Ive watched the buses here, its said no more than 10, but I see bus packed with normal amount of riders and the driver isnt wearing a mask.. media is full of shit!

Its an observation. I dont ride buses unless going to a concert.

 

Around here there’s a barrier set up between the driver and the passengers, the seats closest to the drivers are not in use,
the passenger enter through the side doors not the front (you don't pay a fare) and all drivers are required to wear masks

 

you don't pay a fare? Buses are free?

 

Our buses always had plastic barriers to prevent violence on the drivers. Fares was free for some time, but that ends on Monday.

 

They have been for the last 6 weeks and will continue to do so until the emergency is lifted.

btw The state recently paid the MBTA $840 million dollars in compensation for the loss in revenue
