Coronavirus Conspiracy?

I'm not saying there isn't a pandemic but towards the end of March the UK government built the London Nightingale hospital facility with a 4000 bed capacity, with great publicity announcing they expected 1000 dead a day from CV by its peak at Easter.
Easter came and nobody in the media was talking about the Nightingale and you couldn't find out how full it was from anybody.
Then yesterday a presenter on Good Morning Britain casually says that " There are at six patients in the Nightingale"
Six !!

 

How much does it cost to get into this Nightingale because it sounds posh and expensive.

well I don’t think it is trumps special war powers. Did obama do enough with regards to the swine flu? When trump said don’t panic, he was called a liar, when he said it was just a flu, he was called a liar. When news sources criticized him for downplaying it, he was hated more and the people blamed him for the spread. now that he took the actions, something the people were screaming for by the way, and listened to dictate from WHO and the UN, who are supportive of chinas regime and is also run by Left wing people at the top. yes there are politics at play here, yes it is being used to point out what a terrible president trump is. A man who is inquiring into the United Nations and their abuse of funds and refusing to give them more. How did trump become the cause? Isn’t China and the UNs, World Health Organization responsible? Well, that is how it's supposed to work. After all, Trump knows he's not a king or a dictator, so he can't tell governors what to do. What he can do is hold on to federal money, close military bases and ramp up federal law enforcement (like Carter, Reagan, Bush1, Clinton, Bush 2 and Obama did).

Here's the thing though, you're bringing up the kernel point to all of this. Why are select governors extending their curfews? Could it be they have been doing business with China? Because I don't buy all the right wing bullshit about how they are enacting some kind of global plan to put the world under one government.

There's no way US states could pull such a thing off. Can you imagine getting all those states to agree to consolidation? Most of the governors would be rendered unemployed and powerless by that. Trump's in a rush because he fears the kinds of cascading failures that can result if the economy continues to tank. This virus has hit his traditional businesses very hard. After all, he's a guy who builds places where people congregate and pay for the privilege.

Maybe it was intentional and China was looking to get even with him personally. By destroying his empire to the point people are afraid to get near such a place.

 

Or until they have the testing and medical evidence to assess the risk. They're probably worried about the safety of their constituents.

Gov. Wolf could've said, "If you’ve been quarantined for 3 weeks and are symptom free, go to your camp or cabin. Buy groceries from the local small business grocery and liquor stores. Fish from the dock...they have been waiting all season for your return. Just exercise social distancing."

Gov. Wolf could have said, "Plant a garden! Pennsylvanians need to get outside and work in their yards. Order supplies to be delivered from your local nursery, and spend some money there. They are stocked and ready for you!"

Gov. Wolf could've said, "Take this time to work on a home project. Call your local hardware store and have them mix a gallon of paint. Pay over the phone, use social distance to pick it up."

He could have said, "Go back to your place of worship! Sit one family per pew, and use every other pew. Practice social distancing, but go and celebrate Passover and Easter."

Sure...Walmart's still gonna Walmart, Costco's still gonna Costco and Target's still gonna Target...but PA's small business owners? They're drowning!! What did he do? He tossed them a cement block instead of a lifeline.

When will people in PA realize that he doesn’t want to help us?!?! He wants us so broke and so hungry and so desperate and so afraid that we turn in our own neighbors, we hide in fear, we stay glued to the fear-mongering news and we deplete anything we have saved! And when it’s all gone, and we are desperate and broken and depressed...who will we turn to? Why the government, of course! They're sure to save us!

Gov. Wolf could have said and done a lot...but he didn’t. Do NOT ignore the message that man is sending us...because where he stands and what he’s about is loud and clear. You just need to wake up & listen.

Y'all know that I am liberal, but I am also a pragmatist. I am not saying that the virus doesn't exist, but I don't believe that every death is caused by the virus, which is what the media would have you believe. People die all the time.
as a democrat it pains me to see all this kumbaya bs from democratic leaders, especially the mayor of LA, eric garcetti. He says he is devastated by the deaths. no he isn't. He is devastated by the loss of a potential vote. Politicians don't give a shit about us.

 

The one important thing this lockdown has demonstrated to every politician in the US is how long Americans will accept being locked down before they start to question authority. I'm actually amazed it took this long for people to become irate enough to actually get out and protest.

So the next time they need to shut the country down like this, they will only have about half as much time to try for a lock-down since they haven't been completely honest about this one. People will remember that.

The assumption implicit in your statement is that the lockdown is unnecessary, & Americans should resist authority if they don't want to obey it.
