Trump himself acknowledged that Flynn lied to him and to the FBI and said that's why he fired him. Trump's later defense of Flynn was that Flynn had lied but had nothing to lie about regarding Russia.

FBI director Comey said that Trump wanted him to drop the case against Flynn but Comey refused. Trump later fired Comey which gave impetus to the Mueller investigation. Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, was later forced out by Trump.

Trump is known for digging himself into a deeper hole when he tries to defend himself and his associates. He has done it with Flynn, Comey, Sessions, Rosenstein, and his loose words to the press that revealed his knowledge about his funneling of hush money through his personal attorney Cohen who was later convicted, a case which is still under investigation in the state of New York which Trump has been trying to stymie by withholding his finacial records.

 

Trump's loose mouth leads to situations where he tries to acquit himself and his associates by whatever means necessary, such as pardoning his associates, Trump pardoning himself as he has suggested (which would can be deemed as part of an unfaithful execution of the law), firing someone in charge of an investigation (which can create another crime), or having someone like attorney general Barr, who is on his side, drop a case, which can be considered a corrupt act but is difficult to prosecute when the Justice Department itself becomes corrupt at the behest of Trump.

Trump eventually found a remedy by appointing Barr (a promoter of expansive executive power) after firing FBI director Comey, attorney general Sessions (who justifiably recused himself of the Russia investigation which irritated Trump), and forcing out deputy attorney general Rosenstein (who had appointed Mueller to investigate the firing of Comey, which irrritated Trump) who would have normally assumed the vacant AG position but didn't and was replaced with Barr who was appointed by Trump.

 

The following article elucidates how Trump and his loose mouth and clumsy explanations implicate him further in situations where he is trying to defend himself. He claims he didn't know issues related to Flynn but his explanations indicate that he did know.

Trump made the same clumsy mistake when he claimed he didn't know about his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels via his personal attorney Cohen but later accidentally revealed to the press on Air Force One that he did know about it. He tried to cover that mistake by making a vague claim on Fox that he knew about it 'later', supposedly late enough that he wasn't guilty of knowing about earlier and covering it up.

Trump is hailed as supposedly being ten steps ahead of everyone when he has shown a consistent pattern of trying to cover up his previous mistakes.

That's a typical right wing nut statement. People on welfare means many things. The right wingies always try to stigmatize people who receive public assistance. Well pal, there are some welfare mothers who cannot go and pick fruit, because no one would care for their babies. There are some who are in their 70s or 80s and living on social security and food stamps and could never work, and no farmer would want them to be on his farm. Then, the disabled who have no legs cannot pick fruit. And the same goes for guys who had heart by-pass surgery. But, it is worthwhile to note here that the largest group of welfare recipients in America are white people who are often alcoholics and meth-heads who had their driver license taken away by a judge.

Rump has effectively done what Hitler did in Germany when he installed the SS as his own, personal police force which catered to all Hitler's wishes and policed his fascist state as he told them to. Barr is nothing but a Rump puppet - Ethics-less, spineless, no integrity, biased, corrupt. His decision to clear Flynn (after Flynn admitted twice he lied to the FBI) is a prime example. Keep your eyes peeled for other clearings and pardons from Rump.

I wonder if Rump and all his corrupt minions remember this .................... that God sees EVERYTHING THEY DO, and KNOWS EVERY INNER MOTIVATION THEY HAVE for things they do and say. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is hidden from God's eyes. God is only concerned with right and wrong - HIS VERSION of right and wrong - and cares nothing for politics or political name tags. Maybe people ought to read scripture and see how Jesus had strong verbal warnings & condemnations against corruption and hypocrites.

 

Indeed, and these mothers are given MORE subsidies if they stay unmarried in a father-absent home. Because of this, welfare destroys the family unit. Just as it was designed to do.

Even if they can’t work a farm, they still have alternatives. Handicapped people would do fine in a tech support or a call center job. As Trump brings more of these jobs back home from overseas, they’d do well there.
