I'm not sure. I know he lifted some hunting related rules about flying back with animal parts from a safari hunt. His sons are big time hunters. Their safari hunts are the big time kind and upwards of a hundred grand. A few days ago he lifted federal regulation and enforcement. So now, the agencies cannot enforce the old law which is on the books. It's an executive order to the federal employees in each agency. So the EPA can't do anything about some company dumping chemicals in the Hackensack River.

The regulation of hunting is controlled by the state’s subject to overriding federal statutes like the Endangered Species Act (I worked on the State of Washington response to the listing of the Northern Spotted Owl in 1990 to 1992). Removing protection for the Grey Wolf and Grizzly Bear will let states control the issue....and states like Idaho and Wyoming do not have a very progressive track record in environmental issues.
