Surely the politically correct crowd in your country no longer want the word faggot to be used in polite conversation? By now I would have thought that these silly people would have found another name for a ball or roll of seasoned chopped liver, baked or fried. Maybe call it a "chiverbake"?

Bought a Gammon Joint, studded it with cloves, poured honey over it (both sides) and roasted it. steamed some potatoes and peas - meal was delicious. There is enough of the joint left I shall be able to have 'ham' and eggs for breakfast tomorrow morning.

Since we invented them, we can call them what we like, and the term 'faggot' here in the uk doesn't have the same derogatory sense it has in the us, so in the words of the prophet - 'sod off' !!!

Turkey sandwich on rye with tomatoes from the garden. You just can't get good tomatoes from the grocery store any more.
