Rump flew into a "lava-level rage" (quoted from White House inside sources) when he learned that a few people in the White House were Covid-19 positive. He felt that the staff wasn't protecting him enough from getting corona virus. Does anyone really think Rump will be in a church filled with people????? I'd love to see the "he-man-among-he-men" tough guy "genius" get right in there with no mask and mix around with all his LEMMING followers. He can show us how insignificant and "nothing to worry about" the corona virus really is by his "genius" leadership.
New Trump slogan: "I alone wrecked it. I alone can fix it." Trump campaign flying "Keep America Great" aerial banners Memorial Day weekend By Nicole Sganga May 23, 2020 / 1:36 PM / CBS News Trump campaign flying "Keep America Great" aerial banners Memorial Day weekend - CBS News excerpt: "President Trump is boldly leading our country to a better and brighter future," said Tim Murtaugh, Trump 2020 communications director. "This Memorial Day, Team Trump is reminding Americans that President Trump will never stop working to 'Keep America Great' on their behalf."
That was another one of Trump's self-parody moments. His outrage and fear about being contaminated by his staff who tested positive came at the same time as he was embarking on his campaign of telling the public that it was safe to congregate. Another self-parody is his encouragement of protesters to violate his own health guidelines. A government official in Europe stated that Trump is like a character in a Mel Brooks comedy movie.
Pretty damn sad when this type of whack job is who got elected here. Doesn't say much for our electorate, does it???
Post of a blogger: The "billionaire" who hides his tax returns. The "genius" who hides his grades. The "businessman" who bankrupted 5 casinos and lost over $1B in ten years. The "playboy" who pays for sex. The "Christian" who doesn't go to church or read the bible. The "philanthropist" who defrauds charities; like the trdump foundation. The "patriot" who dodged the draft five times and received five deferments. The "innocent man" who refuses to testify and blocked witnesses from testifying/ ignored subpoenas from lawmakers. The "married family man" who is divorced twice and had affairs behind the backs of all three wives including the first lady with a porn star Stormy Daniels. The "hard working and minimal golfer" who not only has golfed more than other Presidents has made the american people pay his resorts to feed and house secret service The"elected official" who has done nothing but try and get himself reelected by staging rallies all over the country and sticking us with the bills The "leader" who accepts no responsibility. The "doctor" who knows more than the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for the last 35 years. The racist who doesn't understand or more likely care that words matter. The "scientist" who suggests injecting disinfectant to clean out the inside. The "psychic" who predicts the virus will disappear. The "Nobel Laureate" that has a super duper missile.
And the odd thing is that the Trump supporters will read that and brush it off. It won't make even a dent in their blind support for him. Why is that? Why did Jim Jones' followers drink the Kool Aide?
Trump and his employee Mike Pompeeon told the International Criminal Court that America will not comply with any war crimes and torture investigations of US troops or mercenaries, or CIA personnel. Now they are telling the ICC that they will not comply with any investigation of Israel's war crimes against the Palestinian people. Trump has repeatedly insulted the Muslim & Arab people with antics like moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, which is officially under International law a part of the Palestinian West Bank lands. Trump also declared the Golan Heights which belong to Syria as new Israeli lands, and got a new yet to be built town named Trump Heights at that location, regardless of International law. Now, during the same time when 38 Million Americans have lost their jobs due to Coronavirus, Trump is giving $38 Billion to Israel. And that is on top of the $44 Billion they had just received.
Article from 2019. Golan Heights: Israel unveils 'Trump Heights' settlement BBC News 16 June 2019 Israel unveils 'Trump Heights' in Golan excerpt: "At a naming ceremony on Sunday, Mr Netanyahu said Trump Heights honoured Mr Trump for his decision to recognise Israeli sovereignty over the territory. Building work has yet to begin but a sign bearing Mr Trump's name and US and Israeli flags was unveiled. Critics called the move a publicity stunt with no legal authority. Israel seized the Golan from Syria in the 1967 Middle East war. In March, the US became the first country to recognise Israeli sovereignty over the area since Israel effectively annexed it in 1981. "This is a historic day," said Mr Netanyahu, hailing President Trump as "a friend of Israel". US Ambassador David Friedman, who attended the ceremony, called the move "well deserved, but much appreciated""
Trump keeps his staff in flux with White House musical chairs Six months from an election, Trump still loves to hire, fire and remake the West Wing staff. By NANCY COOK 05/18/2020 04:30 AM EDT Trump keeps his staff in flux with White House musical chairs excerpt: "The White House is seeing a historic pace of turnover among its highest-ranking aides, a musical chairs environment as the president faces his greatest leadership test and the biggest threat to his 2020 campaign. Some allies say he’ll need stability now more than ever to be able to bring the coronavirus crisis under control and preserve his shot at reelection. Trump’s top officials — influential roles in the executive office of the president — have had a turnover rate of 86 percent since Trump took office, according to research by Brookings Institution senior fellow Kathryn Dunn Tenpas, whose work focuses on White House personnel, presidential reelection campaigns and trends in presidential travel. In new findings, Tenpas calls the rate of turnover for 11 pandemic-related positions in the administration from Trump’s inauguration until December 2019 “extraordinary.” One of the key pandemic jobs, the deputy national security adviser, has been held by six separate Trump officials in less than three years, according to Tenpas’ research."
Trump Says He Had No Idea His Pandemic Response Team Was Disbanded. What If That’s True? Robert Mackey March 14 2020, 1:58 p.m. Trump Says He Had No Idea His Pandemic Response Team Was Disbanded. What If That’s True? excerpt: "President Donald Trump denied on Friday that he was in any way responsible for his administration’s failure to make coronavirus testing widely available, and professed to have absolutely no idea who had disbanded the White House pandemic response team two years ago (John Bolton), or even if that had happened (it did). The president’s insistence that the buck very much does not stop with him was overshadowed by his false claim that Google had 1,700 engineers working to create a nationwide website that would direct Americans to testing sites nationwide. On Saturday, Trump appeared briefly at another news conference and revealed that he has been tested for the illness, Covid-19, after being exposed last weekend to at least two Brazilian officials who have subsequently tested positive."
In 2017, Obama officials briefed Trump's team on dealing with a pandemic like the coronavirus. One Cabinet member reportedly fell asleep, and others didn't want to be there. Ashley Collman Mar 17, 2020, 10:58 AM In 2017, Obama officials briefed Trump's team on dealing with a pandemic like the coronavirus. One Cabinet member reportedly fell asleep, and others didn't want to be there. excerpt: "When President Donald Trump visited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention earlier this month as coronavirus cases accelerated in the US, he said that "you can never really think" that something like this might happen. But it turns out the Obama administration did think this was something Trump could face in office and took steps to brief his appointees on how to respond to an outbreak before he took over in 2017. Politico reported on Monday that it obtained documents from that legally mandated training and spoke with more than a dozen attendees, from the Obama and Trump administration sides. Obama officials, they said, explained what the Trump administration would have to do when faced with a pandemic. The model scenario was similar to the coronavirus outbreak: an outbreak that crops up in Asia, spreads to the US, and exposes problems like shortages of ventilators and antiviral drugs."
Another one of the endless fights Trump has started. Trump accuses TV presenter of murder as coronavirus deaths near 100,000 Andrew Buncombe The Independent May 24, 2020, 2:11 PM EDT Trump accuses TV presenter of murder as coronavirus deaths near 100,000 excerpt: "There was a time when Donald Trump and television host Joe Scarborough seemed to be the best of friends. When he was running for the presidency, Mr Trump would often or call in to the show Mr Scarborough co-presented with Mika Brzezinski, his wife. Mr Scarborough, 57, a former Republican member of Congress, would brag about calling Mr Trump to offer him advice, and such was their perceived friendship, officials at liberal-leaning MSNBC reportedly became concerned. That is now ancient history. At some point along the road, Mr Trump fell out with Mr Scarborough and Ms Brzezinski, or at least their coverage of him. The president launched a notoriously vicious Twitter attack on Ms Brzezinski, 53, in the summer of 2017, claiming he had turned the couple away from a New Year’s Eve party as she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift”. In the latest assault on Mr Scarborough, launched over the Memorial Day holiday and as the number of US coronavirus deaths neared 100,000, Mr Trump accused the presenter of being involved in a murder."
Article from March 2020. Bolsonaro is a populist like Trump and has the same dismissive mindset as Trump about the coronavirus. Bolsonaro's remark was, "What am I supposed to do about it?" Brazil currently has 22,746 coronavirus deaths. Brazil’s Bolsonaro makes life-or-death coronavirus gamble By DAVID BILLER March 28, 2020 Brazil’s Bolsonaro makes life-or-death coronavirus gamble excerpt: "RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Even as coronavirus cases mount in Latin America’s largest nation, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has staked out the most deliberately dismissive position of any major world leader, calling the pandemic a momentary, minor problem and saying strong measures to contain it are unnecessary. Bolsonaro says his response to the disease matches that of President Donald Trump in the U.S., but the Brazilian leader has gone further, labeling the virus as “a little flu” and saying state governors’ aggressive measures to halt the disease were crimes. On Thursday, Bolsonaro told reporters in the capital, Brasilia, that he feels Brazilians’ natural immunity will protect the nation."
^^^^^^^ re: (Scarborough & murder) I fart better outbursts of air than Rump does. No mentally-normal person makes such rash statements and accusations that have NO BASIS in reality or truth. It's even sadder that so many GULLIBLE, UNDER-EDUCATED LEMMINGS suck Rump's shit down and buy it whole-heartedly. Willful blindness.
Trump threatens to pull Republican convention out of North Carolina He demands a guarantee the convention will be allowed to go on as planned. By ALEX ISENSTADT and DAVID COHEN 05/25/2020 08:52 AM EDT Updated: 05/25/2020 11:13 AM EDT Trump threatens to pull Republican convention out of North Carolina excerpt: "The tweet amounted to a threat. The GOP convention is expected to draw tens of millions of dollars to North Carolina’s economy, which has been devastated by the coronavirus. Cooper is facing reelection this fall, and his handling of the pandemic — and his ability to bolster the state’s economy — is likely to be a key issue. Monday morning’s tweets fit with the president’s trend of attacking states governed by Democrats via Twitter over restrictions in those states and requests for federal assistance. Prominent targets in recent weeks have included Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker."
