The phrase 'I can't breathe' is descriptive of victims of both the coronavirus and police brutality, the two issues that are currently damaging Trump the most.

The left-behinders continuing to support Trump defies explanation.

Trump budget cuts trillions from Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

Trump budget cuts trillions from Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

    excerpt:

"One estimate put Trump’s Medicare cut at $478 billion over a decade, while another, from former Democratic White House aide Keith Boykin, topped $850 billion. The Medicaid cuts would both throw people out of the program and cut the payments the federal government makes to states for those who remain.

Reiterating a longtime GOP goal, Trump wants to make those Medicaid payments into block grants and cap them. States can then use—or not use—as they please. Block grants would let Republican-run states cut benefits even more.

Trump vowed in his State of the Union address the previous week he would not cut Medicare or Social Security but was silent about Medicaid, which aids the poor and the disabled. The month before, in Switzerland, he advocated cutting all three. His budget does just that.

Other Trump cuts would hit the Labor Department (-11%), the Environmental Protection Agency (-26.5%), federal education aid (-8%), and a wide range of other domestic programs, such as the Children’s Health Insurance Program and federal student loans. Trump even wants to cut the Centers for Disease Control by 9%, just days after that agency told lawmakers it needs more money to help battle the coronavirus."

One of few things I dislike about Lincoln was his attitude toward Native Americans.

Most of them can't get past the 2nd amendment.

    Great news

During his speech at Mount Rushmore, Trump started crying the blues about Democrats. He said the Left-Democrats have attacked America's history, defamed his heroes, erased his values, and indoctrinated his kids. I thought about his statement and asked: Is that not what his people did to the rightful owners of that land? Did the Whites not deface that sacred mountain which belongs to the Lakota? Didn't the Whites place Indian children in Christian schools and force them to learn and speak English, and punish them for speaking their own language? Was not the history of the Native people erased? How about the Negro slaves? Didn't the Whites burn all the Arabic letters and diaries of the Muslim slaves so that their history and culture is erased? Aren't the Whites always griping about official English and demanding Spanish speaking people comply with demands? Why should the colored people in America respect Trump's Confederate heroes and monuments? So we have to like the slavers?

"US President Donald Trump has ordered the creation of a "National Garden of American Heroes" to defend what he calls "our great national story" against those who vandalise statues.

His executive order gives a new task force 60 days to present plans, including a location, for the garden.

He insists the new statues must be lifelike, "not abstract or modernist".

The Republican governor of Texas, Abbott, is blowing Trump's chance of carrying the state in the 2020 election which has 38 electoral votes. Only CA and NY have more electoral votes.

Polls are showing Trump and Biden nearly even in a state that has easily gone Republican in every presidential election since 1980.

Florida is in much the same virus situation as TX. Polls in FL show Biden about 5% ahead of Trump.

How Texas lost control of the virus

    excerpt:

"Abbott's reversal underscored a crisis that was weeks in the making and driven by four distinct causes: the failure of public-health work like contact tracing, heavy economic pressure, the political neutering of its cities, and Abbott's solidarity with President Donald Trump's agenda. Every week of free commerce allowed more Texans to fall ill.

Now, the second-most-populous state faces the prospect of mortality like that seen in New York three months ago. Texas is fast becoming the new center of the pandemic in the U.S. The nation on Saturday saw total cases jump 1.9%, the biggest percentage increase in six weeks, with more than 45,000 new infections."

Meanwhile, Trump is doing superficial events for himself such as a fireworks display at Mt. Rushmore and talking about making a garden of monuments.

He mistakenly thought that a sculpture in the White House was that of Theodore Roosevelt while trying to teach people about history using the sculptures.

Like Texas and Florida, Kansas blew its opportunity.

Official suggests Kansas blew chance for coronavirus respite

Official suggests Kansas blew chance for coronavirus respite

    excerpt:

"TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Kansas' top public health official predicted Wednesday that the state will face steeper increases in coronavirus cases and suggested that it blew its chance for a summer respite from the pandemic by reopening its economy too quickly.

Dr. Lee Norman, the top administrator at the state Department of Health and Environment, blamed a recent surge in new confirmed cases on gatherings over the long Memorial Day weekend and the May 26 lifting of statewide restrictions on businesses and gatherings. He said Kansas remains struck in its first wave of the coronavirus pandemic."
