Trump's legal team is going to continue to use a delay tactic of appealing his tax return case on what it considers to be different contention points and keep appealing those contention points to the Supreme Court after he loses in the lower courts.

The delay helps him with the 2020 election and with the criminal probe of him in NY that may involve time-sensitive evidence.

 

Trump battled his case involving the Polish construction workers for about 15 years before finally settling in private.

Trump and his following are insinuating that the coronavirus isn't much worse than the flu by citing a very bad flu year where the deaths may approach 80,000 (such as the estimate for the 2017-2018 flu season which was the worst in 40 years) and comparing it to the current 6-month coronavirus death toll of 215,000 that occurred during a significant social distancing effort that didn't occur in years past for the (worst-case) flu death tolls that they cite.

Such a comparison doesn't consider the projected death toll from the coronavirus over a full year which could be about 430,000 deaths if the situation doesn't change much for a year

The comparison uses a worst-case flu year instead of a more typical year that has about 30,000 flu deaths..

It doesn't consider the significant social distancing efforts during the 6 months of the coronavirus in the U.S. that has reduced the number of deaths which otherwise would likely have been much higher than the 6-month 215,000.

 

I doubt it, I'd they do vote out Trump, they will overcompensate by putting more Reps in the senate
