Trump doesn't sound like he won. https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2020/11/23/joe-biden-trump-transition-live-updates/ excerpt: "Since Trump was declared the election’s loser earlier this month, gone are blustery speeches and stemwinder White House news conferences about the coronavirus, which never disappeared like he promised — or any other topic for that matter. Gone are lengthy call-in sessions with favored Fox anchors that often stretched so long the hosts had to push to conclude the calls. Gone, too, are regular White House jousting matches with the press, impromptu Oval Office appearances with random guests or any pretense of being interested in many of the duties of the job. In the 19 days since the election, 12 have included no events on the president’s schedule. He has appeared at public events four times and has played golf at his own Virginia course six times. He has taken no questions from reporters."
Trump administration officially authorizes Biden transition. Trump administration officially authorizes Biden transition excerpt: "Trump in a pair of tweets vowed to continue his legal fight to contest the election results but said, "I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.” The transition process had been stalled for weeks as Trump's team waged a sputtering legal battle across the country to contest the results, leaving Biden out of the loop on the Covid-19 vaccine and other key issues. The Biden campaign celebrated the news in a statement."
Biden won with about a 4% margin of the vote in 2020 (6.2 million / 154 million). Hillary won with about a 2.2% margin of the vote in 2016 (2.87 million / 128.4 million) Biden's percent margin and absolute vote margin are about twice that of Hillary. The voter turnout for the presidential election of 2016 was about 137 million. Only about 128.4 million votes were cast for either Trump or Hillary. The rest were cast for presidential candidates of others parties and write-ins. The total voter turnout in 2016 was higher than the 137 million who voted in the presidential election due to U.S. possessions that vote but that are not permitted to vote in the U.S. presidential election. Total ballots cast in the 2016 election was about 138.8 million. 2016g - United States Elections Project
I know this has been posted before but in light of the developments today I think it's ok to post it again
I have seen reports of Biden saying he doesn't want Trump hit with dozens of law suits and that his focus will be on running the country rather than point scoring ,I hope that doesn't mean Trump will get away with his corruption.
