This is probably a politically motivated maneuver. & it makes me sad that our friends who come with visas will suffer because of the selfishness of this administration. If they are so acutely aware of the struggling economy, perhaps they will know what to do about it... Likely not, though.

Deficits and debt don't matter to the REPUBS when the spending is for military projects - even the ones the Pentagon has stated they don't want or need. Or when the debt is increased by giving HUGE TAX BREAKS to their rich, corporate cronies who shovel big money into their election campaigns. Then that's just fine by the REPUBLICANS.

But give bigger tax breaks to the avg. American? Let the old retired people have their meager, promised Social Security checks, keep Medicare & Medicaid funded??? Oh HELL NO !! Muck-mouth MOSCOW MITCH McCONNELL is publicly pushing to CUT those things for those greedy avg. working Americans. Better to shovel those HUGE TAX BREAKS to their filthy rich corporate political donors. Make those avg. hard-working Americans get by with less.

Well then ……………………… why does the REPUBLICAN PARTY keep rolling back and / or eliminating the financial safeguards put in place by the Obama administration ( after the Bush administration's "de-regulation" of the financial services industry ) to PROTECT U.S. working people from deceptive, cheating, unscrupulous money management companies????? Why does the REPUBLICAN PARTY cut funding for the budgets of the SEC and eliminate staff who would be policing the financial industry for US .............. the American workers who would be putting our retirement money in those investments??? Why does the REPUBLICAN PARTY keep undermining the "financial police" ????? Does the American public WANT another rip-off of their retirement and college savings like began in 2007??? YES …………… 2007. George-y porgy Bush's watch. REPUBLICAN DE-REGULATION - getting rid of federal protections in law over the financial services industry.

With hundreds of billions of dollars out there ……….. and weaker, fewer or no laws ……….. & federal agencies with enough budget and staff to POLICE the financial system …………. WTF did we expect would happen??????? Did Americans blindly trust that no big money management companies would want to get their greedy fingers on our retirement and college money??? !!! No deception, lying or cheating????? This is what happens with REPUBLICAN DE-REGULATION.

The REPUBLICAN PARTY'S legislative moves are easily visible ........... there for the public to see ……………… yet some folks either don't understand what's being forced on them, or they are financially suicidal people - don't want any agency to protect their retirement money - and STILL vote for the same REPUBLICANS that are removing the financial safeguards!!!!

Its taken 5 months to infect 0.7% of your population. Under 1.0 isnt even self sustaining, which is why number of deaths per day has dropped from 3000 to under 500, even though you started lifting some restrictions 2 months ago, at the end of April

I would really like to see you say this, in person, to the family that has lost somebody to COVID-19...

You could even add the "they were gonna die in two years anyways" line for added emphasis.

This one I expect many of the countries in the world will do, so that their own skilled workers get to full employment first and if we are going to get stuck with +10% unemployment for a while, might as well try push some of them into skilled work

Alternatively, I would like to see you say a similar thing to a family of a malaria fatality, and tell them, no Americans could afford the $2 for a malaria vaccine dose because McDonalds were selling cheeseburgers for $2 that month

Also alternatively, there seems to be at least 160 children in Indonesia that have actually died from malnutrition and the Covid lockdowns the last couple of months, still listed as Covid deaths so old farts feel less guilty
