The smell of Hay reminds me of my birthplace, Windsor, my Dad would take me to the Farms at weekends.

Ahhh - pipe smoke. I used to smoke a pipe back in the day. I had a 'falcon' pipe, the kind which had a detachable bowl. I 'seasoned' it before I used it - put it in a glass and poured 'pussers' rum over it and let it sit until the rum soaked into the bowl - took about three weeks, then I left it to dry (another 2 - 3 weeks) before re-attaching it to the stem of the pipe and it was then ready to use - gave a beautifully 'cool' smoke.

I have never tried smoking a pipe.

What smell reminds you of those you love Vlad?

believe it or not, bounce dryer sheets remind me of racism, or at least of immigrants using bounce dryer sheets; which I used to have a racist sentiment about when I was a racist twenty something in the early part of the millennium. I'm over it, but the pungent aroma always reminds me that I was once a total douchebag and a hater.

Yeah. I'm ashamed, but it always reminds me of then when I smell it. I don't know if you've smelled them before, but dryer sheets are fairly aromatic, and near the laundromats you can really smell it sometimes.

Incidentally, I think they prevent static cling... :sunglasses:

I don't have any smells that evoke memories but the sound of seagulls squarking always reminds me of happy family holidays in Weymouth

Yes, we have them, I have also been to your country many times.

OK, what does the smell of Candy Floss or you say Cotton Candy evoke?

T'other way round Candy darlin' - that certain person is hoping to come here when my 'shielding' ends and we can get out and about and enjoy meals out in restaurants.

Las Fiestas... the fiestas they had at the Church grounds when I was growing up. More so the sight of it though... I can't remember what it smells like. :)

Yes Candy darlin' - been a very frustrating year this year so far. Now that beauty parlours can open next Monday, am waiting for an appointment to get a back massage again, and next door to the beauty parlour is my hairdresser, - I need a trim. !!!
