One of the Trump supporters at a gathering protesting against social distancing without a mask was agitating a CNN reporter and saying that he's safe because he's taking hydroxychloroquine. Some of Trump's supporters think they are safe from the coronavirus if they are taking hydroxychloroquine. Trump world becomes stranger every day. It sounds like Trump and the following are in need of other types of drugs that treat neuroses and psychoses.
So basically that person is saying ‘fuck you I’m all right jack’ that I’ll be safe (or thinks they will be) so I don’t care if I spread the virus to other people who then get it and die It’s a sick mentality
Is this mentality reserved for republicans in this scenario? Is this suppose to be facts in this area? I am pretty sure this mentality can be put at the feet of millions of democrats and I can provide proof. guess what? This flu will run its course and stop.
Beach I don’t think it is a Republican or Democrat thing I think it is more of an ignorance thing from what I’ve seen from these rallies most seem to be Trump supporters And what proof are you talking about?
Ariana Huffington --------Huffpost. And by dammit---you prove that Breitbart started huffpost!!!!! My opinion is that that is a lie. Prove me wrong.
Andrew Breitbart helped start the Huffpost---I'll give you that. But it's Ariana Huffingtons site and is a known leftist liberal. As for A. Breitbart--I think most everyone knows where his opinions and bullshit lie. Think Jones.
See what happened in California, an extremely left wing state, no one wore masks and social distancing is not observed when they opened their beaches. I don’t know how these people voted, nor does it matter, but it seems to me they are a strong left wing state and they all flocked to the beach, sans mask, and in close proximity to one another during this pandemic, I think around May 4th?. for this to be brought up in the trump score card thread as a strike Against him, is rather ridiculous in my opinion. Biden and Bernie had a debate during this pandemic in the middle of March. Broke many rules on social distancing, etc. . They did not wear masks, nor did they maintain social distancing. So Biden and Bernie are ignorant too? They certainly can preach about it, but do as they say, not as they do?
yes I can. Health care workers in Toronto are taking it to see if it helps protect them against this virus. They are the test subjects. The drug is approved for by the fda for arthritis, which trump may have, and malaria too. Is it an approved drug by the FDA. Many healthcare workers are taking it, Which he states and he is willing to take it with them. So why is this bad? Why has it been blown up into... OMG he is telling people to poison themselves, No he isn’t. You need a prescription for it, It isn’t like it is easily obtained. This drug has a long history of safety when used for both malaria prevention and in rheumatic disease. Our government is actually funding this as well to see if it protects front line workers.
Obama Derangement Syndrome at it again. I'm amazed even his supports don't see this psychological turmoil. Trump is a deeply insecure man because people will always like Obama. You can admit you voted for him and not risk loosing job opportunity's and friends. Not the case with Trump and his voters say so too. A lot want to wear red hats but know they will labeled as a stupid or racist if they do so. Trump is refusing to unveil Obama's portrait at the White House, breaking a 40-year tradition
It conjures up images of Trump supporters as 'poll observers' trying to descend on polling places with assault weapons and agitating voters like they have done with their protests against social distancing at the state houses of swing states, particularly ones where the governor is a Democrat.
President calls negative hydroxychloroquine study 'a Trump enemy statement' – live Maanvi Singh in Oakland (now), and Joan E Greve in Washington and Martin Pengelly in New York (earlier) Tue 19 May 2020 18.01 EDT First published on Tue 19 May 2020 07.49 EDT President calls negative hydroxychloroquine study 'a Trump enemy statement' – live excerpts: "The president criticized a negative hydroxychloroquine study as a “Trump enemy statement.” A study of hundreds of coronavirus patients at US veterans health administration medical centers showed those treated with the anti-malaria drug, which Trump has repeatedly promoted, were no less likely to need a ventilator and actually saw a higher death rate." "Trump lashed out against Nancy Pelosi after the House speaker described the president as “morbidly obese.” Pelosi said she did not think Trump should be taking hydroxychloroquine, particularly considering his age and weight. “Pelosi is a sick woman,” Trump said in response. “She’s got a lot of problems, a lot of mental problems.”"
Considering his intense spite for Obama, the best Trump could muster on that event would be to unveil Obama's portrait and then take his Sharpie pen and draw jail bars over it.
A journalist should ask Trump who provided him with the prescription for the hydroxychloroquine he claims he is taking and for what purpose the doctor prescribed it. Trump didn't say he was taking it for malaria or arthritis. He talked like it will ward off the coronavirus.
