Trump's election lawsuits crumble, like his presidency. Trump's election lawsuits continue to crumble | First Thing
Trump was tweeting until the early morning hours. His post-election truther narrative is what was expected of him. He's been unable to make his claims stand in the courts. Next he will be claiming the courts are rigged. Trump could fire Krebs of CISA for stating the opposite of what he said. Trump in overnight meltdown makes eight false election claims in just four tweets excerpt: “It was attacked, perhaps like never before! From large numbers of Poll Watchers that were thrown out of vote counting rooms in many of our States, to millions of ballots that have been altered by Democrats, only for Democrats, to voting after the Election was over, to using Radical Left owned Dominion Voting Systems, turned down by Texas and many others because it was not good or secure, those responsible for the safeguarding of our Constitution cannot allow the Fake results of the 2020 Mail-In Election to stand.” There is no evidence to suggest the election in any way violated the US constitution, nor that it was “attacked”. The Trump administration’s own Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in fact hailed it as “the most secure in American history”.
Simple common medical sense has taken a backseat to idiotic political posturing in the U.S. - - - So the case numbers and death counts keep rising. Brilliance ..................... sheer brilliance.
Trump is inclined to attack the judges next as he continues to not get his way. Judges appear increasingly frustrated with Trump's legal claims about 2020 election excerpt: "As the legal effort grew following the election, judges appeared to grow increasingly agitated by the claims. In Michigan, Judge Cynthia Stephens questioned attorneys about a sworn affidavit that Republican attorneys had gathered in which a witness said they were told about mishandling of ballots. "What I have, at best, is a hearsay affidavit," said Stephens, who was appointed by then-Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat. "If there is something in that affidavit that would indicate that the [witness] observed activity that would be a depravation of the rights of poll watchers, I want you to please focus my attention on that. ... 'I heard somebody else say something.' Tell me why that's not hearsay. Come on now." In Pennsylvania, Trump's lawyers had suggested their poll observers had been shut out of the locations where ballots were being counted. So when the lawyers acknowledged that the observers had, in fact, been permitted within 15 feet of the poll workers, U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond, appointed by then-President George W. Bush, appeared baffled. "I'm sorry, then what's your problem?" Diamond chirped."
If Trump is given 15 feet observing distance, he wants 6. If given 6, he wants 3. Ultimately, Trump would like all official ballot counters replaced with his own supporters to 'count' the ballots.
A $15 minimum wage and expanded health care is "a far left agenda'? Lol What Sanders actually said was: 'I sometimes find it amusing when our opponents talk about the far left agenda,' Sanders told CNN. 'The truth is that when you talk about raising the minimum wage to 15 bucks an hour, when you're talking about expanding health care to all people as a human right, when you talk about effectively taking on climate change, when you talk about making public colleges and universities tuition free, these are not far-left ideas. 'These are commonsense ideas that the majority of the American people support.' How are things in the People's Republic of Australia?
Which translates as 'Nationalist' - a narrow minded xenophobic attitude - diametrically opposed to 'Socialism' - something you should have known or been taught at school - your ignorance is astounding !!!
It's material for a comedy skit. Trump has the Proud Boys 'counting' the ballots with a cheerleading squad of Trump supporters behind them as poll monitors. The next few ballots come in that are for Trump. cheerleading squad: "Count those votes!" (ballots recorded) A few more come in that are for Biden. cheerleading squad: "Stop the count!" (ballots discarded) ...and so on.
Trump's campaign is directing its lawsuit in PA at the wrong target. Trump campaign abandons part of legal challenge to Pennsylvania election results excerpt: "In any case, there is no provision in state law preventing counties from helping voters to fix a ballot that contains a technical deficiency. Levine said the lawsuit did not contain any allegation that somebody voted illegally. “They really should be suing the counties that didn’t allow [voters] to make corrections,” Levine said. “The goal should be making sure every vote counts.” Pennsylvania’s top election official, secretary of state Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat, responded in court on Sunday, asking the judge to dismiss the case. State courts are the proper jurisdiction for the subject, and the lawsuit contains no “plausible claim for relief on any legal theory”, the state’s lawyers wrote.
Moderna vaccine test results are very promising. 2nd virus vaccine shows overwhelming success in U.S. tests excerpt: "The National Institutes of Health helped create the vaccine Moderna is manufacturing, and NIH’s director, Dr. Francis Collins, said the exciting news from two companies “gives us a lot of confidence that we’re on the path towards having effective vaccines.” But “we’re also at this really dark time,” he warned, saying people can’t let down their guard during the months it will take for doses of any vaccines cleared by the Food and Drug Administration to start reaching a large share of the population. If the FDA allows emergency use of Moderna’s or Pfizer’s candidate, there will be limited, rationed supplies before the end of the year. Both vaccines require people to get two shots, several weeks apart. U.S. officials said they hope to have about 20 million Moderna doses and another 20 million doses of the vaccine made by Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech to use in late December."
