The opposition to the protesters started many of those fires and broke open stores to get the looting started to discredit the protests. And they always conveniently park police vehicles unattended in the path of the protestors knowing whats going to happen. Complicated game they play.
A few bad apples is always perfectly acceptable excuse for police misconduct. But never with the protesters. What a scam.
Blah, Blah, Blah. Sounds like something dredged up from speech by Rep. Jubilation T. Cornpone of HUAC sxty years ago. President Trump saw a racial divide, rode it to the White House, and is still fanning the flames and throwing gasoline on the fire. BLM saw and opportunity, went for it, and is temporarily successful because it's the only voice that has captured the spirit of the times. I suspect it will push its luck, people will get tired of it, and it will live on in the history books like the Black Panthers--hopefully after it's spurred some more meaningful civil rights reforms!
I've seen far more examples of police being violent and starting the conflict. For example they run at protesters with weapons out and if the protesters fights back with a push or punch well that's felony assault on an officer. The cops knew that and wanted that to happen. They are alt-right fascists and they want the public to support the extermination of the undesirables. Only the left wing are out fighting them so all that is left is the submissive white society the fascist American wants. Hitler said the communist left wing was violent too. And everyone who did not love him must hate free Germany and want to bring on Communism. So the only solution is to fight them with a strong police force. Kind of sounds like Trump Cops are doing most of the violence and blaming it on protesters. These kind of stores are only acceptable in America. Video Shows Cop Punching Man on Manhattan Subway. DA Vance Charges Rider With Assault It was around 12:30 a.m. on May 25, according to a criminal complaint, when police approached Joseph because, Officer Shimul Saha said, he was “occupying more than one seat” on the near-empty No. 6 train. Joseph left the car and moved to the next one. Police followed him. Joseph, a hair stylist by trade, said he did not understand why the cops were ordering him to exit the train and refused, body camera video obtained by the Legal Aid Society shows. “You can’t arrest me for not wanting to get off of the train,” Joseph says as police officers tell him he is holding up other riders. One police officer, Adonis Long, reaches out to get Joseph off the train. Joseph bats his hand away. Then, Long tries to pull him up. When Joseph lurches away, the cop punches him twice in the face, knocking off his glasses, and drags him off the train. He kicks Joseph’s bags on to the platform. “Why are you f-----g hitting me?” Joseph moans, his back against the wall of the 51st Street and Lexington Avenue subway platform. Long then takes out his pepper spray, at which point Joseph is crying and pleading “Stop!” against the wall, surrounded by police and appearing to bleed from the side of his head. “I’m having a panic attack, please,” he says, cuffed on the floor of the station. He calls out for his older brother, who was not there. “Relax,” the phalanx of officers surrounding him command. He remained cuffed on the platform floor for about 20 minutes, until EMTs arrived with a stretcher and transported him to Mt. Sinai Hospital. “I felt like my heart was going to fall out,” a still-shaken Joseph told THE CITY in an interview this weekend. He wonders if police approached him in a case of mistaken identity. “I feel like somebody else did something that looks like me and I’m getting the repercussions from it,” he said. Related How to Report Police Misconduct — and What to Expect If You Do But prosecutors say Joseph’s behavior during the arrest warrants felony charges. Saha said in a criminal complaint that Long told him Joseph kicked his right hand while the officers attempted to cuff the ejected rider on the platform. Long, according to Saha, “sustained swelling and substantial pain to the knuckles of his right hand and was transported to the hospital.” “He informs me that because of the swelling he is unable to open and close his hand without experiencing pain,” Saha said.
I am happy to see veterans who understand the concept of disagreement. Too many on the right wing try to own the military as if they protect only them while not seeing how anti-American that concept is. A ‘Wall of Vets’ Joins the Front Lines of Portland Protests PORTLAND, Ore. — A week after federal officers in Portland, Ore., brutally struck a Navy veteran who said he had approached them simply to ask a question, a group of military veterans on Friday joined the front lines of the city’s growing protests. Duston Obermeyer, a Marine Corps veteran, said he and other veterans were there to make sure federal officers did not infringe on the free speech of protesters, who numbered in the thousands. “Our veterans are here specifically to support the rights of the protesters to protest,” said Mr. Obermeyer, who said he had deployed three times during a decade in the Marines. The group of vets lined up in front of a fence erected outside the federal courthouse. They stayed together until a cloud of tear gas scattered much of the crowd.
I'm seeing a pattern that leads to also thinking unnamed police in Portland are good policing. Ferguson Cops Once Charged a Guy With Bleeding on Their Uniforms As Michael Daly reports at The Daily Beast, the address where the defendant was said to have so wantonly damaged these officers’ uniforms is in fact the address of the Ferguson Police Department, which recently took over from the colon-searchers in Deming, New Mexico, as America’s favorite. Did the above-named defendant go down there voluntarily and throw blood upon their uniforms? No he did not. The above-named defendant was 52-year-old Henry Davis, who was a Henry Davis but not the Henry Davis they were looking for. This Henry Davis had the bad luck to be caught in a driving rainstorm on the highway, reportedly missing the exit for St. Charles and ending up in Ferguson. Having pulled over to wait out the rain, he was found by an officer who ran his plate and found an outstanding warrant for “Henry Davis.” The two Henry Davises had different middle names and Social Security numbers, but these details, and the corresponding likelihood that the person in custody was an entirely different human being not suspected of anything, do not seem to have been important. Though the booking officer realized the problem, he did not let Davis go. When Davis objected to being locked up and forced to sleep on a cement floor, the officer summoned others. Words were exchanged, probably—you know how people smart off in Ferguson when being hassled for no reason—and Davis was beaten and kicked in the head. He fought too, apparently. We don’t know for sure, because the surveillance video for that time was accidentally not preserved In this emergency-room photo, you can see where Davis got the blood that he allegedly “transferred” to the uniforms of the officers who beat and kicked him. Possibly while they were beating and kicking him, but the report is not totally clear as to when said transfer occurred. To be honest, there are reasons to believe that it never occurred at all. Such as the fact that the officers involved all admitted under oath that it didn’t. That’s one pretty good reason
Here is a decent article. They got the fence down last night. In Portland, authorities erected the steel barrier around the federal courthouse after two earlier fences were swiftly torn down. The latest barrier was held in place by large concrete blocks and proved impregnable for several days. Early on Sunday, protesters attempted to bring it down with teams pulling on ropes, but the ropes broke. Then they used a chain, a section of the fence gave way, and the rest was toppled to huge cheers before the crowd was driven back by teargas and rubber bullets.... One group is running a production line of homemade shields, constructed from cut-up plastic barrels. Portland: protesters bring down fence as confrontation with Trump agents rises
Chile: Protesters collect tear gas canisters in water jugs during clashes with police I think water with alot of dish soap would work well too as the gas would be all caught up in making bubbles.
Nasty things. No decent wind coming this week either. How many of those tear gas cans to they have ? These protests have been going on for a wile in many cities. Seattle same thing little wind. Good windy night possibly deplete their stockpile. wunderground.com/forecast/us/wa/seattle
yes he saw the racial divide that Obama created with his support and promotion of divisive politics he brought into the White House. Nice of you to acknowledge that... as trump, unlike the left, avoided using racially based politics and dividing people into camps based on skin colour. This was a major point....and is Partially why he won. Have you heard medication, under trump has lowered 17 percent and he put out an initiative that will lower it even more. This was done on Friday. He has been a very busy man ... while you all simply focus on the fall And destruction of democratic cities, supported by democratic leaders who let the looting, vandalism, beatings and murders to continue, don’t by this unlawful mob. how are republicans cities doing during these riots? Oh wait, the crimes Against humanity aren’t happening In republican cities, like they are in cities that have democrat mayors. Hmmmm
The only divisive politics that Obama brought to the white House occurred when a black man crossed the threshold as president. Imagine! A black man as president! You heard drug prices dropped from the white House and Breitbart, I assume. Everyone else claim they went up. His new drug orders seem to be very similar to old Democratic initiatives that he rejected last year. Trump is late but begrudgingly trying to look like he's doing something due to his low numbers in the polls. Here's Trump busy at work at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. N.J. on Saturday. Today he was back golfing at the Trump National Golf Club. Busy man. So far he's golfed over 276 days as of 7/11/2020 (at a cost to taxpayers of $137,000,000 dollars. That's 137 million at 266 days).* Busy man. Evidently you don't understand about cities...most are Democratic as they are intellectual centers and many also have large minorities as most minorities don't own many homes in the suburbs and country. Intellectuals and minorities tend to be Democratic. But, on your point....... San Diego has a Republican mayor and rioting. As does Jacksonville, and Omaha, and Miami. But I do appreciate your attempt to divide us * This figure is not up to date as web sites can't seem to repost as often as Trump golfs.
Yeah, who lite the fire on his Tiki Torch? His comments were always right on the edge of being racist, but now he’s gone full bore,
Perhaps you can explain what you find racist, where Flagme lacks the cranial capacity to do so. Plenty of times I've drawn the line between the statement that the lives of black people do matter, and the Marxist organization that sows the seeds of division and anti-police warfare.
Kevin Faulconer is the pro-choice, pro-same-sex marriage, climate-change acknowledging, Mexico-embracing, Spanish-speaking mayor of San Diego who didn’t vote for President Trump. Yet the left would say Faulkner isn’t a republican. He is a moderate. Moderate republicans exist. He believes in things that republicans supposedly doesn’t believe in. HaveNot heard much about San Diego protests, is the city destroyed? Not true... it didn’t happen when Obama entered the White House. It happened when he brought in policies that were directed at specific ethnicities based on skin colour. It started before that though. With his close affiliations with terrorists. It started long before when he was growing up. He was raised on hatred which was pretty clear when his pastors sermons were made public and the anti white rhetoric. Keep in mind this was a man he invited over once a week for dinner and married him and his wife, everything that pastor said are in BLM demands. Rev. Jeremiah Wright. After 9/11, Wright called the attacks retribution, in part, for America’s support of Israel. In a 2009 interview, Wright said: “Them Jews ain’t going to let Obama talk to me. ... They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. ... Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing by Jews is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel.” This was his close friend and pastor. Though their relationship never stopped, it was just kept hush, like so much of Obama admins shady practices, Majority voted for Obama, where were the riots? many white people voted for him, what caused this to change? What caused black people in Detroit to vote against Democrat party? Could the first.red flag have been Obama’s pastor and friend? or how about Obama’s association with the nations of Islam leader Farrakhan? A very racist and violent man. and how his pastor awarded the racist nations of Islam Farrakhan the trumpeteer award? Obama’s second term featured a significant amount of racial conflict. The Black Lives Matter movement was formed, or went public and came out from under ground. ... and subsequent weeks of protest and unrest, kicked off a massive and racially polarizing national debate over police violence against African Americans. Obama denounced cops constantly. Remember Harvard professor Louis Gates, a friend of Obama’s Who happens to be black. He couldn’t open his front door upon returning home from a trip. Gates asked his driver for assistance. A neighbour, observing two people trying to force open Gates’ front door, called 911. The Cambridge, Massachusetts, cops responded, and requested that Gates, now inside the house, step outside and prove who he was Rather than cooperate, he called the cop racist and talked of racism in the police force.. Gates made flippant comments to the cops, escalating the matter. Obama later said, “The Cambridge police acted stupidly.” No, they had not. Then oObama continued with... “there's a long history in this country of African Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.” Bla bla bla... it was constant in his rhetoric that was very anti anything except black lives matter who is also connected to Marxism, just like Obama. Far left, not a moderate. Programs put in place under Obama to give advantages to poor kids based on skin colour. Not cool. People struggling, regardless of skin colour saw themselves as forgotten.
In every movement including BLM there are always opportunists who will set fires and loot stores, and outside agitators with their own agenda who will attack the police and other law enforcement agencies. But the vast majority are peaceful law abiding citizens who are using their right under the constitution to protest. By lumping everyone together it makes you look like a fool, along with Donald Trump who has proposed to send federal agents to Chicago to quell the violence. But once again it’s a small group of people, mostly gang members who are instigating the violence. Most Chicagoians are good decent law abiding African Americans citizens who will get caught in the crossfire.
Look, if The people you are with, start a fire and then everyone cheers for it, celebrates it... then dances around it, are you also a part of it? If you form a line, stopping police and fire departments From getting to the fire, are you participating in the prime? If a young man is shoT and when police come, and paramedics come, and you tell the cops, we took him to the hospital already, yet this is a lie, are you guilty of a crime? Is covering up a crime? Assisting the criminals by covering them. Being a watch out for police coming and misdirecting them and then cheering as they walk away as people die and businesses burn? Are you attending any riots right now or staying clear? I have seen many here simply for saying they do not support blm and believe in all lives matter, told they are a trump supporter. Told they are racist. If you are black and vote trump you are turning your Back on your race. Is this not lumping everyone into one catagory? Yet jobs for black people during trump was up by 4 percent. The country had not seen such a low unemployment rate. Minnesota is a very liberal state has The murder of George Floyd and racism is the Narrative again. Police brutality, yes. Have you seen the bill the left wants to pass for defunding the police and what they want? Personally it is crazy... the demands the Bill and what the left wants? All federal prison close. No more jails or prisons. All records of past crimes and criminal records not kept... and the list goes on. It is called CAN BREATH ACT. ... it would be i can’t breath if this passes, the people will Be suffocated under the weight of it, , This is madness. https://breatheact.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/The-BREATHE-Act-PDF_FINAL3-1.pdf
