Hi I am new here

This seems like a really nice place to hang out. I work in healthcare is a personal support worker. What hobbies and activities include creative writing reading and writing poetry. Reading a good book. I also love music especially Celtic an Eclectic music. Anyway it's nice to be here. I also love walking, camping, hiking, swimming gardening and biking.

Thank you for your reply. Jane and I, along with our 3 grown up children and our daughters twins are all keeping well. Hopefully all is well with your family too.
Simply clicking on an avatar brings up a box showing when a member joined HF, when they were last online and a tally of their activity. I see some replies to members who have not been online for more than 10 years, so it is worthwhile checking before replying on old threads.

I'll have to admit, I have mixed feelings about intro threads. Often enough we say hello and whoever it is never shows up again. It's typically short-lived; and that's not to say hospitality isn't worthwhile, because it is! Totally... But I get the feeling sometimes that it's a bad joke or something where we put energy into something that's.... well, futile or remote, or hopeless. Anyway, I'm ranting..

Definitely! Welcome aboard!! Enjoy it here! We're a reasonably active bunch... the best way to see what we're up to is by clicking on the Link that says "New Posts" at the top of the "Forums" - otherwise, when you browse by subject, cruise for topics, etc., you see lots and lots and lots of old threads that nobody has said anything in forever, and that were posted by someone who is no longer here.
