What ticket? The democrat candidacy? That's my point. The democrats shouldn't have a monopoly on left leaning voters. That's your first problem.
    Arguable.

Any ticket, really. But yes, there as well. A third party with no electorate does nothing in my opinion.

Uhm, no party without an electorate does anything.
Why do you conclude there's no electorate for third parties? The majority of the american electorate is at odds with their current options. They just need to realize how to get the change they want.
Any third party is already disadvantaged in your political system. This is the problem more so than there not being an electorate for it.

Exactly. Just because I lean left doesn't mean I have to vote for whoever the DNC tells me to vote for. That's not democracy. They can all go fuck themselves.

I think you have a point. It's just getting it all off the ground that feels problematic. Also, the political left seem to be welcome to run as Democrat. Problem solved? :)

Creepy ole Joe Biden. Evidently he's the best we got? America deserves to fall.

    EDIT: Bit of hyperbole there

  7. Yea, but wasn't she just a rental in the first place? Same as the women involved with the infamous "grab them by the pussy" controversy, all paid to be there. What's weird to me is that people seem to take exception to Trump treating whores, like whores.

The same kind of people who cheer at the thought of Trump's son being locked in a cage with a group of pedophiles. It's amazing how vile the left can be while lamenting others for far more tame vices. Their only choice to deflect seems to be the race card. But that too would be put aside if Biden (or son) was discovered to be corn holing a whore boy while making him wear a Barak mask.

What an amazing election year this is going to be. I still see potential light at the end of the tunnel for the democrats. More rugs to be pulled and banana peels to toss.

Well. It needs to be done.
Does it look like that is solving anything?

Change 'the left' with 'some leftists' and it makes more sense.

Pretty clear you're fooling yourself. I like Bernie, but the Democrat party never favors him. Actually the perfect example to illustrate my point. Both the left and the right are duped in your country.

  16. Agreed. But a lot of leftists (and Mitt Romney) ran off to rub one out when the image of Baron Trump in a train was let loose.

  17. Ain't that the truth!!!!!

Knowing this, can you see why some of us just can't pick a side? We are let down regularly by both.

Yes, I proclaim it regularly :p Not voting is a part of the problem, but I can hardly blame the american voter for it. They should work on making their votes count, which I readily admit is of course easier said than done. Still, the voting citizens in the US did make remarkable societal changes in the past. I think you all should look at that when a lot seem to give up before trying (as Soulcompromise sometimes sounds when discussing this)

  19. The wealthy class is at the root of all of this. It's a giant funnel with our resources being squeezed out as we are pushed into a narrowing set of choices. Oddly, food is one place where the choices are way over the top. Back in the 60s a large grocery store sold between 5,000 and 10,000 items. Today a non-specialized grocery mega-store can have 50,000 items and there are UPC codes issued for over 80,000 food items on the books.

It's the ultimate expression of Bread and Circuses, especially when you consider all the arenas being built (real and virtual). We live in a very distracted age, and it's by design.

If I were a dictator, like trump, I would make it mandatory that people have a basic knowledge of civics, and history before being allowed to vote.
