So I suppose Gaetz ought to publicly condemn "tricky-Dicky Cheyney" for yelling ....................... "Shut your F-ing mouth and sit down" at another Senator while the Senate was in session?? That had never happened before in Senate history until Cheyney opened his fat mouth.

Montana isn't the only state where you'll find ferociously racist towns.

This same xenophobia used to target the Irish, the Italians, the Polish, the Jewish, the Japanese ............... some people just need to have someone to hate, and blame for all of their life-problems.

Because Rump is just like a weather-vane ................. he rotates to whichever way he thinks the wind is blowing at any given moment. Notice how he takes multiple angles about many topics?? (paraphrasing here ) ..."It might be this way - or it could be the other way ................ we'll see."

He's like mercury .................. he changes shape depending on the container (perceived audience) he's speaking to.

This "southern strategy" was also a center point of Ronnie Reagan's campaigns. It's a dogwhistle signal to get racist white voters to vote Republican.

If some of these folks are so proud of being racist ................... then wear tee-shirts emblazoned with it in plain words. Proudly list the people you hate. Don't hide like a coward behind a "southern strategy", or "heritage", or "suburban neighborhoods becoming crime infested", etc. Wear your Nazi gear proudly so we can all see you.

For those who hate Blacks, Asians, & Hispanics ................ you won't be going to stadiums & arenas to see football, basketball, or baseball then right? You wouldn't want to patronize sports that have so many non-whites in them, correct? And you won't have your TV's tuned to any of those sports either. Even golf is getting way too diverse these days. Asians, Hispanics, and even a few of those Black people in there. What sports to watch? Hmmmm............... what sports to watch ...................

I can't fathom people who think like that.

The contractor Rump chose is a big REPUBLICAN DONOR. The only qualification needed. Seems they built it too close to the Rio Grande River and it's collapsing into the water. It's collapsing just like Rump's former businesses, casinos, etc.

NO - to answer your first question.

YES - THE REPUBLICAN PARTY wants Social Security reduced.......................... just like they have for decades - to answer your 2nd question. For anyone who actually follows politics in the U.S. - that question is automatic - and there's plenty of public record to show how REPUBLICANS in Congress voted on such proposals.

VERY TYPICAL REPUBLICAN maneuver. The REPUBLICAN PARTY has tried to get rid of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for decades. This isn't a secret. Their attempts have been in the news for decades. And which party does the business community and their union - the Chamber of Commerce - support with GIGANTIC donations to the tune of multiple BILLIONS of dollars - yes - BILLIONS??? The REPUBLICAN PARTY. Businesses & employers donn't donate that kind of money without expecting to get even more in return - custom-written laws that financially benefit THEM.

Why do they want them to disappear?? Because the "business community" and their union ........ the Chamber of Commerce ............ doesn't want a Federal law mandating that all employers contribute a set percentage toward their employees' retirement. Employers would rather have contributions to their employees' retirement be voluntary - and not have any set law as to how much they must contribute. That way they can contribute tiny amounts - if anything at all - and not be held legally responsible. They take the money out of the employees' pockets ................ and put it right back into their own. (probably with claims of "we have to compete." )

Guess who gets the short end of the stick again if the REPUBLICANS get their way??? Once again ...................... WORKING U.S. CITIZENS.

For the "well-educated, dean's list" Texan ....................... the correct word is heritage ..................... not refuge.

And ........................... big talk doesn't make a big man. There's a difference - Tex. I've found - personally - that people who start shouting big-talk violent threats from a distance quickly wither when they're face-to-face with someone.

But But But it is Trump and the Republicans who are destroying Our constitution. (1) Trump does not respect our House of Representatives or the power of a constitutionally authorized subpoena. (2) Trump does not respect The Emoluments Clause which is in Our Constitution. (3) Trump refused to release his tax and banking documentation as required by federal law and Our federal law was enacted according to Constitutional mandate. (4) Trump has attacked Constitutional requirements which clearly define Congressional authority to establish Our postal service. Trump has also attacked Our Constitutionally authorized branches of government, like the Department of Justice, and Armed Forces. In fact, he has attempted to turn these agencies into his own private revenge forces. On top of all that, Trump and the Republicans have demonstrated contempt for our CDC and NIH which were globally recognized to be the best in the world. It sure looks like Trump and the Republicans have every intention to see Coronavirus spread through out the American population. That is not patriotic.

The difference between an AR-15 and handgun can be seen in the bullet wounds

The difference between an AR-15 and handgun can be seen in the bullet wounds

    excerpt:

"Furthermore, while all rifle bullets have this capability, the ammunition used by the AR-15, a .223 Remington cartridge, travels at approximately 3,000 feet per second and causes a significant cavitation effect — where a bullet is travelling so fast that it sends shock waves through the body and severely damages or kills displaced tissue.

Somerset explains that people can die from bullets in one of two ways: when organs are directly hit as bullets pass through the body or through the cavitation effect.

“The cavitation effect from a handgun is typically not very severe. With rifles, the cavitation injuries can be very severe.” In addition, Somerset says that bullets from a .223 Remington “tend to tumble” through the body, which further worsens the cavitation effect.

Sher adds in her piece that she’s seen a handful of AR-15 wounds in her career, and said exit wounds from rifle bullets can reach the size of an orange."

Just take a long hard look at Viet Nam. When they improved relations with that Communist government - as they have with others - The Americans introduced sugar laden caffeinated soft drinks to them. The Vietnamese did not know that in just a few years a large part of their people would be addicted and eventually obese diabetics. Then the American corporations would be ready with insulin to sell.

Trump employs violence as political fuel for reelection fight
    By Michael Scherer
    September 8, 2020 at 8:53 AM EDT

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...7fa096-edf6-11ea-99a1-71343d03bc29_story.html

    excerpt:

"Trump’s return to focusing on violent threats and conflict follows a summer in which he appeared politically adrift as the coronavirus pandemic overtook the nation, infecting at least 6.2 million people and dampening the economy.

He initially wavered about whether to focus campaign advertising on touting his pandemic response or attacking his opponent, before eventually launching attacks on Biden for his ties to China, his mental acuity and his policy positions. Biden’s polling advantage widened.

When nationwide protests against police misconduct turned violent this summer, Trump’s strategy shifted once again. A July 9 set of talking points distributed around the White House by Stephen Miller, an adviser who wrote Trump’s 2016 nomination speech, previewed the message that Trump would settle on for the final push to the Republican National Convention.

The solution Miller described, which Trump soon incorporated into his rhetoric and advertising, was to portray Biden as a fundamental threat to public safety. “No one will be safe in Joe Biden’s America,” the document read. The Democratic nominee, Miller’s document continued, “will surrender America and its citizens to the violent left-wing mob” and “abolish the American Way of Life.”

The shift sought to rehabilitate Trump’s political message of dominance and turn the discussion away from the pandemic, which public polling showed had become a drag on the president’s support.

“You can’t really tell people that there is no covid crisis, because they are surrounded by it. The only thing you can do is make something else louder,” said Matthew Baum, a political scientist at Harvard who studies political persuasion and misinformation. “You don’t have to persuade people. All you have to do is say, ‘Don’t look over there. Look over here.’”"

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...7fa096-edf6-11ea-99a1-71343d03bc29_story.html

    excerpts:

"Although Trump has received no big boosts in polling, he unapologetically promoted a video last week of his supporters attacking protesters in Portland, later arguing at the White House that their firing of paintball guns and pepper spray in city streets from the back of pickup trucks was “defensive.” On Twitter, he said the conflict was a logical response to provocation by liberals."

"Politically motivated street fights have become more common during his presidency, as politically motivated mass shootings in El Paso, Pittsburgh and Gilroy, Calif., among others, have rattled the nation. Recent conflicts at protests have caused injuries nationwide in recent weeks, from Kalamazoo, Mich., to Weatherford, Tex., to Bloomington, Ind., as protesters of police misconduct confront counterprotesters, who are sometimes dressed in Trump-branded apparel and claim to be helping to keep the peace. In one case, a gun-wielding Trump supporter in Kenosha, Wis., was charged with murder after allegedly killing two protesters and injuring a third.

In the face of this, Trump has condemned the actions of left-wing rioters but declined to condemn violence by his own supporters, even as he falsely claims that Biden is refusing to denounce violence on the left."
