to the public as much as it used to, thus the spread gets worse, all these Thanksgiving travellers certainly aren't all Trump supporters By January, get ready for a big fat ha ha I told you so by me, then again 6 months after the vaccine gets distributed and all the "experts" act shocked it only cuts the deaths for those over 60 by a third
Don't waste your time... VG will need 12 pages of documentation and 5 videos. Then he will still think Trump is great and it was all the "fake news media" bringing him down.
Unbelievable, still hanging on the the mask thing, shake my damn head man Even when it comes to peoples own survival duh uh uh oh Fauci says were a mask duh uh uh oh only Trump supporters are not wearing a mask duh uh uh uh derrrrrr Explain Europe and UK and Sth America then, because with the exception of Bolsonaro all their leaders did what you say Trump should have done and yet: Covid Deaths per million population as of 26th November 2020: Belgium 1373 Peru 1078 Spain 942 Italy 861 UK 831 Argentina 831 USA 808 Brazil 801 Mexico 800 Chile 789 France 775 Colombia 702 Sweden (remember them) 647 Coronavirus Update (Live): 60,716,542 Cases and 1,426,779 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Pandemic - Worldometer
Thats got to be one of the best charts Ive seen Thanx for posting it. Although it brings up one of my nagging questions WHY was mortality so high in NY/NJ, 5% mortality with a virulent disease is scary , 1-2% not as much
