Trump had been repeatedly praising China and the World Health Organization before the virus had yet to afflict the U.S. directly

Coronavirus: Trump terminates US relationship with WHO

Trump terminates US relationship with WHO

    excerpt:

"The president has accused the WHO of failing to hold Beijing to account over the coronavirus pandemic.

"China has total control over the World Health Organization," the president said while announcing measures aimed at punishing Beijing.

Washington will redirect funds to other bodies, he said.

The US is the global health agency's largest single contributor, providing more than $400m (£324m; €360m) in 2019.

Mr Trump, who is campaigning for re-election this year and has been criticised for his own handling of the pandemic, has blamed China for trying to cover up the coronavirus outbreak."

You forgot to mention the Indian Army encroachment on the Chinese border. Oh, and you forgot to mention the Indian army encroachment on Nepalese territory.

You can be the CCP's honourary spokesperson on HF and tell us what the CCP wants us to think about the Indian threat to the party

Trump didn't even know China and India share a border, which is about 3400 km (2100 miles) long.

He thinks he knows geography better than everyone.

Trump can always redraw the maps with his Sharpie pen to try to hide his mistakes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's expression changed "from shock and concern to resignation" after US President Donald Trump revealed an alarming lack of knowledge about the South Asia region's geography, a new book claims.

Protesters Outraged Over George Floyd’s Death March on White House, Cause Lockdown

    excerpt:

"The U.S. Secret Service ordered the White House locked down for about an hour Friday evening due to people outside the gates protesting the death of George Floyd, according to NBC News White House Correspondent Peter Alexander.

The estimated 2,000 protesters moved along to the Trump International Hotel and demonstrated there.

The protesters gathered at 14th and U streets in Northwest D.C., shutting down the intersection for a time before the group marched to the White House."

The apologies for Trump are becoming increasingly desperate.

Some of Trump's supporters are claiming that he's being altruistic and taking hydroxychloroquine as part of a clinical trial. Trump hasn't provided evidence that he's even taking the drug, let alone being part of a clinical trial.

If Trump was on the floor at the press briefing room smacking his baby rattle during a tantrum, his following would say he was being altruistic and had submitted himself to a clinical trial that studies malignant narcissism and personality age regression disorder.

Trump told Iran to be lenient on its protesters, yet he has made statements to the police in the U.S. to not be so nice with people. Trump also recently boasted about Secret Service agents coming down hard on protesters in DC.

Trump threatens 'vicious dogs' and 'ominous weapons' could have been used on White House protesters
The president's tweeted remarks are a stark contrast to how he has called on other world leaders to respond during times of civil unrest.

Trump threatens 'vicious dogs' and 'ominous weapons' could have been used on White House protesters

    excerpt:

"Shortly after Barr spoke, Trump tweeted, "Crossing State lines to incite violence is a FEDERAL CRIME! Liberal Governors and Mayors must get MUCH tougher or the Federal Government will step in and do what has to be done, and that includes using the unlimited power of our Military and many arrests. Thank you!

Trump has been criticized for inciting violence and shirking his responsibility as president to call for peaceful demonstrations in the aftermath of Floyd’s death.

Twitter put a tweet from Trump about the protests behind a warning label early Friday, stating that he had violated its rules against glorifying violence because of the historical context of his last line: "When the looting starts, the shooting starts."

Trump’s comments about the Floyd protesters are in stark contrast to how he has called on other world leaders to respond to civil unrest.

In January, Trump tweeted “To the leaders of Iran - DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS,” after nationwide demonstrations broke in response to a 50 percent hike in gas prices and escalated after the Iranian government admitted it shot down a passenger plane."

The current atmosphere in the U.S. is reminscent of 1992 when the LA riots were occurring. Bush Sr. initially dismissed it as groups of young hoodlums causing trouble, a response he would later regret and try to repair. He lost against Clinton in 1992.

Trump is similar to Bush but on a grand scale, dismissing a virus that has killed over 100,000 people in the U.S. and badly damaged the economy.

Botched responses to serious domestic problems are known to come back to haunt presidents.

Bush Sr. like to use the vague phrase 'a thousand points of light' to promote his campaign.

As the LA riots were ensuing, over a thousand fires were burning. Comedian Robin Williams said, "There are his thousand points of light."

    'Vicious dogs' and 'ominous weapons'.

Trump, who thinks he's a super duper genius, should use his phrase 'super duper' again, like he did recently when bragging about a military weapon.

Trump: "Big crowd, professionally organized, but nobody came close to breaching the fence. If they had they would....have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen."

A week of distractions from Trump shows a leader in crisis
    Analysis by Kevin Liptak, CNN

Donald Trump: A week of distractions from the President shows a leader in crisis - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"Unwilling or unable to strike a unifying tone, Trump lashed out Saturday morning when he criticized the Democratic mayors of Washington and Minneapolis while appearing to summon his own supporters to rally outside the White House.

After announcing his was safe, warning he was protected by "vicious dogs" and "ominous weapons," Trump provided a play-by-play of Friday evening's protests, of which he said he'd "watched every move." Trump wrote: "Tonight, I understand, is MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE???"

Advisers insist Trump is focused on reviving the country after three months of pandemic that have led, along with the six-figure death toll, to record levels of unemployment and entire industries shuttered. Trump has aggressively pushed for states to reopen even when they don't necessarily meet the parameters set out by his task force, which has seen its meetings sharply curtailed and its health experts' public roles reduced."
