How old were you when you became a nudist?

My family has been very much opposed to nudist although when I was very young I took baths with mys siblings.So I have a vague memory from when I was probably 7 or 8. I heard something about a culture where everyone was naked and thought "I wish I was born there".I never really gave it much thought though for a long time. Then I think I was about 13 or 14 when I came across a website about nudism (I admit my intention was to look for pictures of naked people, but I became fascinated with the idea). I could only ever thing about it. It wasn't until I was about 21 that I finally started acting on it. I was walking around the house when no one else was home. Then I decided to do it when just my sister was home and she ended up being fine with it. Ever since then I have just gotten more involved. I think the first time I went to a nudist beach was late 20s and resort was when I was 30 or so.

Sunbathing on a beach with others makes you a naturist, as that is all it takes, welcome fellow naturist feel better now.

 

I was 20 when I made my first official visit to a nude beach.

However, I had been interested in the nude lifestyle starting at age 11, I just never had the chance to do anything about it until I was 20.

 

From what people say, I would say there are so many nudists around but most are not into sharing there body with others, but I think this still makes them a naturist, most say people don't want to see me naked?

Have been on the beach in Cornwall where there are all shapes and sizes, if you think about it that's life as every one is so different but that is life, as we all cant have the perfect body as that would not be life.

If you go home and strip of to be naked and love to be out in the sun, you are a naturist, jus as much as the others whether your a back yard naturist or one who just loves the beach your both naturists.

 

i dont remember my age for sure somewhere between 7 and 9 but it was the first time my parents left me home alone. i remember watch them through the living room window pulling out of the driveway while i was stripping. every time i had a chance after that ive been nude

Eu me sinto sempre gostando de usar menos roupas que meus familiares.
Acredito que comecei a ficar totalmente nu mesmo aos 13 anos em casa, antes disso talvez, mas não me lembro com clareza. Sei que entre os 5 a 10, e isso por relatos dos meus pais e raras memórias, eu brincava com meus vizinhos de correr, se esconder, ou qualquer coisa mais energética e quase sempre acabava me despindo.
Era normal, vivia em uma comunidade interiorana de São Paulo, em região de chácaras, e muitas das crianças, meninos e meninas, por vezes estavam apenas usando camisa, ou só de casinha, ou sem nada.
Depois sei que nos mudamos para um bairro mais urbano.
Foi aí que comecei a ficar nu em casa.
Eu gostava de sair à noite, sempre quente, e caminhar até o fim da rua livre de roupas. Isso aos 14 creio.
Logo após passar um longo período tendo que viver uma rotina mais industrial, preso na sociedade agitada e me esqueci dos prazeres da vida.
Por fim, graças a Deus, compre minha casa próprio, me casei e agora posso me sentir eu .

 

I was in my early teens and started sleeping nude. I got a better nights sleep when nude. When no one was home I would go around the house naked. When I got my first apartment I stayed nude all the time and loved it. I would sit on my balcony nude and have morning coffee. I was on 3rd top floor so no one could see very good. I started going on nude hikes and enjoy them all while barefoot too.

I stayed at a friend's house when I was 14. He took me to the bathroom - I thought he was going to show me where the towels were and how to turn on the shower then leave me to it but he stripped off in front of me and started showering. The door was clear glass but he wasn't bothered at all that I could see him and talked to me while I watched. After a few minutes I realised it would be my turn soon and I had to decide what was I going to do? Ask him to leave the room or turn away or was I going to be bold and follow his lead. It was thrilling just thinking about it. I decided to just do it and pretending like it was nothing when he got out and started drying off I stripped off and took my turn talking to him just like he had done. It was amazing! Nudity had never been acceptable in my family - my parents are far too conservative.
After that I would dare myself to go outside when everyone thought I was in the shower, walk around the house then sneak back in and have my shower. From there I went further and further, going outside naked in the middle of the night - across the street, then a little more each time until I was walking around the block and eventually to my old school, climbing a fence and having a sneaky dip in the pool and walking home - around a 5km round trip I guess. If cars drove by I hid behind a tree, hedge, fence, whatever I could. I've done so many crazy things including walking around my university naked and didn't get in any trouble untilI was 30. Unfortunately I've now been arrested twice although both times it was debatable if I did anything illegal but the law here is unclear and the man found ways to make the charge stick each time.

 

Just reading back though this thread and my previous comment got me to reminiscing about that first nude beach visit. I was in SF for work on a long-term assignment and had found out about Baker Beach. So when I had the spare time, I picked a nice weather day and went out there. I remember the combination of excitement (as I had been wanting to try nudism for many years) and a bit of hesitation and fear regarding being nude in public.

What I will always remember is the undressing for the first time. Like many I was too concerned about others there watching me, but I went ahead with it. First the shoes, then my shirt. Then I was standing there just in my shorts & underwear. I can't remember if I took them off separately, or if I took them off together. All I can remember is the exhilaration of sliding that last layer of clothing to the ground, and it seemed as if my cock sprang out of my shorts. Stepping out of my clothes and being totally naked on a beach was probably one of the most exciting things I had done. I stayed for a few hours, and when it was time to go, I wish I didn't have to put my clothes back on. My only regret is that it took me so many years to have the opportunity to try it.

Luckily I have a wife who readily took to nudism and enjoys it as much as I do. I'm ready to get outside (without clothes of course)! Thinking back, I wish I could re-live that day over and over again.

 

I started at the age of 13 when the house was empty 5 siblings. Then I put it on hold till I was 37. Now I embrace nudism I get naked as often as possible. Mostly at home

 

Was in my mid-to-late 20s when I starting hopping fences to apartment complex swimming pools in the middle of the night to go skinny dipping. Started nude hiking right around the same time. Never looked back. I’m 52 now. Most recent addition to my nudist repertoire is taking naked strolls around the neighborhood in the wee hours of the morning. A little more high risk on the spectrum of potentially getting caught.

 

In 1979 when I was 14 we moved into a house with a swimming pool. Over our back fence was this huge pasture and behind it down a slight hill was another two or three pastures. I quickly realized that skinny dipping felt so good that I always snuck out to the pool during those hot summer nights and swam nude. Always had to take a flashlight to make sure no critters had got in the pool before I got in.

That lead me to want to be nude more often so I started climbing over our fence and walking over the hill into the next pasture where no one could see me and walking around nude over there.

 

14 maybe 15…..I loved being nude at home as much as possible when my parents were out or at work…..but I found that when they were home the desire to be naked was too strong to resist so that’s when I started venturing outdoors, leaving my clothes behind a rock or tree and enjoying the absolute joy, bliss and thrill of being nude outdoors and going for long walks……once I left home I became a full time nudie and still love wandering around and hiking naked!!
