"The Left" doesn't state anything. "The left" is a label for a heterogeneous collection of people who value equality and social justice as core values. To reduce our choices to the false dichotomy of Trump versus Antifa shows a simple mind that sees the world in black and white dichotomies and stereotypes. Both BLM and Antifa themselves are loose aggregations of folks whose "leaders" don't necessarily speak for them. Who is a leader of Antifa, anyway? Muh Russia. What the hell does that even mean? Seems the Repubs are backing a guy who Putin has in his hip pocket, and who has a strange admiration for dictators right and left. I think your moving to another country would be an excellent first step in the direction of Make America Great Again. Maybe you can join that multi-millionaire Andrew Tate Six-eyed Shaman is always raving about, move to Romania, and haunt a castle in Transylvania together. The next step would be to de-elect Trump. All you can do is rant and throw around labels that have no meaning. Blah, blah, blah.

That tweet of Cain was deleted the day he died.

If the span from first symptom to hospitalization of Herman Cain was indeed only two days (and that's indeterminate due to lack of information from him), it suggests that he was very susceptible to morbidity and mortality of the coronavirus.

It raises the question as to why Cain was engaging in such risky behavior by flouting guidelines and attending Trump's Tulsa indoor rally with thousands of people in close proximity to him.

He was also at a number of other public events the week of the Tulsa rally and was known to not wear a face covering and not abide by social distancing guidelines.

It's really hard to look at a man who achieved so much in good health enjoying himself among friends and family and then know that he died shortly after this picture was taken due to his own stupidity.

According to the Washington Post, six advance staffers tested positive for the coronavirus at Trump's rally in Tulsa. Two were Secret Service workers. Two other advance staffers at the event tested positive after they returned to Washington.

Lack of a robust contact tracing in the U.S. for the general public has been an impediment to controlling the disease. High accuracy tests need to be performed promptly and the results disseminated quickly to those who were in contact with an infected person. The people identified and informed as having been in contact need to be willing to abide by social distancing guidelines to stop further spread including quarantine if necessary.

Contract tracing and obedience to distancing guidelines are like the control rods in a nuclear reactor that prevent the reaction rate from going exponential.

Trump claims he built the best virus testing machine in the world, but he didn't. The new regions of the U.S. where the virus is now raging would have been brought under control earlier or wouldn't have even occurred if contact tracing and its requirement of obedience to guidelines had been adequate.

The problem with people like Trump and Cain is that they won't abide by social distancing guidelines even if they were part of a superb contact tracing system. They literally short-circuit such a system and they encourage others to do the same.

Trump's dog-chase-tail routine raving about supposed superb testing while flouting it isn't a remedy.

We’ll never know if Herman Cain caught the coronavirus at the Tulsa Rally, but we will remember the words that Trump and his aides were pushing for brief period of time (before they realized it was political suicide) when they suggested that older people should face death with equanimity, knowing that they might contribute to saving the economy and their grandchildren’s future.

    Enter, Herman Cain DOA

Considering former Fox host Bill O'Reilly's remark about the elderly dying of the coronavirus, his expected words now would be "Herman Cain was on his last legs anyway."

The most important part of contact tracing is that you need 100% of people surveyed to tell the truth all the time

Which includes dobbing in a mate they had contact with they know will then have to quarantine for 14 days, possibly loose their job, or at least 2 weeks income

That happens even 1% of the time, by the time you get to a million cases, that's 10,000 people X the number of friends they didn't dob in, unchecked

    Shrugs

Strange that Gloria Etchison Cain still hasn’t released a statement to the press concerning the death of her husband. There was a brief statement from the family but not from Gloria.

I guess it has to be cleared through the white house first.

They don’t want her to say anything that might contradict the president, or that her husband did something so stupid, so asinine as to be unbelievable, especially for an African American male over the age of 70.

The news Trump really didn't want to hear (opinion) - CNN

    excerpt:

"This case is the continuation of a battle that already has gone poorly for Trump. He initially fought the subpoena by claiming that, as a sitting president, he held "absolute immunity" from criminal investigation. The Supreme Court firmly rejected that argument by a 7-2 vote, with Chief Justice John Roberts and Trump-appointed Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh joining the four traditionally liberal justices in a cross-ideological majority.

The court sent the case back to the lower court to enable Trump to raise the objections that any non-presidential subpoena recipient can raise in the lower courts. But those objections rarely succeed. In my 14 years as a prosecutor, I never had a subpoena recipient succeed in quashing (essentially, defeating) a criminal subpoena."

Irresponsible men who cause unwanted pregnancies contend that it was due to someone else.

Likewise, Trump and the following will never admit that a person became infected with the coronavirus at a Trump event. In their minds, it always happened somewhere else.

They would also dismiss contact tracing that could identify the person who caused the pregnancy while at the same time rave about their supposed world-class contact tracing that they claim they built.

Considering your unintelligent, and immature posts the last five years, I guess that makes you about 10 years old.
