So if trump has done so much good for the country, why is his approval rating at 38%?

I will be voting democrat in 2020. I'm already starting to like Biden, and it sounds like we'll get stuff out of it, hopefully salvage our reputation.

 

Take a look at what the mainstream media says about him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Don't forget about Hollywood, either. The Democrats don't have anything to attack him on so they make personal attacks on him, his family, his staff and his supporters and they've done so since the day he was officially elected. I think that would be part of the reason. Also, if the Democrats feel that they have shut down the Republican and Independent voices, you may be surprised at what could happen. By the way, I'm not so sure the polls are accurate. Remember the polls in 2016?

 

You should be more worried about this country than the Democrats reputation. I guess not.

 

Unfortunately, many on the left criticize the President because they don't like him because of who he is and is wanting to drain the swamp!

Oh I am. I think that our contribution to global society has tremendous potential. We're a leader in lots of ways, and I hate to see that exploited. We have an opportunity to show developing or less fortunate countries a way forward. Right now, we seem to be showing them the exits...

I like to think of United States also as a safe-haven for people in need. And a lot of times we're referred to as a melting-pot of cultures. I think it's really fascinating to live in a multicultural society, and I appreciate the opportunities to interact with different people, get to know their ways, and teach them that it's ok to love.

 

Why would you think that our reputation isn't important?

 

I agree with you that we are leaders and should not be exploited. I also believe in diversity, but we must be smart about who we let into our country in these dangerous times and to open our borders to EVERYONE is not smart.

 

Well.. yes. Security is at issue. That should not be forgotten. But there have to be better ways. Banning an entire cross-section of society or limiting refugees and stuff like that is problematic.

 

I didn't say that it was not important. I was saying that country should take place over reputation. If it does, the reputation will follow.

 

So is allowing terrorists into our country and they know how to play the game which is why we need borders.

I don't condone terrorism by any means. That much is absolutely certain.

I think that security is paramount for that reason, but that flat out bans don't work. There's a ton of collateral damage with the "ban" approach.

 

Stay out of Iraq like the government of Iraq told him to.
