They call it the goon squad which is there to protect the people and their livelihood. Their right to walk freely in their city without fear of being assaulted or killed just for being in their place of business, or in their home. As if people are considered bad for protecting their businesses and homes, wanting it to be protected. The silent majority wantS that. Some people who stand up and say enough, are called racist. And local politicians only act when their home is directly effected. Like the mayor of Seattle.

Remember when Eisenhower sent the feds in, the goon squad to walk children to school? they aren’t the goon squad now and weren’t then either. They are meeting the demands of the silent majority.

but some people are standing up and saying go home to these rioters setting fires, even though the mayors and city council won’t.

Little italy won’t be taking their shit. They are better off not messIng with little Italy as well.

How so? Many people in the streets are exercising their right to protest, which Trump's goons won't respect. The protests were dying down before Trump's stormtroopers showed up to rekindle them. Nothing contradictory there.

It's supposed to be there to protect federal property and personnel. Othewise, its unconstitutional!
How do you know? Has someone taken a poll?

No I don't, because it didn't happen. Eisenhower called out the National Guard. Big difference! He called out the National Guard because state authorities were obstructing the exercise of federal civil rights.

You show us a video "BLM protestors face off NYPD". Is the NYPD the 'some people"? About halfway thru the video, we see some locals confronting demonstrators, which is their prerogative. How did Little Italy get into the act? Is that the neighborhood where this is taking place? And so what? Like all your posts, there is no context, so little meaning. The demonstrators are getting off easy. Back in 1989, Yussef Hawkins, a black man, wandered into an Italian neighborhood in Besonhurst, NYC, was attacked by a mob and shot dead.

Ok whatever you say. Eisenhower federalize the national guard.

Yes it was taking place in little Italy, did you even read the sign saying welcome to little italiy. Do you pay attention to anything?

I said most crimes Happen in large cities with aN equally diverse population .... Large cities have more crimes and are compared to an entire national population. Comparisons can’t be made and it produces inaccurate statistics based on demographics nationally vs city demographics.

as for little Italy, these thugs simply ran with their tail between their legs, Don’t fuck with the people in little Italyor interrupt their meal. One guy says humanity, this is about humanity...

What are these riots about? Defunding the police?

Did you read the defunding police ... can breath act recently brought to the House of Representatives? The bill they want passed?

It is the federal polices is tasked with protecting the U.S. against terrorist threats and intelligence offenses. They also enforce federal and criminal laws and step in to help in any situation that's too large for a local law enforcement agency. You don’t think the mayor of Seattle and Portland are obstructing civil rights of the people by allowing violence to continue, businesses to be destroyed and leaving the people feeling unsafe in their own homes and businesses?

Now, these riots and fires were clearly too big for them to handle and handle it places like seattle and Portland have not.

The police were told to do nothing, just let it happen. You are good with this? They further begged for help.

Weren't you disputing me earlier when I said that the feds were protecting federal buildings ... and had a right to do so... and when I said federal buildings also own the road and sidewalk in front of their buildings you said they were overstepping, when in fact they were not? Might have been someone different but I am pretty sure it was you.

right to protest is suppose to be peaceful. It is not peaceful by any means, it doesn’t mean intimidate people, destroy businesses and livelihood... doesn’t mean loot stores either or burn it down. Doesn’t mean tear down statues either,

What do you think these riots are about?

Yes, he did. Because State officials were obstructing enforcement of federal civil rights. Trump has not used the national guard, but instead has called in this makeshift force cobbled together to score political coverage before the election. Why hasn't he used the National Guard?

Your jabberings are too incoherent to waste further time on. The topic is Federal Troops in Portland, not the NYPD, BLM, and Little Italy. What point are you trying to make? Focus. Try to formulate a coherent argument instead of stream of consciousness rantings.

Well you ask a lot and assert a lot of bs an$ I can’t be bothered taking the time to separate your assertions, Like your links above. The first one about the guy who brought a gun and was shot dead. You know he first 5 shots at the car before the guy in the car returned fire? Yep... but the poor guy, not! I could go on, and dispute all your links, but after seeing the first one.... I figured why bother,

Section 35, was legally invalidated after the Civil War by the ratification of the 14th amendment to the federal constitution 1868

    Ahem,

The clause was rendered moot by the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, although it was not repealed by voters until 1926.
Other racist language in the state constitution was removed in 2002.

2002, it took until 2002 until that vile vicious racist language was permanently removed from the State Constitution.

    This is a lie...

Garrett Foster did not fire his gun... He didn't even point it at the driver that shot him dead. He was shot dead for approaching a car that had driven into peaceful protesters.

By "first one" you're talking about the first one in Post 266 that wasn't even addressed to you." Police and witnesses said the man in the car turned it aggressively toward the marchers, and Foster then approached it. The driver opened fire, shooting Foster three times." Do you have contrary information? Where did you get it? And do you think anyone will swallow your excuse that because you dispute an account in one link of a post that wasn't addressed to you you can't be bothered with the others. Be that way! I wasn't talking to you anyhow.

Now she has no one to take care of her........

Loved her unconditionally': Austin protest shooting victim remembered for devotion to fiancée, racial justice

AUSTIN, Texas — Garrett Foster, who was shot to death during a downtown Austin protest Saturday night, was remembered as a man dedicated to exercising his Second Amendment rights, stamping out racial injustice
and caring for his fiancée, according to family and friends.

The incident leading up to the 28-year-old’s death began about 9:50 p.m. when a driver honked his horn and turned right onto a street where there was a crowd of protesters, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Sunday.

Several protesters — including Foster, who was holding an assault rifle — approached the car, Manley said. He said the driver reported that Foster pointed the weapon at him. The driver then pointed his handgun outside the window,
fired multiple shots and drove away, Manley said.

Someone else in the crowd opened fire on the car as it drove off, Manley said.

His aunt Karen Sourber said. “He’s been her primary caretaker ever since. He just loved her unconditionally and took care of everything.”

Witnesses said he never raised his rifle... It was pointed at the ground.

I know I read the complete statement.

There must be video evidence which will corroborate the witnesses statements

Garrett Foster, 28, was shot and killed by a motorist during a Black Lives Matter protest in Austin, Texas, on Saturday night.

He was pushing his fiancée Whitney Mitchell's wheelchair when a man drove his car into the crowd of protesters.

After protesters confronted the driver, the driver opened fire and fatally shot Foster.

Foster was an Air Force veteran, who had been Mitchell's caretaker for nearly a decade

Is that what I was trying to do? I could have sworn I was trying to portray us as rational people who resent King Trump's interference. As for the high number of white protesters, that goes to show that this is not a black movement, it's an American movement.

Driving down the street I and was glad to see so many households flying the Star Spangled Banner. Some of these flags had a thin blue line and others a thin red line. These flags were not up during July 4th weekend either. It’s nice to know that the whole state still has not been consumed by flag-burning leftism, unlike our biggest city, Portland.
