Trump fumes as protesters stake out festive zone in Seattle Following days of violent confrontations with protesters, police in Seattle have largely withdrawn from a neighborhood where protesters have created a festival-like scene that has President Donald Trump fuming By TED WARREN and ALI SWENSON Associated Press June 11, 2020, 4:57 PM Trump fumes as protesters stake out festive zone in Seattle excerpt: "Inslee tweeted Thursday that state officials will not allow threats of military violence from the White House. “The U.S. military serves to protect Americans, not the fragility of an insecure president,” he tweeted. The zone set up by protesters stretches across several blocks on Capitol Hill, where dozens of people show up to listen to speakers calling for police reform, racial justice and compensation for Native groups on whose land the city of Seattle was founded."
Oh he has a fuming again is he? He is always fuming according to CNN, is it CNN, no ABC, an exclamation mark in a tweet is "fuming" Yawn
It's the "recently criticized" part May have to send in the military to help clean up the mess. Those four star generals might have to pull their fingers out of their asses, .....they choose that time to start criticizing Trump Pussies
He's going to cry now because the DOW just dropped 1800 points in one day … after bad news concerning COVID.
Yea. I really want Biden to lead the country into a bright future now. I wonder what's in store. Maybe a reelection? Or a landslide? Something cool, hopefully. Because this is stupid. And we look asinine to everyone in other countries too. It's our fault. We elected him!
You have millions of public servants you have to get through to actually change anything Your current President doesn't even represent the party that controls the lower house Who your President is, is nowhere near as important as many make out What's Biden going to do?, you want a President that's going hold your hand when times are tuff, tell every one what they want to hear, nothing changes, in fact gets worse, because all those cronies around him fill their own pockets
Good luck with the Republican National Convention in August which was switched from North Carolina to Florida MIAMI — Florida’s Department of Health on Thursday morning confirmed 1,698 additional cases of COVID-19, the highest reported in a single day since the pandemic began. The state now has a total of 69,069 confirmed cases. Previously, the highest daily count of newly confirmed cases was on June 4, when 1,419 cases were announced. Florida slowly began to reopen in May. Now in June, most businesses across the state are open at limited capacity with social distancing regulations in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Florida reports highest single-day total of coronavirus cases
And Florida had 1413 new daily cases back on April 17th. It's barely moved in two months And if nothing changes weeks after the RNC in August, you will be like oh, something in October will make the figures worst Except by then, there will be a whole lot more people that don't give a shit
there's that pot/kettle thing again. btw, awhile back you said that it's important that trump get's reelected because it benefits you. You're probably the only aussie that feels that way.
When Trump's supporters stormed the statehouses in states with Democratic governors such as Michigan to liberate themselves, Trump applauded it and told the governors to make a deal with the protesters who were violating Trump's own virus guidelines. When liberation happens in a place like Seattle, he threatens to send in the federal military to stop the liberation. His liberation is highly selective. He applauds what he perceives as Republicans liberating themselves from Democrats but scorns what he perceives as Democrats and others liberating themselves from the abuses of the police. As expected, Trump is trying to capitalize off the racial unrest that he has fostered and off the now nearly 120,000 U.S. coronavirus deaths that he helped cause and that continues at a rate of about a thousand per day. He is still belittling the virus and calling to reopen the country as soon as possible to try to rescue his reelection bid by stifling Birx and Fauci and partially removing the RNC convention from North Carolina where he couldn't garner a guarantee for 20,000 people packed in a venue totally free of face masks and social distancing, akin to his delusional vision of packed churches across the country on Easter Sunday. That's the same Trump who after the 2016 election said he wanted to unite the country.
As expected, Trump and the RNC move part of the RNC convention to Florida, an electorally significant swing state that polls show Trump is losing and where Trump now officially resides after legally leaving NY. Trump to accept nomination in Jacksonville after moving most of convention out of Charlotte By Dan Merica and Jeff Zeleny, CNN Updated 9:35 PM ET, Thu June 11, 2020 Trump to accept nomination in Jacksonville after moving most of convention out of Charlotte - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Because the party signed a contract to hold the convention in Charlotte, they are obligated to hold some portion of the convention in the North Carolina city. But the announcement now guarantees that this year's Republican convention will be unlike any other in modern history, where delegates officially elect their nominee in one location, while the nominee accepts the nomination hundreds of miles away. By selecting Jacksonville to host the marquee Republican event of the summer, the Trump campaign is making a big investment in another critical battleground state. If Republicans stick to the schedule they previously planned, Trump will deliver his acceptance speech on August 27 in Jacksonville. That day marks the 60th anniversary of the brutal beating of black activists protesting segregation that came to be known as "Ax Handle Saturday," because the nearly 200 white attackers, according to the Florida Historical Society, used ax handles and baseball bats to beat the black demonstrators."
Bolsonaro is a blustering populist like Trump who also belittled the coronavirus. Bolsonaro's response to the impending death wave was a sarcastic "What do you want me to do?" Furious Backlash in Brazil After Ministry Withholds Coronavirus Data President Jair Bolsonaro’s government stopped disclosing comprehensive data on coronavirus cases and deaths as cases continue to soar. By Ernesto Londoño Published June 8, 2020 Updated June 10, 2020 Furious Backlash in Brazil After Ministry Withholds Coronavirus Data excerpt: "RIO DE JANEIRO — As the coronavirus tore through Brazil, President Jair Bolsonaro came under blistering criticism for sabotaging the isolation measures imposed by states, encouraging mass rallies by his supporters and lashing out on the soaring death toll, saying, “What do you want me to do?” Now that the outbreak in Brazil has gotten even worse — with more infections than any country but the United States — Mr. Bolsonaro’s government has come up with a unique response to the growing alarm: It decided to stop reporting the cumulative toll of the virus altogether."
