Two Michigan men have been arrested for calling voters in several states and telling them over the phone that if they voter by mail the police would have their information and do a criminal back-ground check on them, including an immigration check. On some of the calls a tape recording was used. It seems the two were pushing a Trump agenda of voter suppression. Most of the activity was in the Detroit, Toledo, and Cleveland area where the population is mostly Black and Muslim.
McEnany is confused over when Hope Hick knew of her positive test result for the coronavirus and doesn't want to go into the timeline. WH Press Sec Doesn't Want to Get Into 'Exact Timeline' of When Trump Learned of Hicks' COVID Infection By Daniel Villarreal On 10/2/20 at 5:50 PM EDT The Donald Trump Score Card excerpt: ""When did the president learn of Hope Hicks' positive COVID-19 result?" Faulkner asked. "I don't know the answer to that. I'm not going to get into an exact timeline, but it's safe to say the president took precautions," McEnany responded. Faulkner continued to question McEnany about whether Hicks knew about her diagnosis while accompanying Trump and the first lady for the first presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday night or with Mr. Trump at his Wednesday night rally in Duluth, Minnesota. Newsweek subscription offers > "She had signs, symptoms on the plane, Air Force One," Faulkner stated. "It's been reported they quarantined her on the plane. What was some of the decision making around not maybe notifying people then?" McEnany said that the White House medical staff immediately began contact tracing to contact the other journalists and people who had been near Hicks, adding, "Contract tracing takes time, but rest assured we will always do what is in the best interest of the American people and those around.""
Contact tracing should be done to notify all those macho military and police officials who, as Trump has stated, love him so much that they had tears in their eyes and wanted to hug and kiss him but kissed Hope Hicks instead who contracted the coronavirus from them and later spread the virus to Trump.
That was McEnany's remark about an administration that is flying to locations for mask-less spreader rallies that are virus red zones by definition of the administration itself and later claiming it is doing everything to protect the American public.
On the debate stage Trump mocked Biden for wearing a face covering while Trump's family members and entourage flouted the safety rules and rejected face coverings offered by a medical official at the event. 2 days before Trump and Melania tested positive for COVID-19, the Trump family broke venue rules and went mask-less at the presidential debate
Trump displays his narcissism yet again. He takes the most damaging pandemic news and tries to attribute it to one of his narcissistic conditions that he perceives as innocent and beneficial. This time it was all a result of macho guys wanting to hug and kiss him but who instead kissed Hope Hicks, whom Trump recycled into his administration and whom he praises for being young, beautiful, and irresistible, who later inadvertently spread the virus to Trump.
Kellyanne Conway tested positive for the virus as did Trump's campaign manager Bill Stepien on Friday. Covid-19 Live Updates: Trump Is Hospitalized as More Aides Test Positive
Covid-19 Live Updates: Trump Is Hospitalized as More Aides Test Positive excerpt: "“He is 74, he’s hefty and he’s male, and those three things together put him in a higher-risk group for a severe infection,” said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, adding: “Although he is being watched meticulously and may well do fine for a few days, he is not out of the woods, because people can crash after that period of time. This is a very sneaky virus.” Already, his doctors have taken extraordinary steps. On Friday they gave him a single infusion of an experimental antibody cocktail that is showing promising results in early clinical trials. He is also taking vitamin D, zinc, melatonin, famotidine (an antacid better known as Pepcid) and daily aspirin, according to a memo from Dr. Sean P. Conley, the president’s physician. As is the case with all Covid-19 patients, Mr. Trump’s overall health will make a difference in how he fares. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that about 64.7 percent of Covid-19 patients with underlying health conditions in his age group have required hospitalization, and 31.7 percent have died."
Additional somber news for Trump about a critical swing state. He can't even do his rallies that were planned to occur in the virus hot spots of WI because he has the disease he was helping to spread. Wisconsin still has high number of coronavirus cases, hospitalizations Friday 20% of tests were positive 6 of the past 7 days By WBAY news staff Published: Oct. 2, 2020 at 3:09 PM EDT Wisconsin still has high number of coronavirus cases, hospitalizations Friday excerpt: "Health Departments Overwhelmed Public health departments in the Fox Valley declared an emergency alert Friday, saying they’re so inundated with new cases they can’t notify people who test positive in a timely manner -- much less their close contacts. Manitowoc and Door county health departments this week announced made similar announcements this week. State health officials say with local health departments overwhelmed, it’s going to be harder to identify the source of outbreaks. People who test positive are advised to reach out themselves to people who had close contact and ask them to quarantine until the 14th day from their last contact. Guidance for local health departments This week, the DHS released a document local health departments can use for guidance to slow the spread of the virus. You can read the document HERE. For counties with Very High case activity -- which is a majority of counties in Northeastern Wisconsin -- the recommendations read very much like the Safer-at-Home order early in the pandemic."
Article from May 2020. Wisconsin Supreme Court Strikes Down 'Safer At Home' Order Evers' Administration Would Need Approval Of Legislature's Rulemaking Committee To Issue New Stay-At-Home Orders By Shawn Johnson Published: Wednesday, May 13, 2020, 5:00pm Updated: Wednesday, May 13, 2020, 9:00pm Wisconsin Supreme Court Strikes Down 'Safer At Home' Order excerpt: "Under the court's ruling, Evers' administration could issue new stay-at-home orders, but it would need the approval of the Legislature's rulemaking committee, which is run by Republicans. That effectively gives Republicans veto power over any future stay-at-home restrictions. Evers told reporters Wednesday night that his administration would begin the rulemaking process Thursday morning, but cautioned that the process was a slow one. He said he was disappointed in the court, and in Republicans. "Today, Republican legislators convinced four members of the Supreme Court to throw the state in chaos," Evers said. "Republicans own that chaos." Republicans originally asked the court for a six-day stay which would have kept the current "Safer at Home" order in place while a new one is negotiated to replace it. But the court instead decided to strike down the order effective immediately. For weeks, Republicans have said they want the state to adopt a regional approach, with more restrictions in places with higher concentrations of COVID-19 cases and fewer restrictions where cases are comparatively rare. But in a written statement issued Wednesday night, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, suggested they were comfortable without any new order from the state to replace the one that the court struck down."

Kellyanne Conway of the Trump administration didn't know that the '19' in COVID-19 refers to the year that the disease was first documented (2019). She was trying to disparage the medical community by erroneously thinking that COVID-19 was the 19th iteration of the disease over the years and that the medical community is supposedly incompetent now in face of a novel disease because, in her mind, it already had experience with 18 previous versions. ‘This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks’: Kellyanne Conway mistakenly suggests name of virus means multiple versions By Amanda Kaufman The Boston Globe April 16, 2020 ‘This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks’: Kellyanne Conway mistakenly suggests name of virus means multiple versions - The Boston Globe excerpt: "‘This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks’: Kellyanne Conway mistakenly suggests name of virus means multiple versions - The Boston Globe In an appearance on Fox News Wednesday, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway falsely suggested the illness caused by the novel coronavirus is called COVID-19 because it is the 19th iteration of the disease. Conway was asked on “Fox & Friends” about the president’s decision Tuesday to halt funding to the World Health Organization after he criticized the group for not doing enough to stop the spread of the virus when it first surfaced in China. “Some of the scientists and doctors say that there could be other strains later on, that this could come back in the fall in a limited way. This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks," Conway said. “You would think that people charged with the World Health Organization facts and figures would be on top of that.”"
