Birx and Fauci seem to have evaporated, in the context of the public appearances at White House events where they were once allowed to speak.

The format changed after Trump made his remarks that suggested inhaling disinfectants and irradiating the inside of the body with UV, remarks that caused Birx to squirm quietly in her chair as Trump spoke.

Another +1 in the Donald scorecard, expanding the rich countries G7 list

"US president Donald Trump has postponed the Group of Seven summit that he wanted to hold in June and will also expand the list of countries invited to attend the rescheduled event to include Australia, Russia, South Korea and India.

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One during his return to Washington from Cape Canaveral in Florida, Trump said the G7 in its current format was a “very outdated group of countries”.

Trump should forget about the supposed super-duper weapons against protesters.

He needs an entity that can protect him from himself.

George Floyd: protesters clash with Secret Service as unrest comes to the White House

    excerpt:

"Trump has done little to calm the situation. His tweets on Friday drew fierce condemnation from the mayor of Washington DC, Muriel Bowser, for using the language of violent segregationists during the civil rights era. “To make a reference to vicious dogs is no subtle reminder to African Americans of segregationists who let dogs out on women, children and innocent people in the south,” Bowser said.

In a series of tweets early on Saturday, he claimed the White House protest “had little to do with the memory of George Floyd,” appeared to invite his supporters to counter protest and urged the Minneapolis mayor to respond more forcefully to the unrest in his city. At the Kennedy Space Center, he announced a civil rights investigation into Floyd’s death but also again lashed out at “Antifa and the violent left” whom he blames for protests spreading across the US.

And in the evening, as protests raged across the country, he tweeted that Minneapolis leaders should have deployed the national guard earlier."

Trump didn't even know that the guard had already been deployed to Minneapolis.

He also didn't know that China and India share a border thousands of kilometers long when he stated to the leader of India that at least India didn't have China on its border.

Trump made a vague reference to a supposed upcoming Saturday night MAGA rally outside the White House after anti-Trump protesters had gathered there, as if he was floating the idea to his supporters to engage in a counter-protest.

It doesn't appear that any MAGA rally happened Saturday night.

Easier just to let liberals tear themselves apart. Which is what is actually happening at the moment

This is the type of ideology you think the voting majority want running the country? Throw a big tantrum and set fire to your own neighbourhood, "peaceful" protests where shop owners get beaten to death

Starting fires and looting don't solve problems. Registering to vote and VOTING do.

I understand the rage over Floyd's killing by 3 cops kneeling on him - one on his neck - but by rioting and looting, those people are playing right into Rump's nuanced message that only white people of northern European descent matter. Everyone else is trash and sub-human to Rump. The only use he has for non-whites is if they vote for him - then he be-friends them. Then, after election day, they become invisible to him and they become trash again.

Mr. Trump has presented himself as someone who seeks conflict, not conciliation, a fighter, not a peacemaker. And he has lived up to his self-image at a perilous time.

In Days of Discord, a President Fans the Flames

    excerpt:

"Over the last week, America reeled from 100,000 pandemic deaths, 40 million people out of work and cities in flames over a brutal police killing of a subdued black man. But Mr. Trump was on the attack against China, the World Health Organization, Big Tech, former President Barack Obama, a cable television host and the mayor of a riot-torn city.

While other presidents seek to cool the situation in tinderbox moments like this, Mr. Trump plays with matches. He roars into any melee he finds, encouraging street uprisings against public health measures advanced by his own government, hurling made-up murder charges against a critic, accusing his predecessor of unspecified crimes, vowing to crack down on a social media company that angered him and then seemingly threatening to meet violence with violence in Minneapolis."

You just don't get it. He's so smart he's acting like a fool on purpose to upset you and it's working /s

What a low bar and pathetic attempt to explain. The problem is they are in too deep to admit they are wrong and a lot of them are just too stupid to care. If they don't have him they don't have anything and they feel even more powerless. A gun can't fix it and more and more in work and public places their views are not welcome.

Many restaurants and bars will kick you out for wearing a red hat for example. And speaking the way Trump does gets you a meeting with HR. If you are not fired there is mandatory sensitivity training where they are told gender is a spectrum. What will not happen is the Trump view that feelings are for the weak and free speech is the most important element of the "joke".

All they can do is hope that an old senile man is going to fix it.

Making a political rival "terrorist". Another move out of the dictator playbook. For years now it's been against Amerivca to say something like KKK or local "brotherhood" of white people is terrorist. We just should tolerate them because they are stupid and few anyway. Well if you believe a Trumper almost everyone in America thinks like them so ANFITA would be few.

But now it's OK to use big government to police what free speech and thought is. Can you name the worst terrorist attack by AFITA? There are numerous linked to Trump voters and the general Republican thinking.

A guy got hit with a milk shake once but for the most part they do the same thing as NRA anti-lock down protesters. They show up in large numbers often carrying riffles best for war and not hunting just to remind people that they can. If they feel like having a gun or assembling they will. So keep that in mind when discussing a law. But again Trump and his ilk see that as a one way street that only their moral compass can lead to.

They also rely 100% on the base meaning of a word. For example the Nazis were a socialist party. It's right in the name National Socialist German Worker's party so all socialism is bad especially that Bernie. Why he's probably Nazi too. A rare Jewish one. Never mind that Hitler went to war with the Communists or that he put his own socialists in camps. The name said it all.

Well they are now saying that the people who are anti-fascist are wrong so America is fascism to them?

While it is still fresh on everyone's mind, we can all remember that Trump was the main reason behind the spread of Coronavirus in America, because he had been the one to dismantle the very government agency which had been tasked by president Obama to deal with epidemics and pandemics expeditiously. Now we have a rebellion by common Americans against racist police agencies which had used excessive force against Black men and women. I say this also is Trump's fault. Trump had been the one, along with his short attorney general Jeff Sessions, who had dismantled federal programs which had been installed by President Obama to oversee and train local yokels in race relations. The Obama program was started after the race riots in the Saint Louis area after several Black men were killed by police, and after the Florida killing of a Black teen. In Saint Louis there was even a case where a white cop had emptied an AK 47 style weapon on a Black man in a car. The only other gun found in that car was a hand gun with only the cop's finger prints on it. It looked like a planted gun. The judge let the cop go, saying he had never heard of a Black Heroin dealer who didn't have a gun. Of course, the Black man was unable to speak for himself, as he was dead. Today, all such federal oversight has been removed by Trump and just yesterday he called for vicious dogs to be used on Black protestors. When he was in a mood to issue pardons, Trump issued a nice one to one of the men who had entered and occupied a federal facility in Oregon … while armed. Trump seems to like armed white protesters. He has not called for the use of vicious dogs on white protesters.

I'm sad that that the racist strategy has worked. A few infiltrators or bad apples make the news. People want to see a racial biases but I've seen all types of people stealing from the Target. It's the same old argument. Black guy is killed on camera by the police. Cult 45 and the right wing despite saying they are for the people are still 100% on the cop's side because he's an authority of the government to be respected. When they can't get a haircut there is no respect for government.

Black people are not killed at this rate in other countries. Why is it only in America that the death of innocent people is such a debate.? Even the guilty don't deserve death. In most cases of these viral videos the black person is not a violent offender and at the moment they are not being violent. The wrong sort of attitude is encouraged in policing. It gets the wrong sort of job applicant. The job is not really about helping everyone. It's a feeling of power that you can finally go get those people who made problems for your people. And the best part? The socioeconomic and racial biases in the society mean that you can be hateful and biases yourself and people will still love you.

Many police unions support Trump. Interesting isn't it how all the "not racist" policies are liked by people who kill black people so often. Of course not every cop would do that. There was even a case of a cop who didn't shoot black kids who looked like they were armed.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Trump: 'He should just stop talking' - CNNPolitics

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Sunday rebuked Donald Trump's rhetoric amid days of protests after the death of George Floyd, saying the President "is making it worse" and is stoking racial tensions.
"He should just stop talking. This is like Charlottesville all over again," Bottoms told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union." "He speaks and he makes it worse. There are times when you should just be quiet and I wish that he would just be quiet. Or if he can't be silent, if there is somebody of good sense and good conscience in the White House, put him in front of a teleprompter and pray he reads it and at least says the right things, because he is making it worse."

But not the Proud Boys, Cliven Bundy, the KKK. Trump probably thinks Timothy McVey was a leftist.

Notice he didn't call for dogs and guns to be used against the armed jackasses who protested Michigan's Democrat governor.

I don't remember any police stations getting set on fire or any fellow protesters getting shot from moving vehicles during that protest. It was a peaceful and non violent protest

How many people are even in those organizations, 100?

How many in antifa, 10s of thousands?
