Yes, I do. I see no point in dragging half the front yard with me inside the house. It'd eventually just make the bed sheets really nasty to sleep in, and I don't wanna get THAT close to nature.
Lately, I have been washing my feet before bed or snuggle time on the couch. I've been wearing sandals or sometimes no shoes at all and my feet have been getting quite dirty.
I think no one likes to have all the dirt from the streets or trails or whatever to have in the bed. This is like going to bed with your boots on I guess. During summer I use to shower not only in the morning but before going to bed too, to wash down the sweat. So my feet get washed too, and if there is sticky dirt, a brush will help.
I agree. You don't want sweat and grime in your house. It's like walking in with muddy boots or hands covered in mud.
If I have been barefoot outside I always wash up before I come in the house using the hose that's right next to the back door. No sense tracking dirt inside.
I've never witnessed anything like this across all my devices. Maybe taking a peek at the actual error message could help? This needs to be discussed in the User support subforum tho. I fear it's OT here. And about the foot washing, well... not really. It's just like this, sry. It has to be said that i don't spend many nights in my bed either.
I have to admit I'm a bit lazy when it comes to washing my feet when i come inside, or before bed. I don't mind my feet being dirty all the time, its a bit of a badge of honour with me, and its a bit of a "talking point' with other mums on the school run etc.....
I work outside, and I end up walking (in shoes) across gravel, dirt, stone, grass, concrete -- pretty much every type of surface through the day. I often get crud on the outside of my socks and inside my shoes, so my feet get pretty dirty each day. Also, I'm usually watering something like flowering plants, shrubs, or trees occasionally through the day, so my shoes/socks often are wet from water, and/or from sweat. Unless it's cold outside, I remove my shoes and socks when I get to the car when work is over, and I drive home barefoot. When I get home, I wash my feet off outside with water from a watering can or from a hose. So while I don't specifically wash them before bed, I almost always rinse them with water after work to get all the work-related dirt off and make them look clean. But since I'm usually barefoot at home the rest of the day, they invariably get some more dirt on them, but I wouldn't wash that off before going to bed. So I guess my final answer is: no, I don't wash my feet before going to bed.
That's really good. I agree with you a pair of dirty soles are a barefooters badge of honor, a true sign that I've been barefoot everywhere. I only really wash my feet when I come home if they are muddy but regular street dirt i just leave until I'm showering.
