Naah, I train mainly for strength and stress relief....if I was training primarily to burn calories, then yeah.

it's weird how many people think that the only possible reason to exercise is to burn calories.

anyway, even if that were your goal, exercising before or after a heavy meal or drinks would be better than having a heavy meal or drinks and no exercise.

Well, that's what I was doing right then is all. Now, tomorrow is another story. I don't think I have anything planned then. The following day, I will likely need to visit the grocery store.
