It's very easy for right wing terrorism to look left wing when the police favors one side. It's a pretty open secret police departments are right wing. They don't like Democrats because they make it harder to be racist or "do their job". They also want to end the war on drugs so it's harder to justify the high budgets that buy police all the toys they play with.The job depends on fear. Life is so scary we need them and we sure can't handcuff them with rules. You let the thin blue line blue.

When Trump does not win he will refuse to leave office because of "voter fraud". Someone like him literally can not accept defeat. He always wins except when jealous people lie. During that time he is going to give the approval to violence in his name. America can count on some stand offs. They will fight Biden more than Obama. They have been shown a new normal in Trump and as long as they live that is what they will expect for their vote.

When some kind of mass shooting or terrorism happens it's usually a right wing person. I think this is why it's so important for them to say the left wing is just as bad. Violence happens for a lot of ideas but I don't hear much about socialists or BLM committing mass shootings

When people on this board like you insist that rioters who have burned homes and businesses, beat up the elderly, killed 30 people and counting, blocked ambulances, and burglarized many people, are somehow “Peaceful,” while vilifying those who fight these scum in acts of self defense. It was about clarification of your statement-- which was actually a form of question begging based on the false premise "we all know". I don't know, and neither do you, although you may think you do. It's incredible to me that after the George Floyd killing police are still shooting black people like Jacob Blake under circumstances that provoke outrage. There was a march on Washington yesterday that was peaceful, and there have been lots of others, like the one in my community that didn't make the news because no violence occurred. Why are protests turning violent? My guess is one contributing factor would be that Trump is running for re-election, the virus and ensuing economic downturn have undercut his case, and he has put the word out that he needs some violence in the blue cities to make his case for "Law and Order." Another would be boogaloo boys and other agents provocateur stirring shit. A third would be opportunistic vandals and looters, seeing a chance to get that TV or computer they always wanted or to smash something up. There could also be anarchists involved who think they're helping to bring down the current social order. Portland has been a battleground between Antifa and Proud Boys for over a year, and is now in,--what, its third month of protest over George Floyd. That's somebody's Ph.D dissertation waiting to happen. Over to you.

 

The 30 people killed were killed by right wing extremists who are all about the right to keep and bear arms -- so they could kill people who disagree with them. You attempt to generalize all Democrats and left thinking people as violent rioters and looters. Your attempt to generalize is easily seen as a cover for stigmatizing all Democrats as violent. The fact remains, your extremist group is all about guns and violence and the intimidation of people who do not own guns. You claim to be patriotic but attack ordinary Americans who wish to use their freedom of speech.

 

I think you'd flunk a college course on social movements with that one. There are some similarities between Marxist and Fascist brands of totalitarianism, but not the superficial ones you bring up--which are the kinds of associations any troll on the street would come up with. Marxism is rooted in historical dialectical materialism. The "oppressor-oppressed" narrative you talk about is strictly socioeconomic. Nazism is based on race and national identity. Apples and oranges. As a matter of fact, the ruling classes have been using identitarian appeals to shift attention from class exploitation for centuries, and are doing it right now. That's largely what you and your fellow identitarians are about.
