Back in the old days, my old city had a service called the Berry Bus, where they’d pick up the jobless people from the inner city, and send them out to the farms for a day to pick berries and beans, and pay them for the quantity. They don’t have that service anymore because they’d rather live on welfare than work for a similar pay. It’s a shame too, because picking food is an important job, and a good resume builder.

Apparently there is information in it which Trump does not want made public. Trump has already gone to the Supreme Court to block Congressional attempts to get his tax files. And he has done the same with the business records which his accountants have. There is also his attempt to block Deutsche Bank from making his files available to Congress. In the latest attempt to get around the law, Trump has got William Barr to drop prosecution of Michael Flynn, who had in fact pleaded guilty already. When it comes to Michael Cohen, Trump wants the harshest treatment possible, because the former lawyer had implicated him in criminal activity.

 

The backdrop for the 2020 election was Ukraine. Now it's China.
