He did several tv interviews this weekend. They were all broadcast on American tv stations. The interviews must have not been carried by stations in your country. If you have little else to do, try to play with an Australian Brown Adder.

To boil it down the right wing response to Covid-19

When you have in power right wing and free market politicians with a certain set of beliefs you are likely to have the large number of unnecessary deaths that we have seen in the UK and US

These ideas been

Favouring individualistic Social Darwinism over communal government actions

Believing that rules are for other people not for them

Favouring the welfare and interests of wealth over those of everyone else

Believing that the solution to any problem is to lie, misdirect, blame others and attempt to divide people - and so we come to race which has been a major divisive weapon for these people and has been for years.

Basically right wing thinking can be toxic to a society – they are not the solution they are the problem

The idea that we can all be - or should all be - rugged individualists is just a re-working of "every man for himself." The strongest survive and to hell with the rest of you. That thought is comical because that means every individual must be his own hunter/gatherer, doctor, lawyer, farmer, home-builder, auto mechanic, electrician, plumber, financial planner, etc., or have soooo much money that you can pay others to do those things FOR you.

From what I've seen, most of Rump's supporters can't construct a sentence correctly, they speak with 4th grade English skills, use wrong words, & can't hold good jobs. And from the many crappy, run-down houses and trailer parks they live in - I'm certain they don't have enough money to pay others to do all the necessary jobs for them either.

The Republican party has ALWAYS been the party of the rich. They say one thing to get votes - but then legislate (write laws) in another direction. And the laws they write, push, or amend - always favor those with the most money. Just look at the piece of shit tax law they just enacted. Who won in that robbery? And now Moscow Mitch is crying about the deficit while Covid-19 ravages the U.S. and our economy!!!! And it's because his hero - Rump - down-played and denied the seriousness of the corona virus outbreak from the beginning. How can Rump and Moscow Mitch give HUGE tax breaks to big corporations and the very richest people in the top 1% or 2% ………… thus eliminating hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue ……………… and then turn around and cry about the deficit in the middle of a global pandemic???

If your house is burning down - you don't turn off the water from the fire hydrant - and then cry that your house is burning down. But that's just what Rump, Moscow Mitch, and the REPUBLICAN PARTY have done with U.S. government financials. And now muck-mouth Moscow Mitch is once again pushing to slash Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to make up for the money lost to the U.S. Treasury by giving those HUGE tax breaks to big corporations and the top 1% or 2% richest Americans. The people that will be hurt the most if Moscow Mitch gets his way, will be the very same Rump supporters that, even though they may be working Americans, they are paid much too little to afford any sort of life without Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid when they retire. People in the lower 98% that vote for Rump and the Republican party are - in effect - electing their own financial butchers. How many Republican voters out there believe they'll be rich enough at retirement to fully pay for their health-care, food, home and auto insurances, utility bills, taxes, cars, and up-keep of their homes without Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid?????? Without assistance from those 3 government programs - they'll be poverty-stricken and in a world of hurt when they retire.

And like you said - lying, blaming, and causing division has always been part of the REPUBLICAN PARTY'S strategy for decades. They get people to fight and argue among themselves, and race is just one of their divisive points. When people are fighting, arguing, bickering, and these days HATING each other - it's easy to confuse people and deflect from what things the Repubs are actually trying to accomplish while everyone is divided.

If anyone wants a fairer society, less pollution & a cleaner world, better financial security with less FRAUD in the banking & financial system, free & FAIR elections without gerrymandered congressional districts, and judges who aren't rubber stamps for RADICAL RIGHT-WING corporate interests and racial division - you need to VOTE DEMOCRAT !!!!!! Get Registered NOW - DON'T WAIT & put it off !!!

Read the statements of the right wing blockheads on this very site and see if you can decide that something is very wrong in this country -NOW. ( Never mind that the economic structure of this country has been rigged for a very long time. Never mind that education is denied to those that can't afford such is the standard way of operation.) Decide for yourself. But please note: this country COULD BE whatever millions and millions of voting citizens desire it to be. That is --a fair and equatable place for ALL citizens ---not just for the elites.
